** UNDER FULL FACTORY FERRARI WARRANTY WITH OVER 1 YEAR REMAINING  ** ONLY 1 OWNER PRIOR TO ME (AUTOCHECK INACCURATE) **

Information about Ferrari Certification can be found here:  http://www.ferrari.com/english/ferrari_approved/programme/Pages/programme.aspx

Finished in Daytona Nero with Chocolate Diamond Stitched Leather & Yellow Deviated Stitching & Black Carpets with 20" Smoked Forged Alloys.  The combination is unique and very sophisticated - unlike the droves of black, tan, and grey interior colors out there.  This car was originally spec'd by a longtime Ferrari collector with discerning taste.  It has all the options you want and none you don't.  It is truly a flawless automobile.  An amazing, understated yet classy and tasteful combination.  Pairs perfectly with Daytona Nero exterior.   This car has won numerous awards for "Best in Show" for the combination.  (these awards will be included with sale).   Yellow stitching plays off the yellow Ferrari emblem and yellow calipers perfectly.  Daytona Nero has incredible paint depth and looks amazing, especially in sunlight.

The car is in immaculate, showroom condition.  1 owner for a majority of it's life.  I've only owned the car briefly and purchased through dealer from the original owner.  Full Factory Warranty still in effect and valid for over 1 more year!!  Production date of July 2010.  The car was washed and covered after each and every drive and stored in a temperature controlled garage it's entire life.  It has covered only 6900 miles since it was delivered from the Factory.  Ferrari Certification took place in April of 2013, and along with it came a full service, including alignment.  Ferrari Certification plus Full Factory Service cost over $10,000.

** ALL SERVICE RECORDS, BOOKS, BOTH SETS OF KEYS, CAR AND SEAT COVERS, BAG, AND ORIGINAL FERRARI CHARGER INCLUDED **

The car is completely bone stock, as it came from Maranello.  No aftermarket modifications (i.e. radar detectors, stereo upgrades, etc) other than a Clear-Bra and Ferrari Skid Plates have been installed.

NOTE:  Car only has 1 owner prior to me!   (AutoCheck is inaccurate)

1964 Ferrari 250 LM sets Arizona auction record at $9.6 million [w/video]

Mon, Jan 19 2015

We've seen some high-priced metal come up under the hammer in Arizona over the years, but the one you're looking at right here is the most expensive ever sold during the famous auction weekend. It's a Ferrari 250 Le Mans from 1964, the ninth of just 32 examples made. And RM Auctions just sold it for $9,625,000. That doesn't make it the most expensive Ferrari ever sold at auction, or even the top price paid for a 250 LM: according to figures from Sports Car Market, the same auction house has handled the top five highest-grossing 250 LMs of all time, including the 1965 Le Mans winner that sold in New York in 2013 for $14.3 million and another that sold last August in Monterey for $11.5 million. But it does make this example, according to RM, "the most valuable automobile sold in Arizona auction history." One of the earliest mid-engined Ferraris, the 250 LM was the last of Maranello's Le Mans winners. This particular example, chassis number 5899 GT, was sold by the factory to the famed Swiss racing team Scuderia Filipinetti, winning the Sierre-Montana Crans Hill Climb fresh out the box, followed immediately by another win at the XV Coppa Inter-Europa at Monza – both at the hands of Ferrari F1 and Le Mans drivers. After Filipinetti was done with it, 5899 GT was displayed at the Geneva Motor Show, was sold off the stand and changed hands a few more times – including one owner who oddly replaced the bodywork with that of a Porsche 906 Carrera 6 and another who swapped out the engine. It went on to win many more races, and was ultimately reunited with its original engine and proper bodywork. Restored several times over, 5899 GT was certified ten years ago by the Ferrari Classiche department and was even displayed at the factory museum in Maranello. The 250 LM wasn't the only noteworthy lot RM sold this weekend in the Frank Lloyd Wright Ballroom at the Arizona Biltmore, though. Several other Ferraris sold in the millions, from a '67 275 GTB/4 that sold for $3.6 million to a 2005 FXX Evoluzione for $1.6 million. The '71 Lamborghini Miura SVJ that was tipped to break the $2-million mark ultimately sold for under $1.9M, and the '84 Audi Sport Quattro ultimately dropped right in its estimate range at $401,500. All told, RM sold 90 percent of the metal it was consigned for the event, bringing in a whopping $63.7 million in sales. This content is hosted by a third party. This computer-generated Ferrari 250 GTO carved from marble rocks

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

The Ferrari 250 GTO ranks as perhaps the most valuable production car ever made. In just the past two years, units of the ultimate '60s sports car have sold for $32 million, $35 million and maybe as high as $52 million. With just 39 of them ever assembled, these Ferrari owners are among a rarefied class of an already top-tier class of car collectors. So once you collect the ultimate car, then what do you do? How about buy a scale model of it hewn from a single block of Arabescato marble by stone specialist Lapicida?
Interestingly, no sculptor developed a leathery callouses on his or her hands over the hundreds of man hours surely necessary to create this work of art, nor were dozens of hand tools worn to the nub in the pursuit of this homage to Italian performance. To create the 1:3.6 replica of a 1962/1963 GTO, Lapicida simply laser-scanned an actual GTO and fine-tuned the resulting data in 3D modeling software. Then, the file was sent to a computer-controlled, five-axis mill to shape the marble, which was selected because the veining gave the illusion of speed. Finally, it was hand-finished to make sure the details were as crisp as possible. The completed model measures 47.2-inches long, 18.1-inches wide and 13.4-inches tall and retails for a tidy £30,000 - over $49,000 USD.
Impressive though it may be, it seems hard to imagine spending that sort of money on a car that you can't sit in or drive down the road. Then again, if you can afford to own a real 250 GTO, it's barely pocket change. Lapicida also takes commissions, so if you want a marble model of your car, they're happy to do it. Then again, if you just need your foyer retiled or your personal chef's is demanding an upgraded kitchen, they'll do that, too. Scroll down to get the full details on the model.

Former Top Gear crew starts filming for Amazon show

Wed, Oct 7 2015

We might have only a hint at the name and no exact date for a premiere, but fans can celebrate that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May are filming once again. Plus, it looks like every cent of Amazon's reportedly lavish budget is being put on the screen. A photo tweeted by Clarkson shows the three hosts standing proudly in front of a Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari LaFerrari, and McLaren P1 at a racetrack. Clarkson jokes that the show has just a "skeleton crew" but behind him stand several dozen people, a sophisticated-looking camera rig, and two big trucks. This definitely looks worth the anticipation of the premiere on Amazon Prime next fall. Hammond tweeted the same picture and wrote: "The band is back together and it feels brilliant." This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Intriguingly, it appears that fellow British auto journalist Chris Harris is currently filming at the same track. He tweeted a photo to Clarkson of the McLaren doing a very smoky slide, while being followed by the other two hypercars. The Porsches in both photos wear the same red-and-white number 3 livery and have the same license plate number. In a later message, Harris was also clear that he wasn't filming there in connection with the trio's Amazon show. This content is hosted by a third party.
