2013 FIAT 500 POP 1.4L MULTIAIR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION BODY MAN'S SPECIAL CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE NO RESERVE ONLY 2,887 MILES PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING We at CAMPBELL BROTHERS AUTO SALES INC. are offering for sale this 2013 FIAT 500 POP with a 1.4L MULTIAIR L4 S.F.I. DOHC 16V ENGINE and AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. We purchased this vehicle from a large leasing company. When this vehicle had ONLY 2,887 miles on it and was less than 2 months old it was involved in a collision resulting in damage to the front of the vehicle. The impact was primarily to the left front corner of the vehicle. The impact appears to have been high and above the frame/unibody rail. There is a slight bend to the top of the left bumper horn but for the most part the rail appears to be straight. We have not had a professional body shop look at this car however from what we can see the damages is to the following parts and areas....... bumper cover, grill, left head light, left fog light, bumper reinforcement, A/C condenser, radiator, core support, fan, air intake (cracked), exhaust heat shield (lightly dented), left fender, left inner fender, and hood. Basically everything from the fan forward could have damage. The drivers front and knee airbags did deploy along with the passengers front airbag, and as designed the front seat belts locked in position. NO other airbags deployed in the accident. As a result of the drivers knee airbag deploying the steering column housing (plastic) came apart making it difficult to turn the key to the start position. The car will start and run however you must manually turn the internal ignition. With all of this being said there is NO damage to any other panels on the vehicle. Even the right front fender has NO damage except for a scuff that we cause while transporting. The vehicle does start and drive however due to the radiator and fan being broken it can not be allowed to run long. With the exception of the damage caused by the collision this car still looks and even smells new. This vehicle will make for a good and somewhat easy fix, and with ONLY 2,887 miles on it is well worth the effort. This vehicle had an M.S.R.P. of over $16,000. Regardless of that we are selling this FIAT with NO RESEREVE and with a CLEAN and CLEAR TITLE!!!!!! If you have the body repair ability or a friend that does this could make you an inexpensive 2013 FIAT 500 POP or a NICE PROFIT! This vehicle has front end damage however all damage appears to be in the front end and no other panels are damaged. We do have the damaged bumper cover, headlights and fog lights. The left side lights housings are broken but the right side appear to be fine. As stated above this vehicle is being sold with front in collision damage. INTERIOR: With the exception of the airbag deployment the interior still looks and smells new. DRIVE TRAIN: The car must be started with the switch inside the steering column. However the car does start and drive. As stated above due to the radiator and fan being broken the vehicle must not be allowed to run long. The car comes with both key remotes. FCA to make 1 million face masks a month for North America coronavirus fight
Tue, Mar 24 2020MILAN, Italy — Italian-U.S. car giant Fiat Chrysler has confirmed plans to produce a million face masks a month and said it will distribute them to emergency services in North America to help the fight against coronavirus. FCA, which is also trying to help produce badly needed respirators for patients in intensive care in Italy, is one of a number of large manufacturers adapting production lines to make products in desperately short supply. "Production capacity is being installed this week and the company will start manufacturing face masks in the coming weeks with initial distribution across the United States, Canada and Mexico," it said in a statement released late on Monday. The monthly output of 1 million masks will be donated to police, emergency medical staff, firefighters and to workers in hospitals and health care clinics, it said. The decision to begin distribution of masks in North America rather than Italy, the company's other home country, underlines the difficult balance global companies are having to maintain as they weigh where to offer help in the emergency. Face masks and other protective equipment for medical staff have been running out across the world as thousands of new cases of the highly contagious virus have arrived in hospitals daily. Fiat's position as a historic pillar of Italian industry makes the issue of where to provide help sensitive, especially as Italy is the country worst hit by the virus so far. Both FCA and its controlling shareholder Exor, the investment firm of Italy's Agnelli family, have offered significant assistance to efforts to handle the crisis in Italy, where almost 6,000 people have died. FCA and luxury automaker Ferrari, also controlled by Exor, are in talks with Siare, Italy's biggest respirator manufacturer, to help it double production of the life-saving machines. In addition, the Agnelli family said last week it was donating 10 million euros to fight the virus emergency in Italy. It said companies controlled by Exor bought 150 ventilators and other medical equipment abroad, provided vehicles for support of people in need and were in touch with Italian authorities to help them buy medical equipment and healthcare products abroad. As part of the process, an Exor spokesman said on Tuesday the group had made an initial purchase of 250,000 face masks in China which would be distributed in Italy and were expected to arrive by the end of this week. Fiat announces special 500C GQ Edition [w/video]
Sat, 17 Aug 2013
The Fiat 500C may be a cool car, but it's never exactly exuded machismo - dare we say some may even consider it a "chick car?" Now, it looks like Fiat is trying to change this city car's image with the introduction of the 2014 Fiat 500C GQ Edition, a limited-production model geared toward male buyers.
Fiat has partnered with Condé Nast to develop this new cabrio version, which comes with "custom appointments that reflect an individual who always looks sharp, lives smart and finds freedom through the precision and turbocharged power of a driver's car." On the outside, these appointments include black 16-inch five-spoke wheels with red center caps, an athletic-looking front fascia with larger air intakes, and black headlamps. Inside, the GQ Edition includes GQ badging, specially designed sport seats, satin chrome accents, and Tungsten accent stitching. Underhood, the 500C GQ boasts a 1.4-liter, 160-horsepower MultiAir Turbo engine and five-speed manual transmission.
Fiat Chrysler’s Sergio Marchionne throws more cold water on Tesla, EVs
Tue, Oct 10 2017Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has once again sounded off on industry upstart Tesla and its wunderkind boss, Elon Musk. In the process, he doubled down on FCA's reluctance to follow its competitors headlong into electrifying its vehicle fleet, saying "we're not betting the bank on going fully electric in the next decade. It won't happen." Marchionne made his comments on Monday during remarks at the New York Stock Exchange, where he was marking the 70th anniversary of Ferrari. They come as Tesla struggles to ramp up production of its Model 3 sedan, its first mass-market offering, and the company continues to hemorrhage money. Here's what he said: "We still don't have a viable model for delivering an electric car. As much as I like Elon Musk, and he's a good friend, and actually he's done a phenomenal job of marketing Telsa, I remain unconvinced of a new economic viability of the model that he's pitching. So I think we need to be careful, because when we embrace electrification, and I made comments on the fact that we lose money on every Fiat 500, the electric that we sell in the U.S. Now that's reflective of the 2011-2010 costs in terms of components. Those costs have come down. If I were to do it again, I would certainly reduce the amount of the loss, but I would not make any money. And you can't run economic entities on losses. It doesn't happen. "So how do we find a convergence of technology bringing prices of components down and allows us to price accordingly — or we need to navigate through this process in a combined way between combustion and electrification to yield at least a minimum of economic returns that allows for our continuity? The last thing you want is me to be successful selling cars for 24 months and then go bust. That's not a good story. Especially in a place like this which rewards economic success. Let's not sit here and design our own future in the tank. Let's try and do it properly. We will do all the right things. We are investing without making a lot of noise on electrification. We will combine it with combustion to yield the right level of CO2. But we're not betting the bank on going fully electric in the next decade. It won't happen." It's not the first time Marchionne has publicly expressed doubts about Tesla's business plan.
