I'm about to move and need to sell my 2012 Fiat 500 sport. I'll try and mention every possible detail but feel free to ask questions. This is fantastic little car that gets great gas mileage, is built very solidly, handles great, fits into small parking spots, and is a looker. Mechanical: Everything works. There is nothing that needs any repairs. This car sounds, drives and works like new. I just had it inspected as well (07/2014) Exterior: The car has never been in an any accidents and has been garage kept for about 30% of it's life. It has a few little nicks and small scratches and I have tried to show them all in the photos. All are minor. There is a scratch on the front fender, a couple little scratches on the rear bumper, a small dent behind the passenger door that isn't even noticeable. That's it. Interior: Besides a little wear on the driver side floor mat, there is no damage or even signs of wear inside the car. It has been very well taken care off inside and out. Features: Power everything, 16 inch Alloy wheels, Sunroof with shade, Bluetooth, Factory BOSE speakers and amp, Leather seats, Hill Assist, Cd player, MP3 player and plug, Cruise Control, Fog lights, Sport Mode,etc... Some details: 1) I am the second owner of the car and have owned it since Summer 2013 when I bought it with 14,000 miles 2) I have treated the car with great care and have all maintenance records since I bought it. 3) The car is being financed but the document transfer is very simple process. I will set it up. 4) Any and all additional fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer 5) I will agree to deliver the car within a reasonable distance, further for a fee possibly, please contact me with questions. 6) All work/maintenance while I owned the car was done by a certified Fiat dealership So basically this car is in fantastic shape, looks great and is priced to sell since I need to get rid of it before I move. Thank you for looking and feel free to ask any questions. Although the asking price is pretty solid, I will consider all serious offers. |

Trump is pleased with FCA's investment in Michigan and Ohio, but it wasn't done for him
Mon, Jan 9 2017Fiat Chrysler announced yesterday that it would be spending $1 billion on vehicle production in both Michigan and Ohio. The company estimates that its investment will yield about 2,000 jobs between both states. In addition to attracting our attention, it caught the gaze of President-elect Donald Trump, who tweeted praise to both FCA and the Ford Motor Company. He praised the latter for the company's move to cancel a new factory in Mexico. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Trump's writing also seems to imply he deserves a certain amount of credit for these shifts to American production. However, as Sergio Marchionne, CEO of FCA, explained to the press in a conference today, Trump and his impending administration had nothing to do with the decision. He said the decision to invest in the plants in Michigan and Ohio were in place well before Trump was going to be the President of the United States. In addition, he said that FCA has not been in contact with Trump or any of his colleagues regarding the decision. Marchionne also stated that neither he nor the company was making any preemptive plans for manufacturing locations the light of the upcoming Trump presidency. Rather, he said that the company will change to address regulations that are actually passed, and the only way the company could change plans ahead of new laws or taxes would be with more information and clarity. We assume that a "big border tax" isn't specific enough. Still, the fact that automakers are going out of their way to make and clarify announcements about manufacturing illustrates the massive attention Trump brings with every Tweet. Feds accuse Fiat Chrysler, UAW of conspiring to break labor laws
Wed, Jun 13 2018DETROIT — Top officials of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the United Auto Workers union conspired to violate U.S. labor laws, federal prosecutors alleged in a court document, saying a former executive at the automaker knew bribes paid to union leaders were designed to "grease the skids" in labor negotiations. U.S. Justice Department officials for the first time called the company and the union "co-conspirators" in a document related to a guilty plea agreed by former Fiat Chrysler director of employee relations Michael Brown. The document was filed with the U.S. District Court in Detroit on May 25. Its contents were reported by the Detroit News on Wednesday. Brown pleaded guilty to one count of concealing a felony. The plea agreement stated that he knew Fiat Chrysler executives authorized $1.5 million in improper payments and travel, liquor, cigars and other goods for UAW officials who served on the union's negotiating committee. Prosecutors say FCA executives paid UAW representatives to influence union business. including collective bargaining on contracts ratified in 2011 and 2015. The government contends money was run through the UAW-Chrysler National Training Center, via false charitable donations and training center credit cards. Fiat Chrysler Chief Executive Officer Sergio Marchionne has said in the past that the misconduct "had nothing whatsoever to do with the collective bargaining process" and the "egregious acts were neither known to nor sanctioned" by the company. Fiat Chrysler had no further comment Monday. Outgoing UAW President Dennis Williams told union leaders at a conference in Detroit on Monday "our leadership team had no knowledge of the misconduct — which involved former union members and former auto executives — until it was brought to our attention by the government." Brown pleaded guilty on May 25, according to court documents, and will be sentenced on Sept. 20. Five other people have pleaded guilty in the government's ongoing investigation into the UAW and Fiat Chrysler, including the wife of a late UAW official, two other former UAW employees, former Fiat Chrysler vice president Alphons Iacobelli and another former Fiat Chrysler employee. Fiat Chrysler picks Google, Samsung for global connected car system
Tue, Apr 30 2019DETROIT — Fiat Chrysler said on Tuesday it will use technology from Alphabet Inc's Google and Samsung to connect all its vehicles by 2022, providing music and video and facilitating future car-sharing and self-driving capabilities. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (FCA) will use Google's Android operating system globally instead of a mixture of software that varies by region, a spokesman said. The automaker will also use a cloud-based digital platform from Samsung Electronics Co Ltd's Harman unit. Unlike its rivals General Motors and Ford, FCA has spent virtually nothing on developing self-driving vehicle technology. This saves the company large amounts of money, but makes it reliant on outside parties to provide technology and systems. FCA said it will launch the new capabilities in the second half of 2019. The company said the system will aid owners "by predicting maintenance needs, locating fuel and charging stations, receiving traffic prompts and restaurant offers and providing live customer-care assistance at the push of the button."
