1998 Ferrari 355 F1 on 2040-cars

For your consideration, my 1998 Ferrari 355 F1.
The car currently has 30,425 miles on the odometer. Service was performed at 29,857 miles in July of this year.
This was the 30k major engine out service replacing all belts, seals, Hill bearings, etc. It was done using
Ricambi's complete 30k kit. I also replaced the c/v joints, installed heavy duty motor mounts, carbon heat shields,
new enclosed motor SPAL cooling fans, K&N air filters, along with a new water pump and thermostat. I then had brand
new Fabspeed headers, Prospeed high flow catalytic converters, and TopSpeed F1 exhaust installed. I also had the
valve covers repainted and the headers were ceramic coated. All fluids were flushed/replaced and the a/c was
recharged. The car runs great and sounds great with no issues.
The body is in great shape with some minor stone chips on the front bumper cover. There is a small Nick on the left
rear fender lip which has been touched up. There are no cracks in the "C" pillars (butresses). The car also has the
challenge rear grille. The interior is in good shape as well. There are no "sticky" parts inside. The leather panel
in front of the passenger seat is a little wavy. There is some very minor wear on the driver seat outer bolster
from ingress/egress.
I do have books for the car, no tool kit, a service book stamped at 5k and 15k miles, along with the service that I
have done to the car. There is a ton of life left in the clutch, brakes, and tires.
I do hold the title for the car.
All parts that were removed (stock manifolds, cats, exhaust, fans) along with some misc pieces (belts, spark plugs,
filters) will be included in the sale.

Tax The Rich goes slow-mo with a Ferrari F50
Thu, 05 Dec 2013What is it about slow-motion video that makes everything so much cooler? Whether it's as simple as slapshot during a hockey game or as complex as a hypercar, filming in slow motion adds a new sense of depth, technicality and beauty to the subject. That's especially true when the video in question includes a rare Ferrari F50 and the team from Tax The Rich.
One Autoblog staffer called it "mesmerizing" the first time he watched it, and we're certainly inclined to agree. The F50 has never been a very pretty car, but in this setting, it's somehow incredibly compelling, as it drifts around a corner and does donuts at an agonizingly slow pace. Scroll down for the entire video, and let us know what you think in Comments.
Ferrari FF spotted testing, may get new turbo engine
Wed, Feb 11 2015With the introduction of the turbocharged Ferrari 488 GTB at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, the FF is about to be the oldest model in the Ferrari lineup. The Prancing Horse doesn't appear to want the 2+2 shooting brake getting too much longer in the tooth, though, if this prototype is any indication. This one wears all of its camouflage around the lower grille and hood, and the tape makes it look like Ferrari is trying to direct air to some new ducting under its bodywork. Beyond just some updated styling, these changes suggest something different is going on under the hood. One possibility stems from an earlier rumor that Ferrari's V12 models could get hybrids to be more efficient and boost power. Alternatively, other rumors suggest that the FF might get the 3.9-liter turbocharged V8 from the California T and 488 GTB to create a new, entry-level model. Ferrari has already been caught on video lapping an FF around the Fiorano test track. It looked relatively normal except for some odd exhausts poking out the rear, which weren't on display for this test car. In any case, one thing is certain: The Prancing Horse definitely has something in the works for its all-wheel drive wagon.
