1996 Ferrari F355 Spider. This Ferrari is very clean and runs and drives excellent. This Ferrari has a clean Carfax that shows it was originally purchased in California and sold to a friend in NY. I then purchased it from them and have had it for 2 years. Everything works as it should. Brand new rear tires, front tires are in excellent condition. New brake pads all the way around. Had full service done at 25,918 miles. Has over $15k in upgrades. Has Tubi Ferrari exhaust. Carbon fiber dash trim inlay. Front lower spoiler. Rear wing spoiler. Custom painted wheels. Wheel Spacers. Nitrous oxide system with a 100 shot of nitrous, which is considered very low and safe for this vehicle. I have only used the nitrous 5 times just to make sure it works perfect. It does increase the horse power from 400 to 500 when in use. Has Ferrari tool box, Ferrari steering wheel cover, Ferrari car cover, 3 ferrari keys with remote and Ferrari owners manual. Very beautiful and fun car to drive! This car is easily worth over $65K. I am starting the bid off at $52K with no reserve. Owner responsible for pick up and payment must be received in full within 3 days of the bid.

Ferrari's bid for review of penalty against Vettel is rejected

Fri, Jun 21 2019

LE CASTELLET, France — Formula One stewards on Friday dashed Ferrari's hopes of overturning a penalty that denied Sebastian Vettel victory in Canada, ruling that the Italian team had not presented significant and new evidence. Vettel, who finished first in Montreal on June 9 but was demoted to runner-up behind Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton after a five second penalty, told BBC radio he was disappointed with the outcome. Ferrari team boss Mattia Binotto, who had sought a review of the Montreal decision, echoed the sentiment and told reporters the matter was now closed. "As Ferrari we are all very unhappy and disappointed. We are disappointed certainly for Ferrari but for the fans and for our sport," he said. The Italian team believed they had 'overwhelming' proof to trigger a review but the FIA revealed some of that was Sky Sports' television analysis carried out by Indian racer Karun Chandhok. The Indian, who raced in Formula One for now-defunct tail-end teams Hispania and Team Lotus in 2010 and 2011 without scoring a point, was apparently unaware that his opinion formed part of the evidence. "Er... so, can I send you an invoice Ferrari? I mean, lawyers send bills whether you win or lose a case so...!!," he said on Twitter. The stewards decided Chandhok's video was "new but not significant and relevant" and the "personal opinion by a third party." The ruling means that Hamilton, a five-times world champion, has his 29-point lead over teammate Valtteri Bottas confirmed. He's 62 points ahead of Vettel. Mercedes has won all seven races this season, and nine in a row in total, and are favorites to chalk up another in France on Sunday. Ferrari sporting director Laurent Mekies had said earlier that the team believed the evidence to be "quite overwhelming when it comes to establishing that Sebastian did not breach any regulations." The stewards clearly found it underwhelming. They said footage of Vettel's face camera was previously available, as were analysis of telemetry data, camera angles from the car, post-race video images and the German's witness statement. The right of review calls for a team to present significant and relevant new evidence that was not available at the time of the decision. The stewards, whose ruling is final, had sole discretion to determine whether such a new element exists.

Meet the man whose house is designed around his car

Tue, 21 May 2013

It's been a couple of years since we last heard about Holger Schubert and his award-winning office/garage, but it looks like the city of Los Angeles, thankfully, did not force him to tear down the bridge that gives his Ferrari 512 BBi arguably the nicest parking spot in California. Petrolicious is back again with another well-done video, which finally introduces us to Schubert as well as his lust-worthy Ferrari.
As for the structure, it is half garage and half work space with an office, couch, bookshelf and television, and one hell of a view. There is a ramp that raises to allow the Ferrari to roll backward out of the garage before starting up on the aforementioned bridge that sits 16-feet above the ground. The car itself is an equally admirable piece of art, with a wedge-like shape and its reserved dark gray hue. If you're not the jealous type, scroll down to meet Schubert and his incredible Ferrari.

Ferrari 458 Speciale Spider will make Paris debut

Wed, 17 Sep 2014

The news out of Ferrari is coming nearly as fast as its wonderful sports cars, as of late, with CEO Luca di Montezemolo stepping down and a special model for America upcoming. Now, it's looking increasingly likely that the 458 Speciale Spider is making its world debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in early October, confirming earlier rumors.
Di Montezemolo had already confirmed that the Prancing Horse would unveil a new car in Paris, but exactly which model it would be had been a mystery. However, an unnamed Ferrari insider has recently confirmed to 4WheelNews that it would be the droptop Speciale.
As the name suggests, the special model takes the sonorous 4.5-liter V8 engine from the 458 Speciale with 597 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque and drops it into the convertible hardtop from the Spider. According to the source, the special Ferrari is also getting new wheels, stripes and seats, but the folding top might mean losing the coupe's transparent engine cover.
