Thank you for viewing and welcome to this private sale for this stunning 2000 Ferrari 456MGT.

This is one of less than 700 456 M's (Modificata or Modified) produced with the 6 speed manual transmission.  Modificata models began production in 1998 and included a new stylish front end, interior and more importantly a performance enhancement to the already very powerful V12, for a total of 442HP.  In its time this was the fastest four passenger production car on the road and with a price tag of nearly $250K, it was the ultimate in luxury sport cars too.

This particular 2 owner 456 (same owner for last 8 years) has been meticulously maintained. Having been garaged kept the original paint still shines beautifully.  In addition, it also has all the services up to date including the 15K and 30K mile service.  Most services were completed at Ferrari of Sarasota, FL (receipts included in sale).  Recently the driver window regulator was also replaced.  Both windows go up and down perfectly. In fact, All electrical components are in working order, including power seats, mirrors, radio, dash lights, exterior lights, A/C etc... Car fax report is CLEAN, NO accidents, floods, stolen recovery or millage discrepancy (report available upon request).

Also included in the sale are all the factory books and manuals with the original leather Ferrari case, all the original tools (also in leather Ferrari case), tire inflator canister and lastly the 2 factory keys and 3 fobs.

As illustrated in the photos, the exterior of the car is in excellent condition  with no major, dents, dings or scratches. The all original and entirely stitched and fully wrapped cream colored leather interior is also in excellent condition, with no major cuts, stains or scratches.  The black piping on the upholstery is not only a factory option, but gives it a beautiful and elegant contrast. The dash does have a slight imperfection over glove box, typical wear and tear from heat (see photos).

All four wheels are in great shape with absolutely no wheel scuffs.  All four wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires (the way it comes from the factory) with approximately 75% tread left.

These 456's have already hit their rock bottom price and will soon be classics. Enzo Ferrari intended for all Ferrari's to be classics and this is no exception. Especially on a front end V12! Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a V12 Ferrari before they become untouchable! Being a 6 speed manual favors its collectable value as they were rare (less than 700 cars) and the fact Ferrari does not produce manual cars anymore as of approximately 2009.

Free shipping is included only at the 'Buy It Now' price for anywhere in the Contiguous United States in a open carrier transporter (excludes anything outside the U.S. , Hawaii and Alaska)

Ferrari FXX-K Evo sprouts wings and looks ready to fly

Sun, Oct 29 2017

The winged devil you see above is the Ferrari FXX-K Evo. All those protuberances are there for a reason – from the reshaped front fascia with its carbon fiber splitters to the twin-profile rear wing and fixed fins – and that's to produce downforce. Some of the most important aero bits are hidden where you can't see. Vortex generators affixed to the belly of the beast and a massive rear diffuser help suck the FXX-K Evo to the track. A path of air travels from the hood, over the canopy, and ultimately to the rear wing, all in an effort to optimize flow and increase high-speed stability. At 124 miles per hour, says Ferrari, the bits and baubles push toward the earth with 1,411 pounds of downforce. In addition to the aero tweaks, Ferrari made adjustments to the FXX-K's suspension, fitted it with a redesigned steering wheel, and installed a larger interior display. Owners of previous FXX-K models can opt to have these upgrades added to their cars, and a limited number of new Evos will be produced. These 1,050-horsepower hybrid gasoline-electric machines aren't meant for the street. Instead, Ferrari arranges a nine-race schedule for owners who wish to stretch the FXX-K's legs out on the track. And if you're lucky enough to own one, we certainly hope you find enough time to take part in the high-speed festivities. Related Video:

What's the smarter investment, Ferrari stock or a Ferrari?

Sun, Jul 26 2015

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is gearing up to spin Ferrari off into its own company, and float some of its shares on the stock market. But buying and trading in Ferrari stock could face a rather unlikely competitor from within. As Bloomberg points out, the values held by classic Ferraris keeps going up, and by no small margin. Even something as relatively humble as the 80s-era Testarossa, for example, has nearly doubled in value over the past year alone. Meanwhile the value of some models – particularly those built in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s – have skyrocketed nearly seven-fold since 2006. Just look at the 250 GTO, one of the most coveted of classic Ferraris among collectors: not taking inflation into account, they were worth thousands in the late 60s, were already selling for hundreds of thousands in the 1980s, and by now are trading hands – on the rare occasion when they do trade hands – for tens of millions. One sold in 2004 for $10 million, and another in 2013 for over $50 million. Those kinds of increases can make a vintage Ferrari seem like a sound investment. That might make it difficult for Ferrari's stock to compete. The company hopes investors will view it as a luxury goods manufacturer along the likes of Prada, Hermes, or Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, the stocks of which tend to increase in value at a greater rate than those of most automakers. But even the best of those luxury stocks have merely doubled in value since 2006, compared to the aforementioned seven-fold increase enjoyed by some classic Ferraris over the same period. Add to that the prospect of actually getting to enjoy owning a classic Ferrari – albeit at the risk of damaging it and hindering its value – and the idea of investing in Maranello's products instead of its stock can seem like a much more enticing prospect. Tax The Rich goes slow-mo with a Ferrari F50

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

What is it about slow-motion video that makes everything so much cooler? Whether it's as simple as slapshot during a hockey game or as complex as a hypercar, filming in slow motion adds a new sense of depth, technicality and beauty to the subject. That's especially true when the video in question includes a rare Ferrari F50 and the team from Tax The Rich.
One Autoblog staffer called it "mesmerizing" the first time he watched it, and we're certainly inclined to agree. The F50 has never been a very pretty car, but in this setting, it's somehow incredibly compelling, as it drifts around a corner and does donuts at an agonizingly slow pace. Scroll down for the entire video, and let us know what you think in Comments.
