2012 Fiat Abarth / Nero (Metallic Black) finished with Rosso (Red) Leather Seats

Factory Options include 17" HyperBlack Wheels / Red Stripes & Mirrors / Bose Audio / Satellite Radio*

You are looking at a Like New 2012 Fiat Abarth finished in Nero (Black) with Rosso (Red) Leather Seats.  The car is in flawless condition and looks like it rolled off the showroom floor.  It has only 3k miles on the odometer.  These cars are incredibly fun to drive and are very spacious inside - more fun than Minis in my opinion and have way more of the "cool" factor.

The car has all the options you want in an Abarth and none you don't.  The 17" Wheels are an absolute must, especially in the aggressive HyperBlack finish, and the red mirror caps and stripe play off the red leather interior and red stiching of the shifter and steering wheel perfectly.  The black painted dash looks amazing and doesn't "stand out" like the other colors, which are matched to the exterior.  The interior has a luxuriously upscale feel and look to it, again unlike some of the other combos out there.  The Bose Audio system sounds amazing.

The car has no aftermarket modifications and is completely bone-stock as it came from the factory.  It's been stored in a temperature controlled garage and has never seen rain or snow.  Never been smoked in.  (still has new car scent)

Don't be fooled by the 2013s listed on eBay with NO OPTIONS and low prices that come with all kinds of stipulations!  Those cars have $22k list prices and require you to be a previous owner and all kinds of other nonsense including HIGH DEALER REGISTRATION & PAPERWORK FEES!

This is THE proper color combo for an Abarth (Black/Red leather).   This car is an attention-getter wherever it goes.  It's incredibly quick and much faster than it's 160HP motor would imply.  The sound these cars make is incredible.  There performance for such a small car is mind-blowing.  There is absolutely NO torque steer from the FWD platform.

WHY PAY HIGH DEALER FEES AND TAXES WHEN YOU CAN HAVE AN IDENTICAL CAR (NO DIFFERENCE FROM 2012 TO 2013) FOR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS LESS?

OVERALL CONDITION
The pictures represent a truly flawless automobile.  There is absolutely NO wear on the seats, bolsters, no knicks, scratches, dents.  There really isn't much to say other than the fact the car looks, feels, drives, and runs identical to a brand new one.  No accidents, no paintwork, no damage, no dings, no dents, nothing.   The new car smell is still fully intact.  There are no squeaks, rattles, shimmys, or anything wrong with the car whatsoever.  CLEAN CARFAX!

WHATS INCLUDED
Original Window Sticker, All books and book binder, original two "switchblade" keys, front plate bracket, (never mounted), Abarth Mats with Logo - basically everything you'd get from a dealer minus the hassle, aggravation, and taxes for a new one.

SERVICE HISTORY
I had the first service completed at 2800 miles at my local Abarth Studio (Morris County Fiat).  The car also had the factory recall/bulletin performed for reprogramming of the ECU to the 2013 model.

WARRANTY
The balance of the factory 4yr, 50k bumper-to-bumper warranty applies and will transfer to the new owner.

OTHER INFO
I'm a private seller, not a dealer, so I can't help with financing, but if you intend to purchase the car, please have your financing in order prior to committing or bidding.  The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.   NON-LOCAL BIDDERS - Shipping is your responsibility, however I will work with you to get the car where it needs to be within reason.  PPIs are OK (unnecessary but acceptable) but only after a mutually acceptable deal and deposit is made.

Serious purchasers / bidders only please.  I have the Title In Hand.  This is not a "firesale" or a situation where I need to or am willing to give the car away, so lowballers and wholesalers please don't waste your time.

If you have any questions, please ask prior to placing a bid.  My reserve is reasonable.  The car can be seen by appointment in Northern Morris County NJ.

* FIAT Factory (OEM) Satellite Radio Unit will be included with the sale.  I never had time to install it.  This is not an afternmarket or extra add-on - this is the FACTORY OEM head unit that replaces the existing non-satellite head unit.

FCA CEO Mike Manley will run Americas for Stellantis after PSA merger

Sun, Dec 20 2020

DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler CEO Mike Manley will run operations in the Americas when his company merges with FranceÂ’s PSA Peugeot early next year. FCA Chairman John Elkann announced ManleyÂ’s new post on Friday in a letter to employees. ManleyÂ’s role in the merged company had been a mystery. PSA CEO Carlos Tavares will run the overall company, to be named Stellantis. Shareholders of both companies will vote on the merger Jan. 4 to seal the deal creating the worldÂ’s fourth-largest automaker. The merger is expected to be completed by the end of March. PSA will get six seats on the new companyÂ’s 11-member board, which will be chaired by Elkann. The Americas, especially the U.S., are key to the new companyÂ’s success. Fiat ChryslerÂ’s Jeep and Ram brands are highly profitable, and Tavares has long wanted to sell PSA vehicles in the U.S. Manley has been the Italian-American automakerÂ’s CEO for 2 1/2 years, taking over when Sergio Marchionne died in 2018. Stellantis will have the capacity to produce 8.7 million cars a year, just behind Volkswagen, the Renault-Nissan alliance and Toyota. 2023 Fiat 500e First Drive Review: A European preview

Thu, Mar 9 2023

TURIN, Italy – AmericaÂ’s relationship with the Fiat 500 has been rocky at best. Skimming over the original, pre-war model, the second-generation 500 (the one with a rear-mounted engine) was briefly sold here with funky headlights that stuck out from the front end like a bugÂ’s eyes. Small and underpowered, though a tremendous amount of fun to drive in its own way, it didnÂ’t catch on and moseyed out of our market after a few short years. The third-generation 500 spearheaded FiatÂ’s return to the United States when it disembarked here in 2012. It sold as well as you can expect a European-flavored subcompact hatchback to sell in the Ford F-150Â’s bastion and bowed out in 2019, though itÂ’s still sold across the pond alongside its intended successor. That would be the fourth-generation 500, unveiled in 2020, which kept the retro design but went electric-only. Sales in the United States are scheduled to start in early 2024, meaning the cheeky hatchback will be about four years old by the time it turns a wheel on American pavement. Is it worth the wait? I traveled to FiatÂ’s home town of Turin in northern Italy to get a better idea of what makes this fun-sized EV buzz. ThereÂ’s one point I need to address right off the bat: what you see in our gallery isnÂ’t exactly what youÂ’ll get when the new 500 rolls into American showrooms with an “e” attached to the end of its name. Fiat hasnÂ’t detailed the American-market model yet, but itÂ’s reasonable to assume most of the changes will be found on the specifications sheet and on the list of standard and optional equipment. Fiat canÂ’t take a European-market car and ship it here unchanged, but IÂ’m not expecting significant updates to the exterior or interior design — nothing suggests it will morph into an outdoorsy four-door crossover. Speaking of design, itÂ’s been the 500Â’s main selling point since the last-generation model made its debut in 2007 so FiatÂ’s edits were pretty light. IÂ’d guess someone who isnÂ’t up to date with whatÂ’s happening on car planet might not realize that theyÂ’re looking at a new 500, and thatÂ’s intentional. Still unabashedly retro, the model stands out from its predecessor with a new-look front end that features two-piece LED headlights and a big “500” emblem, bright beltline trim and a more chiseled hatch.

Fiat 500X gets up close and personal

Tue, 05 Aug 2014

Jeep's introduction of the Renegade just months ago at the Geneva Motor Show took the brand into new territory. Not only is it smaller than anything else Jeep makes, but it's also the first Jeep to be made outside of North America. But the Renegade is only half the equation.
Based on the same platform but with a much more rounded appearance will be a new Fiat crossover (at least tentatively) dubbed the 500X. Expected to arrive later this year, the 500X will replace the discontinued Suzuki-based Sedici and join the existing 500 hatchback, 500C convertible and 500L in Fiat's growing family of Cinquecento-themed models.
Pictured here in the latest batch of spy shots (sent to our photog by a sharp-eyed civilian, hence the slight quality issues), we can see the heavily disguised prototype up close, both inside and out. From the outside you can discern a much bubblier shape and rounded details than the Renegade, while the interior (apart from all the loose wires and warning signs) looks to adopt similar cues to the existing 500 family members, from the color-keyed dashboard panel to the rounded switchgear.
