Hey thanks for looking, we have a 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena Coupe for sale with 26K Miles and a Salvage Title! The salvage title is due to Hurricane Sandy and when we purchased the car we were told it never touched water (this was confirmed by multiple inspections found no signs of major water damage on the car). There are no funny smells, no mold that we could find, no rust holes, etc. There are NO warning lights on at all, all the headlights/tail lights/etc work great, there are no known leaks, heat & A/C work well, and overall it is a "Cheap" Ferrari!  The car has been driven by us over 150 enjoyable miles. And the previous owner has put over 3000 miles on the car since the "salvage" was issued. The car runs and drives nice and shows well for its age and price, but does have scrapes on the bottom of the bumper, and random small scratches/etc throughout the car. This car by no means is a show car, but more of a cheap driver Ferrari or Track/Race Car.

Pros:

-2000 Ferrari 360 Modena

-Low Miles

-V8 Motor

-F1 Transmission with Automatic Mode

-46% Clutch Life Left

-No Check engine/or other lights

-All the lights work great

-Newer Tires with lots of thread left

-A/C and Heat work well

-CD Player with Aux Jack

Cons:

Ferrari PPI found that the right left caliber may be sticky and recommend replacement (but it stops fine and shows no issues), the Battery is not strapped down "properly", and there is 3 beeps when you take off from a stop in 1st or Reverse and sometimes an occasional 1-3 second delay in gear change, which the dealership believe is a faulty position sensor. Besides those issues, the radio is aftermarket and does not receive FM Stations but the CD Player and etc work fine, and one of the dome lights does not work. The clutch has 54% life left!

Price is $49,500 or best offer

Rebuilt Title, so NO financing (you must get your own if you need it). Trade in's are considered!

Apple announces CarPlay in-car iPhone interface

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Apple, maker of tech items like the iPhone, iPad and Mac line of computers, is extending its reach into the automotive market, making a fairly big announcement ahead of the Geneva Motor Show. No, it hasn't bought Tesla (yet). Instead, Apple has announced CarPlay, an all-new means of controlling an iPhone through your car.
Now, this doesn't strike us as some gimmicky thing. It's become increasingly common for automakers to take advantage of the high-speed data streams its customers enjoy on their smartphones in order to integrate navigation, traffic, audio and other infotainment items into a car's touchscreen interface. The Chevrolet Spark and Sonic are two prime examples of this move, using an iPhone's data stream for Siri integration and data for a third-party navigation app.
Owners will be able to plug in their iPhones to their cars via the USB port and gain control of a number of the device's functions, all through a car's touchscreen.

Ferrari gives employees record $5,600 bonus on strong year

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Ferrari has got to be a great place to work. In fact, it's named as one of the best places to work in Europe year after year. Add to that the pride of making some of the coolest cars in the business, running one of the winningest teams in all of motorsports (even if the Scuderia isn't doing so well thus far this season) and all around standing for the best Italy has to offer, and you've got the makings of a dream job. And it just got a bit sweeter.
That's because Ferrari has just awarded each and every one of its employees a bonus of 4,096 euros - the most the company has ever paid. That's equivalent to over $5,600 at today's exchange rates, and represents a whopping 20 percent of the annual salary for a recently hired young employee. Following two advances of 1,000 euros each, that means employees will find an extra 2,096 euros in their pay checks this month, which may not be enough to buy a new California T or 458 Speciale, but should finance a nice shopping spree of t-shirts and paperweights at the Ferrari Store or a family vacation to Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi.
The bonuses are part of a deal signed with the union in 2012, but are enabled by record profits reported by the company over the last couple of years. After 2012 emerged as Ferrari's most profitable fiscal year, it moved to reduce production, thereby increasing the value of each new car it sells to drive profits up even higher. Nice work, in short, if you can get it.

Evo takes a Ferrari F40 across the Alps

Wed, 13 Aug 2014

There are many great GTs we'd choose for a romp across the Alps. And Ferrari has made many of them. While we're not sure the hard-core, no-frills F40 would be our top choice for a transalpine journey, we certainly wouldn't turn down the opportunity.
Neither, it seems, could the guys at Evo. So when the British magazine's "secret supercar owner" - who keeps the editorial team stocked with exotic machinery - needed to get his F40 back across the mountains, he handed the keys over to Henry Catchpole, who was good enough to record and recount the experience in this latest behind-the-scenes video.
Needless to say it was a memorable experience, and one worth sharing.
