In my humble opinion, the cleanest and most original Bronco II XLT anywhere. Locally driven in Long Beach area since new, according to DMV docs. The only item I can see that's not original is the radio. Has a nice Clarion CD unit with removable face. The dash, carpets, seats, door panels, etc. are all in near perfect shape. Its an XLT so has power windows and power door locks which all work great. The rear seat looks pristine. Rear factory cargo cover also! Visors, headliner, all plastic near perfect. Drivers seat has small wear mark on left bottom welting, typical spot and only the welting for about 1 1/2" is exposed That's it. Has sheepskins on it and seats look great. Material is the red cloth front and rear. Red carpet that looks great. Steering wheel is leather has small wear mark at 7 o'clock. Factory A/C that works great. All original owners manual packet with around 5 pamphlets Recent smog cert. and ready to go with registration good until Oct. of 2013. Yes, I'm a dealer, and do all the paperwork and collect all the fees. I'm selling this locally also on E Bay as it allows the buyer to come and see this beautiful Bronco. Saves loads of time working with someone way out of state and tire kickers anyway. I'm in the Santa Ana Costa Mesa area of Orange Co. Close to everyone! Thanks for looking.
Any in state buyers, California, I'm a small dealer and do ALL the DMV work. Registration, Smog, collect sales taxes etc. NO EXCEPTIONS. Any out of state buyers must truck this vehicle to avoid the sales tax issues. You drive it to Arizona for example, you pay the sales tax. Around 8% right now. Although I'm in the car business, I really do not have shipping connections. Buyer must arrange that within a reasonable time. Week or two?? All purchase funds required within 5 days of auction close with winning bid. This is fixed, so thats what you pay. Checkout welcome, plenty of shops and Ford dealer within 20 minutes of my shop. Or send inspector by and check it out. ANY QUESTIONS, CALL OR E MAIL. Thanks David 714 751 2464

1994 McLaren F1 LM-Specification fetches $19.8M at Monterey
Mon, Aug 19 2019The botched sale of that World War II-era 1939 Porsche Type 64 may have somewhat overshadowed the RM Sotheby’s auction last weekend at Monterey, but the event wasnÂ’t without its highlights. Exhibit A: The one-of-two 1994 McLaren F1 LM-Specification supercar that we told you about a month ago netted a whopping $19.8 million at the RM SothebyÂ’s auction last weekend in Monterey, and an almost equally rare 1965 Ford GT40 Roadster Prototype also netted seven figures. The F1 is one of 106 examples ever built and one of just two in LM-Specification (the LM stands for “Le Mans”). McLaren upgraded the standard F1 at the factory post-production, adding a 680-horsepower GTR engine, an extra-high downforce coachwork kit highlighted by the massive rear wing, race-spec dampers, two more radiators and so forth. It also gained a more comfortable interior and creature comforts, with an upgraded air conditioning, radio, new headlights and a different steering wheel. Finally, the exterior was given a coat of silver paint, replacing the factory blue. Four bidders spent four-and-a-half minutes trying to outbid one another for the car, which eventually went to an unidentified American private collector. Also successfully auctioned on Friday: the 1965 Ford GT40 Roadster Prototype for $7.65 million, which fell right in line with expectations of between $7 million and $9 million. It helped pave the way for the Mark IV race cars that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans. As a reminder, it was the first of five GT40 Roadster Prototypes ever built, with seven hardtop versions also built, and it underwent a full restoration in 1983 and a mechanical overhaul in 2003. And it sure is pretty to look at.
2014 Ford Fiesta ST
Tue, 26 Mar 2013Concentrated ST Formula Proves Just As Potent
I'm not the jealous type... usually. But I will fully admit to being somewhat of a Pouty Polly when I read executive editor Chris Paukert's report after driving the then-new 2013 Ford Focus ST through the impossibly pretty southern French Alps region last June. I feel like a broken record saying this yet again, but hot hatchbacks hold a special place in my heart. And while I'm always giddy to drive any sort of small, turbocharged three- or five-door at home in Detroit, my jealousy was indeed piqued after hearing Paukert tell about the challenging yet breathtaking roads he encountered while driving the flamin' yellow Focus. You know, the sort of roads that, from above, look like carelessly drizzled lines of icing on the frosted Alpen caps.
Several months later, I found myself piloting a Focus ST just west of metro Detroit, pitting it head-to-head against one of Autoblog's perennial favorite cars, the Volkswagen GTI. It was fantastic - enough so that I fully stand behind my statement that in terms of balls-out performance, the Focus ST cannot be beat as far as today's front-wheel-drive hatches are concerned.
Ford ending Focus, C-Max production in Michigan after 2018
Thu, Jul 9 2015Ford will no longer produce the Focus and C-Max at its Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, MI, beyond 2018. United Auto Workers vice president Jimmy Settles confirmed this in a letter Thursday, which was posted on Twitter. According to the UAW Ford Department's tweet, production of the Focus and C-Max will shift to Mexico. Ford isn't confirming this, though – a spokesperson tells Autoblog, "We didn't say that." Instead, Ford issued the following statement about the matter: We will move production of the next-generation Ford Focus and C-Max, which currently are built at Michigan Assembly Plant, beginning in 2018. We actively are pursuing future vehicle alternatives to produce at Michigan Assembly and will discuss this issue with UAW leadership as part of the upcoming negotiations. Earlier this year, Ford announced layoffs of 700 employees at the Michigan Assembly Plant, citing slow sales of both the Focus and C-Max. The MAP was once heralded as a flexible, futuristic facility when it was retooled for C-segment car production in 2009. Prior to that, the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs were built at the Wayne facility. It also produced the iconic Ford Bronco. The future of the MAP is uncertain, but the UAW remains hopeful. In Settles' letter, he writes, "We are extremely confident that a new product commitment will be secured during the upcoming 2015 negotiations and that the Michigan Assembly Plant will maintain a full production schedule."
