00 Ferrari 360 Modena Coupe! Low Miles! F1! Cheap! F360 on 2040-cars
Lyons, Illinois, United States
Hey thanks for looking, we have a 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena Coupe for sale with 26K Miles and a Salvage Title! The salvage title is due to Hurricane Sandy and when we purchased the car we were told it never touched water (this was confirmed by multiple inspections found no signs of major water damage on the car). There are no funny smells, no mold that we could find, no rust holes, etc. There are NO warning lights on at all, all the headlights/tail lights/etc work great, there are no known leaks, heat & A/C work well, and overall it is a "Cheap" Ferrari! The car has been driven by us over 150 enjoyable miles. And the previous owner has put over 3000 miles on the car since the "salvage" was issued. The car runs and drives nice and shows well for its age and price, but does have scrapes on the bottom of the bumper, and random small scratches/etc throughout the car. This car by no means is a show car, but more of a cheap driver Ferrari or Track/Race Car. Pros: -2000 Ferrari 360 Modena -Low Miles -V8 Motor -F1 Transmission with Automatic Mode -46% Clutch Life Left -No Check engine/or other lights -All the lights work great -Newer Tires with lots of thread left -A/C and Heat work well
-CD Player with Aux Jack Cons: Ferrari PPI found that the right left caliber
may be sticky and recommend replacement (but it stops fine and shows no
issues), the Battery is not strapped down "properly", and there is 3
beeps when you take off from a stop in 1st or Reverse and sometimes an occasional 1-3 second delay in gear change, which the dealership
believe is a faulty position sensor. Besides those issues, the radio is
aftermarket and does not receive FM Stations but the CD Player and etc work
fine, and one of the dome lights does not work. The clutch has 54% life left! Price is $49,500 or best offer. Rebuilt

Possible Ferrari F70/F150 specs emerge from private showings
Fri, 01 Feb 2013At a private showing in Maranello, a group of lucky souls got to sneak a peek at the upcoming successor to the Ferrari Enzo, which has been referred to as both the F70 and F150 (not that F-150). While we still don't get any name confirmation or a definitive idea (aside from spy shots) as to what the newest Ferrari supercar will look like, one of the attendees did manage to pass along some vital performance information about the car as well as production numbers that are said to be limited to just 499 units.
The report on Auto-Blog.com.mx confirms that the Enzo successor will utilize an 800-horsepower V12 paired with a hybrid KERS good for another 150 hp. The engine's peak power kicks in at a screaming 9,200 rpm, while peak torque (not divulged) will be available at just 1,000 rpm. That kind of power could be great in just about anything, but the report also says that this new Ferrari model will have a dry weight of just 2,799 pounds (about the same as the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S twins and just slightly more than a Mazda MX-5 Miata). Rumored speed times include a top speed of 229 miles per hour, and the ability to run from 0-60 mph in less than three seconds; doubling that speed takes an extra second.
We've already seen the car's carbon fiber chassis and now we're just waiting to see the production car in real life, but Ferrari has not announced when the car will be introduced.
The Windsor Castle Concours d'Elegance in pictures, courtesy of Bentley
Sat, 15 Sep 2012Bentley went to the Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance as the main sponsor and showed off six of its best among the gathering of "60 of the finest motor cars in the world," including the 4¼-liter Bentley 'Embiricos' Special built for a Greek shipping magnate and gentleman racer in the 1930s.
Even better, for us at least, is that when Bentley decided to capture the moment it took pictures of most of the metal on the lawn, not just the Bentleys. Thanks to that, we have a high-res gallery that's home to rarities like the Vauxhall 30-98 Type OE Boattail Wensum Tourer, beauties like the Bugatti Type 57S Atalante, long-tail Ford GT40, Maserati Tipo 60 Birdcage, Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato, a sinister Ferrari 250 GTO and the even more sinister Rolls-Royce Phantom Aerodynamic Coupe, among others. All you need to do now is click and enjoy.
$80M Ferrari deal would make Vettel world's highest-paid sportsman
Mon, 13 Oct 2014Formula One is in for a big shakeup next season, as the only two multiple World Champions on the grid are kicking off a game of musical chairs. Just who will end up where has yet to be figured out, but the overwhelmingly prevailing wisdom has Sebastian Vettel, who has already announced his departure from Red Bull, inking a contract with Ferrari worth 150 million pounds sterling for three years - that works out to over $80 million per year.
If the reports are true, that would make Vettel (pictured above with his assumed new teammate Kimi Raikkonen) the highest-salaried sportsman in the world. Compared to Vettel's rumored $80 million/year, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo was paid $52 million last year and NFL quarterback Matt Ryan got $42 million, just ahead of soccer player Lionel Messi at $41.7 million. Boxer Floyd Mayweather was reportedly paid a whopping $100 million last year, but that's based on how many fights he fights and wins, putting him on a different earnings spectrum.
Those figures are also just for salaries, and do not include sponsorship and endorsement deals - and therein may lie part of the reason for Vettel's reportedly stratospheric salary. In addition to his salary from the Red Bull team with which he's won four World Championships, Vettel also pulls in a large retainer from Infiniti, which sponsors both the team and himself personally. In departing Red Bull, he'd undoubtedly have to sever the tie with Infiniti as well.
