If your thinking of a 430, think Scuderia. It is such a visceral, fun car. Top Gear (available on YouTube) calls it a Ferrari for the Soul.
This one sold new by Ferrari of Beverly Hills 6/19/08. MSRP $295,396 (window sticker included in sale) I'm the second owner. Last annual service on 2/25/13. Clutch 22% worn, brakes 10% worn. All keys, books, tools, chargers, covers, etc. 12,020 miles. I'm of the school that says much less than ~2,000 miles/year is asking for mechanical trouble from disuse. I know some others that place a premium on a car that hasn't been used in the 5 years. I'm active on both FChat and FLife, past member of FCA, car (and motorcycle) guy to the core.

Options were:  Red Brake Calipers,  Carbon Fiber Headlights,  Extinguisher,  Stripe (only Ferrari could  charge $8,264 for stripes),
Gold Rims,  Red Stitching,  & Spare Tire.

Tons of extras. There is one photo of some of the extras. Not in the photo are things like the floor mats (I got custom rubber in keeping with the elementary character of the car), the tool kit in the leather case behind the spare tire, etc.
If you want photos of anything in particular, just let me know. Scud is Rosso Corsa Fer 322 (with unopened touch up paint).
Its got a professionally installed top of the line radar and laser detector/shifter the Passport 9500ci
Also a hi end stereo with GPS/NAV, bluetooth, iPod, all the bells and whistles, Kenwood KVY-514/KVT534DVD
Plaque with car's serial number. BTW the assembly # is 78091
Car has the optional spare with jack and tool kit, plus another tool kit, plus extras
the only special thing an owner needs is a 17mm hex for the Titanium wheel bolts.
It's the one thing Ferrari doesn't supply in either kit. I've got two with the car.
There aren't may Scuds in CA, there's a group photo near the bottom of listing before a canyon cruise. Mine is on the left.

I'll try and list just some of the extras. Two battery maintainers, the Ferrari one and a much better one wired
in behind the driver's seat. Very easy to use. A kid's Ferrari licensed electric F1 car. Two complete cover sets with Ferrari
bags. One with red car cover, seat and steering wheel covers, the other with same (in another bag) but with unused white cover from Ferrari.
Manuals, originals, plus large format loose leaf. F1 car model in red with thumb drive containing shop manual, error codes,
owner manual, etc. Unused spare key, The already mentioned two tool kits with, therefore, some duplication like two
tow hooks, wrenches not normally in either kit. Unused Ferrari over shoulder bag. Front license mount plate (car has never had a front plate. Ferrari branded clothes. Custom windshield sunshade for the Scud (it's under the pile of stuff in the photo). There's lots more I can't think of.

The Scud is in Great Condition.

If you have questions, or want to see the car you can contact me through eBay or at
danstern88@aol.com    or 310-545-5498
Your welcome to have a pre purchase inspection done. I will assist with shipping if neccessary.

$3M Ferrari FXX K already sold out [w/videos]

Mon, Dec 8 2014

When Ferrari took the wraps off its new FXX K track machine in Abu Dhabi last week, it conspicuously left out some key details. Sure, the Prancing Horse marque told us how much power it produced, and what it had done to the aero package to make it hug the track even closer than the road-going LaFerrari on which it's based – but it didn't tell us just how fast it will go, or how much it will cost. The latest reports, however, seek to fill in those blanks. According to Ferrari marketing chief Nicola Boari in speaking to Top Gear, the FXX K will lap the company's Fiorano test track in 1 minute 14 seconds. That would make it five seconds faster than the LaFerrari, a solid second ahead of the 599XX Evoluzione and two seconds faster than the original FXX. However it seems to fall short of the eight- to nine-second gap those previous XX derivatives opened up over the road-going models on which they in turn were based. So it seems, for the time being at least, that the 1:11.9 lap time recorded by the 333 SP – an open-cockpit sports prototype from the late 1990s – will remain for now the fastest car this side of an F1 racer ever to lap the circuit. The outright record stands at under 56 seconds and belongs to Michael Schumacher in the ten-cylinder F2004 he drove to his seventh and final world championship. As for the FXX K's production, Top Gear reports that Ferrari will build fewer than 40 of them, and that they've all been spoken for – at a price of ˆ2.5 million (more than $3M) apiece. If you're not one of those forty fortunate souls to have put down their deposit, your best chance to see this rare beast in its natural habitat (at least until one of the XX track days hits a race track near you) are the live images above and the handful of videos below. Petrolicious goes running up that Hill in a Ferrari 250 GTO

Mon, Dec 7 2015

We might not ordinarily run a seven-minute clip of in-car footage. But this is no ordinary car, it's not being driven by any ordinary driver, and it wasn't put up by just any YouTube user. This is video of a Ferrari 250 GTO once raced by Phil Hill, being driven by his son, Derek Hill, in a hillclimb for Petrolicious. The footage was captured during the making of a previous clip, entitled The Ferrari 250 GTO Speaks for Itself and released over a year ago. Since it was left over after production, the Petrolicious uploaded it here for our enjoyment. Of course the GTO should require no introduction, being one of the most sought-after classics the world has ever known. And neither should Derek Hill. While the former's clout goes without saying, Hill's skills warrant repeating. The late legend Phil Hill was one of the few Americans to succeed in European racing in the 1960s, with a Formula One World Championship title and three Le Mans wins to his name. Derek may never have reached his father's level of success, but he's won races and titles in both formula and sports-car racing, and was among the last to professionally race a Bugatti when he campaigned an EB110 at Daytona back in 1996. The point is, the guy can drive, and you can see that much for yourself from the video above. Related Video:

Bid on Floyd Mayweather's Ferrari Enzo in New York

Mon, Nov 2 2015

Floyd Mayweather has a bit of a thing for supercars. Heck, he bought 100 cars from one dealership alone. While his Ferrari Enzo is just one of many impressive cars in his collection, it's certainly special. And it's for sale. The 295th example in a run of 400 was done up in Rosso Corsa over black leather and sold new to a buyer in Dubai who barely ever drove it. Mayweather bought it from its original owner last year and put it in his collection, alongside so many other Ferraris and Bugattis. He only drove it some 200 miles, though, leaving this as one of the lowest-mileage Enzos around with just 560 miles on the odometer. Now that Mayweather is retired, he's putting the Enzo up for auction, consigning it to RM Sotheby's for its upcoming Driven By Disruption sale in New York next month. The record for the highest price paid for an Enzo at auction currently stands at over $6 million, set at Monterey this past summer by - you guessed it - RM Sotheby's. But that was the very last example, made for Pope John Paul II, with just 111 miles on it. The next highest price (also achieved by RM) was recorded a year prior at $1.925 million. That all-black example had three owners who clocked over 8,000 miles on it. The auction house anticipates that this example will sell for $3-3.5 million. Given the celebrity provenance and low mileage on this example, we won't be at all surprised to see it reach that amount. 2003 Ferrari Enzo Chassis no. ZFFCW56A130135440 Engine no. 79706 Assembly no. 52427 660 bhp, 5,998 cc DOHC 65-degree V-12 engine with Bosch Motronic engine management and electronic fuel injection, six-speed electro-hydraulic computer-controlled sequential F1 transmission, limited-slip differential and traction control, front and rear pushrod-actuated double wishbones with horizontal external reservoir coil-spring damper units, and four-wheel ventilated carbon-ceramic disc brakes. Wheelbase: 104 in. - The 295th Enzo of 400 produced - Just two owners and 560 miles from new - Formerly owned by renowned boxer Floyd Mayweather - Surely one of the finest Enzos extant FERRARI'S 21ST CENTURY SUPERCAR At the Paris Motor Show in 2002, the pressure was on for Ferrari to unveil its latest supercar. The company was back on top after years of struggling both in motorsport and in sales, and it was clear that their next supercar, the successor to the Ferrari F50, would be a monumental milestone for the company.
