1986 Ferrari Mondial 3.2 Cabriolet ******no Reserve****** on 2040-cars
Brentwood, Tennessee, United States
Car is all original and very clean. Only 48,000 miles. I bought it from the second
owner who had it for 7 years. This is becoming a more and more desired model
given they’re one of the more bullet proof, dependable Ferraris and are relatively easy to
work on (engine doesn’t need to be removed for services); not to mention
they’re rare. Hard to beat the sound, the
style, the handling……I get questions/looks every place I take it. ·
Original Red (Corso Rosso) exterior and black
(Nero) leather interior ·
Original paint – never touched up. Has some minor / few rock chips on the
aluminum front hood deck fin….again, very minor but wanted to fully disclose. ·
Runs / starts extremely well. Sounds incredible.
Handling is great. ·
Had the "major" Ferrari service 7,000
miles ago (full tune up, water pump, fuel filters, timing belts, hoses, and
more) so wont need another major until 60k ·
Interior very nice....seats flawless, dash
flawless, all electronics work ·
AC blows cold, heater blows hot ·
Has Denon AM/FM cassette stereo system with 6 disc changer ·
Includes full size spare with matching OEM
wheel · Full Ferrari took kit ·
Service records; parts records ·
Owners manual, Shop manual, Parts manual ·
Extra oil filter ·
Tonneau cover that covers the interior area ·
Beverly Hills custom fit full car cover ·
Upgraded aluminum pedals ·
Convertible top is perfect and rear window is
clear (not yellowed) ·
Includes boot for when top is down · Michelin TRX tires have about 400 miles on them · I just installed a new and redesigned GT Car Parts fuesebox. The boxes in the 328, 308, Mondials and some others are the one weakness in these cars. It was showing signs of corrosion and delamination, so I replaced. · Also installed a new Optima Red Top battery - the best I could get. · And, I have two new cam belts and two new Hill Engineering tensioner bearings - the key maintenance items on these machines. These were just replaced 7,000 miles ago......but due to time, could be installed. Its very easy to do and involves only removing the right rear wheel - the engines in the Mondials do not need to be removed for services. If I find some time in the near future, I will do it.....but with travel and family, unlikely. I can provide a tutorial with pictures if needed. So this car is top notch and ready to drive....needs not a thing. NADA average retail is $34,500 and high retail is $39,900 – before any low mileage adjust. Car needs nothing at all. Title is clear and clean with no liens.
Potential for PARTIAL trades plus cash. Welcome to bring a mechanic by. Welcome to view the car in person before
bidding/buying. Test drives offered with
cash/cashiers check in hand. Immediate $500 pay pal deposit due upon winning bid. I will work with shippers. If no bids are received during listing, I reserve right to end the listing early since I will be offering it locally to some club members and co-workers. I also have an offer from a local dealer on taking a vehicle plus cash from him, which I might entertain.

Ferrari FF pitted against Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser in crazy Generation Gap comparison
Thu, 13 Nov 2014The folks behind Generation Gap have lost their minds with this latest video. The goal here is to determine the ultimate family cruiser, but the choices are what you would least expect, with a heavily modded 1970 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser going up against a 2012 Ferrari FF.
You might anticipate an over-40-year-old Oldsmobile to pale in comparison to any modern Ferrari, but this wagon has a ton of secrets under its skin thanks to Lingenfelter. First, it packs a supercharged LS3 V8 with a claimed 650 horsepower and a six-speed manual gearbox. That big upgrade in power is further helped with air suspension and massive Wilwood disc brakes. The result is nothing short of deafening, with blaring yelps whenever the driver even nudges the accelerator.
The alternative sounds just as good, albeit in very different way. The Ferrari's 6.3-liter V12 pumps out 651 hp and 504 pound-feet with a part-time all-wheel drive system. While the FF lacks a lot of the hauling ability of the Olds, it makes up for the deficit in handling, luxury, and in many eyes, simply by having the famous prancing horse on the grille.
This '61 Ferrari 250 GT SWB could be yours for eight figures
Tue, Apr 5 2016The 250 GT SWB Berlinetta ranks among the most desirable of Ferraris, and this one has been under the same ownership for the last 47 years. Now it's coming up for auction. Chassis No. 2917GT served as the Prancing Horse marque's centerpiece at the 1961 Paris Motor Show, where it was displayed in light blue. Its first owner, however, only owned black cars, so he had it repainted. It changed hands a few times over the years, and was repainted in classic red somewhere along the way. That's the color it remains today. Its current owner is described as a well-regarded collector living in the Brittany region of France and has reportedly taken exceptional care of it, driving it regularly and bringing in the best mechanics to service it. But after nearly half a century in his care, he's letting it go. Artcurial will be handling its sale during the Le Mans Classic on July 9. We're waiting on word regarding how much the auction house expects it to sell for, but the records at Sports Car Market have similar examples selling in the past couple of years for upwards of $10 million. Given the apparent condition of this particular specimen, we don't doubt that it'll fetch top dollar. THE EX-PARIS MOTOR SHOW 1961 FERRARI 250 GT SWB BERLINETTA IN SAME OWNERSHIP FOR 47 YEARS – LE MANS CLASSIC, SALE 9 JULY 2016 – Paris – Artcurial Motorcars has raised its international profile in recent years by offering some of the world's rarest and most valuable cars at auction. The top ten most expensive cars ever to sell at auction include two cars from each of Artcurial Motorcars' last two Retromobile sales: the ex-Bardinon 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti that sold on 5 February 2016 for 32.1Mˆ / 35.7M$ – a world record price (in ˆ and GBP) for a car sold at auction – and the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider from the Baillon Collection that fetched ˆ16.3M / 18.5M on 6 February 2015. Artcurial Motorcars is also known for consigning important cars that are new to the market, a key feature of the star car in the next sale at Le Mans Classic on 9 July. The 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta #2917GT has been in the hands of the present owner some 47 years, and has had just five owners from new. This remarkable car was displayed new at the 1961 Paris Motor Show, presented in a light blue Azzuro.
Electro super star Deadmau5 selling kitty-themed Ferrari 458
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Are you a huge fan a electronic dance music, Internet memes, and in the market for a customized Ferrari? Then today is your lucky day. EDM star Deadmau5, real name Joel Zimmerman, is selling his Ferrari 458 Spider on Craigslist. He calls it the Purrari, and it features a full-body wrap of the eight-bit Nyan Cat, pink brake calipers, prancing cat logos, a Purrari emblem 6,500 miles on the odometer. It's currently located in Toronto, Canada, with an asking price of $380,000. Any amount offered over that is being donated to the Toronto Humane Society.
In addition to the car, the buyer gets an iPod full of "nyancat songs" and a meeting with Zimmerman to say goodbye to his Purrari over a cup of coffee. If you're not in the Toronto area, he is willing to ship the feline automobile anywhere in North America. Obviously, a blue, cat-themed Ferrari isn't to everyone's taste, so Zimmerman can remove the wrap at the buyer's request... though he won't be happy about it.
If you're curious why Zimmerman would sell such a personalized item, it appears a new supercar has his eye now. On May 28, he tweeted about driving a McLaren 650S and announced the Purrari would go up for sale soon. We can only imagine what theme his next ride gets.
