2007 599 GTB Fiorano F1 Grigio Silverstone Exterior/ Bordeaux Interior only 2,500 actual miles: Original MSRP was 338,777 which did not include over 30K in upgrades I have added. It has 17+ Factory options which I will list below..
In April of 2011 I had a FULL service completed at an authorized Ferrari dealership which included:
Complete fluid change( Oil+ filter,anti-freeze,differential,F-1 trans,Brake fluid.,Power steering,air and interior filters) .cost=$1,137.00
In April 2011 I had my Ferrari dealer install the handling portion of the HGTE kit installed.. The kit consists of the following:
A) Stiffer front and rear springs.B) stiffer rear sway bar. C) New recalibrated ECU for shocks. D) HGTE rims: The front wheels are a half-inch wider than on the standard 599 GTB but keep the same 245/45ZR20 tire size. The rear wheels and 305/35ZR20 tire size remain the same as on the standard model. Tire compound is 12-15% stickier. Together, a half-degree more of negative camber and a stickier compound for the Pirelli P Zero tires increases front cornering grip. To maintain handling balance with the added front-wheel grip, Ferrari increased the rear suspension antiroll bar diameter to 24.5 mm. Five-spoke 20-inch modular wheels reduce unsprung weight by 11 pounds. cost = $20 ,000.00+
I also had my dealer install skid plates to protect from front valance scrapes as the car is lowered slightly with the kit. The secondary cats were removed and replaced with Fabspeed straight pipes so now it sounds like a V-12 Ferrari should,lol...There is NO drone and they are not obnoxiously loud.cost=$2,700.00
Other additions:
Custom floormats= $400.00
I had the mirrors, exterior door handles and interior vent rings all done with a carbon fiber overlay by MaCarbon. They look beautiful(see the pics)and Ferrari CF centercaps on the wheels total cost = $5,000.00+
I had the spokes of the HGTE wheels painted the same color as the car Grigio Silverstone at a cost of over $800.00.
I have every and all parts removed except for the carbon parts which are my original parts.Original wheels(Pentastar) and tires have only 1.5K miles on them.ALL parts replaced by the FERRARI HGTE package included.

Ferrari 612 Scaglietti gets the shooting brake treatment
Tue, Jun 11 2019As much as we love shooting brakes, since they're basically two-door wagons, the world clearly isn't willing to buy them. Most remain concepts or just designs. But someone took up Dutch coachbuilder Vandenbrink on its design for a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti shooting brake. The company finished the car this year, and the results are impressive. The shooting brake's roof fits the existing roofline of the Ferrari well, and the car's signature wide haunches haven't been hidden. The hatchback also looks like Ferrari included it from the beginning, making the car look like a precursor to the FF and GTC4Lusso. The skylights in the roof are also fascinating, and they surely make the rear seats less claustrophobic. Vandenbrink's choice of the 612 Scaglietti is a good one, too, even if it was partly dictated by the fact the company penned this design over a decade ago. It's a classic grand touring car designed to be fast but comfortable. Its large size, particularly its prominent prow, suits a long-roof design, too. The one part we slightly question are the rear pillars, which even with some creases to break them up, look a bit large and out of place. This is currently the only example of the 612 shooting brake, but Vandenbrink is happy to build additional cars on request. The company says it will work with buyers every step of the way to make sure their example is customized exactly as they wish, from the paint to the equipment. Vandenbrink even suggests it could make one geared toward horse riding or falconry. There's no price for the vehicle, though, which is probably due to the fact that each one will be custom ordered and the cost will vary. And this is undoubtedly a car you can't afford if you have to ask the price. Vandenbrink is also happy to create one of a few other sports cars, such as a roadster version of the 599 GTB Fiorano. All you have to do is ask and bring tons of money.
Ferrari Lusso ownership will add some time to your morning commute
Fri, 19 Apr 2013If you've ever driven a vintage vehicle on a regular basis, you know the process from getting from point A to point B is a bit more convoluted than simply hopping in and going. There are rituals to observe, checklists to run through and processes to address before ever touching the ignition. Neglect any one of a number of small tasks and you're likely to find yourself on the side of the road. James Chen, the owner of Axis Wheels, knows all about that. You see, he owns a gorgeous Ferrari Lusso, and coaxing the V12 under the hood to life requires a certain amount of procedure.
Once it's rolling, of course, all that premeditation seems entirely worth the effort. Chen does his best to keep the machine out of traffic, but refuses to keep the coupe sealed away in a museum, so he gets up early and takes to the canyon roads around LA before anyone else is awake. Atta boy.

Michael Schumacher documentary is in the works
Tue, May 14 2019A documentary chronicling Formula One legend Michael Schumacher is in the works and will be released Dec. 5 in Europe. The film, "Schumacher," is being made to tell the racing driver's story. Schumacher is widely regarded as the greatest Formula One driver of all time with his seven world championships. He raced from 1991 to 2006, and then again from 2010 to 2012. His early years were spent at Benetton before he joined Ferrari for the majority of his career. The last few seasons were spent with Mercedes-Benz. Unfortunately, just a year after walking away from the sport, he suffered a head injury while skiing. The injury left him in an induced coma, from which he is still recovering. Schumacher has not been seen in public and will reportedly not be seen in this film, but it will feature interviews with his family, including his wife, Corinna. Never-before-seen archival footage will also be featured. However, his current health condition will not be addressed. In nearly six years since the accident, Schumacher's recovery has been handled quietly. Neither family nor friends have made public comments concerning his condition. A trailer is set to be shown in Cannes at the Marche du Film event that begins May 14 and goes until May 23. Schumacher turned 50 years old this year, and this will also be the 25th anniversary of his first World Championship victory with Benetton. It's unclear when and where folks in the U.S. will be able to watch the film, but an American release is expected shortly after Europe — early 2020 is the target for now.
