If you're looking for a good one, this might be just the one!
It's a beautiful 'triple black' example, and much has been invested in making it truly unique and special.
A Black Beauty that cuts an impressive line anywhere. Very unique and tastefully executed.

As a Ferrari connoisseur, you know the above list represents all the 'best bits' of modification and quality available today. Select modifications to accentuate the prodigious styling of the 360 Spider.
And, you know what that has cost too.

The work and expense has been accomlished. It doesn't need anything.
All of it -definitely- adds value, and makes this the kind of breath taking exotic they write about in books and reviews. "It's a head turner, certainly."
The fortunate Buyer will proudly enjoy owning it.

If you have any questions at all- contact me directly.
I am QUICK to answer/reply.
Need more photos? Just let me know.
Want a video of it starting and running? I can make that happen.
Just reach out via the 'contact seller' button. I'm here and waiting...

REGARDS MAKING THE TRANSACTION OCCUR SMOOTHLY:

I am open to near offers, and we both know what the market will bear today.
I can accept any form of payment, but prefer a wire transfer. (contact me to discuss)
A non-refundable deposit of $2,000.00 USD is due two days after end of auction.

The car is being advertised in vertical interest forums on-line, as well as in print.
Therefore, it is subject to prior sale.
It is offered in an 'as is/where is' fashion.

I'm looking for the right person to take on custodianship of this beautiful car.
Don't need dealers, brokers, or time wasting tire kickers. (Saying it bluntly.)

If we strike the deal, it's expected to transpire sooner than later.
Don't need any stories, and don't want partial trades either.
I'm selling my car- straight up and cleanly. I expect legit buyers in return.

You want it, my pricing is very fair and well within current market trending.
It's a lot of car, and in fine form- as you can see.
Not your 'ordinary' F1 360 Spider, by any means.

Additional details to share:
The car is located approximately 120 miles from a major East Coast (US) seaport (POE.)
The city where it resides is serviced by a regional airport, easy flight in and drive it home.
A PPI can be arranged, contact me directly to work out the details (but, as you can see, this car has been very well cared for and attended to properly.)

While it does not carry any warranty; either written, expressed nor implied- it would be found in good to excellent condition by any serious Ferrari enthusiast or expert.
I have no compunction about legitimate buyers/representatives seeing the car for a 'hands on' survey- but I don't give 'joy rides' either.

This is my baby, and someone (soon) is going to inherit it- to enjoy it for the next 10 years (or more.)

In the event the payment is received in good order (to my ultimate satisfaction), I will gladly aide and assist in ushering it to the new owner.
This is a THRESHOLD SALE; which means the car is paid for IN FULL before it leaves my garage.

The Buyer arranges for transport, informs me about the specifics of same, and I'll meet the truck, tow vehicle or Freight Forwarder -on their schedule- to take possession of your 'new' Ferrari 360.
I can and will bring the Spider to a nearby convenient location for loading onto an enclosed trailer which will haul it to the Buyer.
I'm as concerned about it being passed on in the excellent condition I've kept it in, as you are about breaking an ear to ear grin when you finally see it in person!

For foreign buyers; Transport of the car from my place to the nearby POE (Charleston, SC) will be at their expense. *Read above detail about my willingness to aide and assist in the process.
All purchase funds will be 'in hand' by me (as stated) before it gets handed off to any carrier (proper documentation signed and presented at the point presentation to carrier.)

I'd suggest using your own Freight Forwarder (in country) and have them establish contact with a Freight Forwarder in Charleston to handle the pickup and outbound shipping.
It would be best to have the car shipped ocean freight in a container.
It is the least expensive and most secure way to move a vehicle of this caliber.
RORO (roll on/roll off) is the cheapest, actually- but there's no good to come from pinching pennies on a purchase like this, exposing a high-performance machine to dock & deck hand ravages.
Protect your investment!

BOTTOM LINE:
•It's a gorgeous car. Low miles, lots of proper upgrades and modifications.
•A great driving Ferrari with top down excitement- just can't be beat!
•Pricing is right (and you know market trending already.)
•Smooth and easy transaction is the goal.
•Contact me to discuss details.

THANKS!

Fiat Chrysler's Marchionne being treated in Zurich

Mon, Jul 23 2018

ZURICH — Fiat Chrysler Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne was being treated in a Zurich hospital on Sunday with a serious illness after suffering complications following shoulder surgery. A Fiat Chrysler spokesman confirmed Marchionne was in Zurich's University Hospital, one of Switzerland's largest medical centers. The FCA spokesman did not give the 66-year-old Italian-Canadian executive's condition or say in which of the hospital's 43 divisions he was being treated. Italian news outlets said he has been in a coma since Friday, is breathing with the help of a ventilator, and that attempts to have him breath on his own were unsuccessful. Fiat Chrysler named its Jeep division boss Mike Manley on Saturday to take over immediately from Marchionne, who had been due to step down next April. SGS, the Swiss logistics services company, also announced on Sunday that it had named a new acting chairman to take over for Marchionne, since his illness prevented him from fulfilling the role's obligations. SGS said in a statement it was "deeply saddened" by the news, as did Lausanne, Switzerland-based Philip Morris International, where Marchionne is also on the board. Marchionne was credited with rescuing Fiat and Chrysler from bankruptcy after taking the Italian carmaker's wheel in 2004. On Saturday he was also replaced as chairman and CEO of Ferrari and chairman of tractor maker CNH Industrial Β— both spun off from FCA in recent years. In additional management changes linked to Marchionne's illness, Ferrari named FCA Chairman and Agnelli family scion John Elkann as new chairman and Louis Camilleri becomes chief executive. Fangio's Ferrari sells for $28 million in New York [w/videos]

Mon, Dec 14 2015

See this Ferrari? It just set the record as the most valuable automobile sold at auction this year. It's a 1956 Ferrari 290 MM driven by the legendary Juan Manuel Fangio, and it sold last weekend in New York for an astonishing $28.05 million. The speedster was built for Fangio to drive in the 1956 Mille Miglia – the last time the Argentinian would enter the race, which was shut down as a competitive event the following year. But before chassis number 0626 was retired, it was driven by such legends as Phil Hill, Alfonso de Portago, and Wolfgang von Trips. Ferrari only made four examples, and between its provenance and its pristine condition Β– it never crashed Β– this 290 managed to exceed its pre-sale estimate. In the process, 0626 powered its way into the record books as the most expensive car sold at auction in 2015, the most valuable that RM has ever handled, and the highest price ever paid for a vehicle in New York City. In fact the only cars ever sold at auction for more than this one were another Ferrari (the 250 GTO that Bonhams sold last year for $35 million) and another of Fangio's racers (the Mercedes W196 also sold by Bonhams for $29.6 million in 2013). Though Fangio's Ferrari was far and away the top lot of the day, it wasn't the only multi-million-dollar automobile sold as part of RM Sotheby's Driven by Disruption auction. A 1962 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato set a new record for British automobiles at $14.3 million. A Ferrari 250 GT Series I Cabriolet sold for $5.7 million, a Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow went for $3.7 million, and another Ferrari 250 Europa sold for $3.3 million Β– as did Floyd Mayweather's Enzo. A '72 Lamborghini Miura SV fetched $2.4 million, and Janis Joplin's Porsche 356 set a new record for its type and well exceeded expectations at $1.7 million. All told, the event generated a massive $73.5 million in sales, of which the Fangio Ferrari alone accounted for over a third. This content is hosted by a third party. RM Sotheby's 2015 Monterey auction sets records

Sun, Aug 16 2015

RM Sotheby's wrapped up three days of beautiful cars crossing the block during Monterey Car Week with a company record of $172.7 million in vehicles sold. The first day's Pinnacle Portfolio collection alone brought in $75.4 million, a new high for a one-day, single-vendor auction. While nothing ever topped the $17.6 million 1964 Ferrari 250 LM, the hammer continued to fall on some very expensive vehicles each day. Expected to clear over $11 million, the sale of a 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione 'Tour de France' easily managed that with a final price of $13.2 million. Multiple bidders on the phone and in the room desperately wanted this famous racer, and it drove the price up. To make this thoroughbred worth the lavish amount, the coupe won the 1956 Tour de France series of events and was among seven with this body by Scaglietti. Many of the top sellers came from the first night's Pinnacle Portfolio, but records continued to be broken over the weekend. Notably, a 1953 Jaguar C-Type Works Lightweight brought $13.2 million to make it the most expensive Jag ever at auction. Also among RM Sotheby's top sellers were a 1950 Ferrari 275S/340 America Barchetta at $7.975 million and a 1952 Jaguar XK120 Supersonic for $2,062,500. Take a look at a few of these special vehicles in the gallery above. HISTORIC FERRARI 250 GT 'TOUR DE FRANCE' LEADS THIRD NIGHT OF RECORD SALES AT RM SOTHEBY'S MONTEREY World's largest collector car auction house concludes three day event with more than $172.7 million in auction and post-auction sales MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA (August 15, 2015) - A historic 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione 'Tour de France' set a new auction record for the model tonight, selling for an outstanding $13.2 million before another packed house at RM Sotheby's Monterey event. Spurring a lively bidding contest between multiple collectors in the room and on the telephones, the influential Ferrari is the actual car that instituted the 'Tour de France' nomenclature following its overall victory at that legendary race in 1956. The fifth of only seven Scaglietti-bodied first-series competition berlinettas, it was sold new to the Marquis Alfonso de Portago, the flamboyant and daring Spanish driver, who, joined by his close friend Ed Nelson, piloted to car to first place overall at the 1956 Tour de France Auto.
