1966 Fiat 500 Gamine by Vignale

There were less than 300 of these cars built and very few of these are left in existence,                                                                                                                                                                                                             especially in this type of condition. This car received a full nut and bolt restoration about                                                                                                                                                                                                           6 years ago.

This car has a 500cc, two cylinder air cooled gasoline engine with a 4 speed gearbox.
The car starts easily and runs well.  It is painted red and the interior is tan with red piping.                                                                                                                                                                                                         A black tonneau is included.

There are a couple of tiny chips and small paint drips, and a slight buckling of the glove                                                                                                                                                                                                     compartment door, all easily repaired and truly don’t stick out.  You can see everything
in the pictures.

2020 Fiat 124 Spider Abarth gets ‘Scorpion Sting' appearance package

Wed, Sep 18 2019

There’s currently a cloud of uncertainty surrounding much of the Fiat lineup, and especially the 124 Spider after the brandÂ’s CEO, Olivier Francois, was recently quoted as saying that FiatÂ’s sporty cars “have no legitimacy” and the brand needs to focus elsewhere in the future. It recently pulled the convertible from the U.K., and through the first six months of the year here in the U.S., it had sold a mere 1,528 models, down 19%. (Fun fact: for the first half of 2019, the entire brand sold just 5,103 models, down 38% from the prior year.) But forget all that for now, because Fiat is in denial celebration mode, marking the brandÂ’s 120th anniversary and the 70th anniversary of its Abarth performance sub-brand. To commemorate the occasion, Fiat is offering a “Scorpion Sting” appearance package on the 2020 model-year 124 Spider Abarth. Most prominent is the rosso scorpion hood decal that harkens to the Abarth badge and founder Karl AbarthÂ’s astrological sign. There are also nifty stripes in the same color that run along the length of the roadsterÂ’s lower body. It's available now for $395, and that pretty much wraps it up. Fiat re-introduced the 124 Spider at the L.A. Auto Show in 2015 as a car based on the Mazda MX-5 MiataÂ’s platform, but with its own Italian design and the 1.4-liter turbo-four engine from the 500 Abarth, offering 164 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Fiat added new options for the roadster for 2019, including a dual-mode “Record Monza Exhaust” for added growl, plus various appearance packages.

The Fiat 500 Cult celebrates the little car's success with a new top model

Thu, 06 Mar 2014

The Fiat 500 has proved to be a huge success since first being introduced in 2007. In that time, Fiat claims that it has sold over 1.2 million units worldwide. For the 2014 model, the Italians are celebrating with a new top-spec version called the 500 Cult at the Geneva Motor Show, but it likely will be limited to the European market.
The Cult is available as both a hatchback and convertible and each receive their own, unique color. The coupe is available in a light mint green called Lattementa Green that recalls the 500s from the 1960s, and the convertible is offered in Three-layer White. Both models get gloss black trim around the taillights, and the bumperettes and tailgate handles are finished in chrome. Buyers can choose between black or chrome trim for the door mirrors, both presenting a very retro look.
Inside, the Cult gets standard leather and a dashboard painted the same color as the body. A new 7-inch TFT display sits in the middle of the instrument cluster, which manages the media player, telephone, trip computer and displays warning messages. Automatic climate control and rear parking sensors are standard, and coupes get a sunroof.

Jolly time: Fiat's Spiaggina concept honors the 1958 beach classic

Fri, Jul 6 2018

You're looking at one of the coolest Fiat concepts of recent years. Built to honor the 60 th anniversary of the original Fiat Jolly, or "Spiaggina," the 500 Spiaggina Concept is a lovely little bathtub of a Fiat with cork floors. There's just the tiniest vestigial aero screen left to remind us that the 500 does originally come with a roof structure, and the triangles of the cut-down A-pillars are just tall enough to house small speakers, above the now blue-white dashboard. For structural rigidity's sake, and to protect the occupants in a rollover situation, there's a white hoop towering above the seatbacks, but mostly it just makes the car look more like a plastic coolbox. And very cool it is, as it looks like the perfect thing for driving to a Mediterranean beach — it even comes complete with a shower so one can get rid of excess sand. And of course it's a manual: The dashboard-mounted gearshift leaves room for the full-width bench seat that has taken the place of regular buckets. The rear seats are no more, as the rear end of the car has been dedicated for storage, complete with a fold-down tailgate. The whitewall tires exaggerate the wheels to a great effect, as the retro wheels now look like there's just the slightest rubber band around them. The Spiaggina concept has been created by Garage Italia, which is run by Fiat heir Lapo Elkann. Pininfarina has also been involved with the concept, even if the original wicker-work Jolly was built by Carrozzeria Ghia instead. While the completely open Spiaggina will remain a flight of fancy and a one-off, it will actually spawn a production version, albeit a tamer one. There will be a matching "Volare Blue" convertible production version called the Spiaggina '58, which will retain the roof structure and the folding roof of the stock convertible. It's good, but it's not cut-down, cork-floored concept good; 1,958 cars will be made. Related Video:
