1985 Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet Black with a tan interior. 47,000 miles.  Fuel injected V-8 3 liter motor with four valves per cylinder, this is the same engine that is in the very famous and well loved Ferrari 308 series, it is  fitted to a  5 speed transmission, the car drives nicely and sounds wonderful. I have owned this car about 7 years,in that time I put a few hundred miles on it, while I did not use it a lot, I made sure to regularly exercise the car so it would not sit around. I had a major service performed when I got the car and then last year I had a friend replace the timing belts since the major was still fresh and the belts were due time wise. The car runs great, the windows all work, it is a wonderful driving example of the Ferrari Mondial Convertible. The paint shows very nicely  and looks great. The seat leather is dried  and there are some cracks in the seats, I just put  seat covers on them and it was fine with me. The mileage on the car fax report shows a discrepancy it didn't bother me because the car ran so well and with the exception of the seat leather it is a nice car. Black is the best color for this model Mondial, the black paint matches the black bumpers so they do not appear to stick out as they do with other colors.

Car is located in northwestern Connecticut about 75 miles north of New York City. This is how you go camping with a Ferrari F40 in the snow

Wed, Mar 30 2016

If any of the Autoblog staff owned a Ferrari F40, we would drive it as much as possible anywhere we could. However, this clip from Red Bull shows an F40 owner who takes that idea to the extreme by taking the iconic supercar on a camping trip up a ski slope in Japan. The result is stupendous. The driver straps his luggage to the roof, and the bank of lights on the front provides plenty of illumination when the sun goes down. Slide a surf rock cassette into the player (remember the F40 is a product of the late '80s), and it's time to hit the road. Once the snow becomes an issue, the guy puts chains on the tires, and he enjoys some beautiful drifts up the mountain. Ferrari likely never imagined that someone would drive an F40 up a ski slope to go camping. However, this clip shows the supercar can do that just as well as clicking off fast lap times around a track. We love seeing an F40 showing its amazing performance no matter what the environment. LaFerrari XX to pack 1,050 hp

Wed, 12 Nov 2014

With 949 horsepower on tap, it would be hard to imagine Ferrari getting much more juice out of the 6.3-liter V12 hybrid powering its LaFerrari. But apparently, it's possible, as reports suggest that the forthcoming LaFerrari XX will pack somewhere closer to 1,050 hp.
This according to Top Gear, which reports that the successor to the Enzo-based FXX and the subsequent 599XX will be revealed next month in Abu Dhabi at the company's year-end Finale Mondiali extravaganza - the same event where, in years past, Ferrari has presented such extreme machines as the 458 Challenge Evoluzione, the aforementioned 599XX and the FXX Evoluzione.
When the subject of a LaFerrari XX first came up several months ago, Antonello Coletta - head of the department responsible for the XX program - said he couldn't picture the track version of the company's flagship hybrid hypercar being much faster or more powerful than the existing version. But where there's a will, there's a way. TG reports that the extra hundred horses have been corralled in the V12 and not in the electric motor, which will reportedly carry over essentially unchanged from the road-going model.

LaFerrari gets shakedown from Fernando Alonso

Fri, 09 Aug 2013

Fernando Alonso is quite cool behind the wheel, as evidenced by an earlier video where he gave a full interview while actively hooning a Ferrari F12 around the Nürburgring. So when you see the Spaniard somber-faced and sweating while hustling a Ferrari LaFerrari around the Scuderia's Fiorano test track, you know the new hypercar is pretty demanding.
Alonso doesn't give commentary on this one (except to the engineers at the end), but he does wrestle the 949-horsepower hybrid around the track. It does look like a handful. Take a look below for the full video.
