If your thinking of a regular 430, think Scuderia. It is such a visceral, fun car. Top Gear (available on YouTube) calls it a Ferrari for the Soul.
This one sold new by Ferrari of Beverly Hills 6/19/08. MSRP $295,396 (window sticker included in sale) I'm the second owner. Last annual service on 2/25/13. Clutch 22% worn, brakes 10% worn. All keys, books, tools, chargers, covers, etc. 12,030 miles. I'm of the school that says much less than ~2,000 miles/year is asking for mechanical trouble from disuse. I know some others that place a premium on a car that hasn't been used in the 5 years. I'm active on both FChat and FLife, past member of FCA, car guy to the core.

Tons of extras. There is one photo of some of the extras. Not in the photo are things like the floor mats (I got custom rubber in keeping with the elementary character of the car), the tool kit in the leather case behind the spare tire, etc.
If you want photos of anything in particular, just let me know. Scud is Rosso Corsa Fer 322 (with unopened touch up paint).
Its got a professionally installed top of the line radar and laser detector/shifter the Passport 9500ci
Also a hi end stereo with GPS/NAV, bluetooth, iPod, all the bells and whistles, Kenwood KVY-514/KVT534DVD
Plaque with car's serial number. BTW the assembly # is 78091
Car has the optional spare with jack and tool kit, plus another tool kit, plus extras.
The only special thing an owner needs is a 17mm hex for the Titanium wheel bolts.
It's the one thing Ferrari doesn't supply in either kit. I've got two with the car.

I'll try and list just some of the extras. Two battery maintainers, the Ferrari one and a much better one wired
in behind the driver's seat. Very easy to use. A kid's Ferrari licensed electric F1 car. Two complete cover sets with Ferrari
bags. One with red car cover, seat and steering wheel covers, the other with same (in another bag) but with unused white cover from Ferrari.
Manuals, originals, plus large format loose leaf. F1 car model in red with thumb drive containing shop manual, error codes,
owner manual, etc. Unused spare key, The already mentioned two tool kits with, therefore, some duplication like two
tow hooks, wrenches not normally in either kit. Unused Ferrari over shoulder bag. Front license mount plate (car has never had a front plate. Ferrari branded clothes. Custom windshield sunshade for the Scud (it's under the pile of stuff in the photo). A limited edition Ferrari branded open face helmet. There's lots more I can't think of.

If you have questions, or want to see the car you can contact me through eBay or at
danstern88@aol.com    or 310-545-5498
Pre purchase inspection welcome.
If you don't want all the extras we can talk about that.

Ferrari supercar hybrid prototype chased down by fan

Thu, May 16 2019

As discovered by Ferrari Chat and reported by Motor1, an Instagram user by the name Lambolife (@9000lambo) and a friend were out cruising in Europe when they ran across what looks like a Ferrari prototype, possibly a hybrid based on the F8 Tributo. The pair got the car on video as they were chasing it down the road and into a parking lot where the prototype driver tried to hide. Besides being amusing to watch the test driver trying desperately to keep the fans from seeing the car, we actually get a good glimpse at the vehicle. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Looking closely, the size and shape is very similar to the F8 Tributo, which is the latest evolution of the 488 GTB, and the 458 GTB before that. The shape of the rear spoiler and the edge of the front nose are particularly similar to the F8. But there are a couple differences, starting with the exhaust. On the regular car, the pipes are mounted low and set far apart. On this prototype, the pipes come out much higher up, and they're very close together. On top of that, you can just make out the triangular electrocution hazard sticker on one side of the car. This suggests it's a hybrid. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. A hybrid Ferrari similar to the F8 makes sense with other news we've heard recently. The company has confirmed it's working on hybrid drivetrains. Past reports say that one of them is a V6 hybrid with as much as 728 horsepower and 800 pound-feet of torque, and the other is a V8 hybrid with unknown performance, but most certainly greater than the V6. The first of the engines will be released in May, and since Ferrari's CEO said it will exceed the 812 Superfast, which makes 789 horsepower, that first engine will probably be the V8. This could be a prototype of Ferrari's soon-to-be-released V8 hybrid. It's also possible that this is simply a powertrain test mule, or a prototype for the V6 model coming later. At least we're half way through May, so we should have the answers to our questions very soon.

Ford 1.0L takes third-straight International Engine of the Year award

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost is proving to be The Little Engine That Could, and it continues to acquit itself well, finding favor as one of the best powerplants in the world. To confirm it yet again, the tiny mill just won the International Engine of the Year award for the third year in a row, likewise also nabbing the title in the Sub 1.0-liter category.
Packing 123 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque with overboost (125 lb-ft normally), the tiny engine combines impressive power in a size small enough to be a carry-on item for a commercial flight. US buyers only got a taste of the award winner in the 2014 Fiesta, while the 1.0 EcoBoost has been available throughout the Ford lineup in Europe for a few years now. American sales have reportedly been strong, however, and next up in the US, the mill will find its way into the 2015 Focus.
The panel of 82 jury members from 34 countries also named the Mercedes-AMG 2.0-liter turbo found in the A45, CLA45 and GLA45 AMG models with 355 hp and 332 lb-ft as the best New Engine for 2014. The electric powertrain from Tesla won Green Engine prize, and the 4.5-liter V8 from the Ferrari 458 Italia took home the honor of top Performance Engine yet again. You can check out all the winners below, and scroll down further to read Ford's celebratory announcement of its award.

Ferrari stock sale pegged for October, or later

Sat, Jun 6 2015

The Ferrari IPO is still coming, but it won't be before Columbus Day (Monday, October 12, that is), according to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles CEO Sergio Marchionne. The outspoken exec is blaming tax reasons for the fourth-quarter date, according to a report from Reuters. Marchionne said a full year needed to pass between FCA's October 13, 2014 Wall Street debut and any additional listing. This isn't the first delay in the Ferrari IPO. FCA was originally supposed to make a 10-percent offering of Ferrari during second or third quarter of 2015, before officially pushing things back to the third quarter of this year. Now, it's unclear if Ferrari will even go public before the dawn of 2016.
