Up for sale is this beautiful 1990 Ferrari 348 TS in Rosso Corsa (racing red) with tan leather interior. This Ferrari has 50761 miles and has been maintained and serviced by Norwood of Dallas since I have owned it. I have documents dating prior before I purchased indicating a well kept vehicle being serviced through its life by various Ferrari dealerships. This car comes with original tool kit wrapped it original leather tool pouch. The catalytic converters have been deleted for sound quality but do come with the car. The catalytic converters are a simple bolt in procedure. The Simpson 5 point race harnesses were installed in the car prior to my ownership but original OEM seatbelts and tracks and motors do come with the car. Aftermarket Sony cd player has been installed as well as 6 disk cd changer in the front baggage compartment prior to my ownership. I have owned this car since July, 2010, I purchased from a reputable dealer who had oversaw the timing belt change and valve timing job. I purchased this car with only 47130 miles and since 2010 I have only put 3631 miles on this car, mostly highway and back country driving. Interstate battery installed in 2014 and been maintained with a battery tender. NO 1-4, 5-8 lights on, NO SLOW DOWN light on. Only light that comes on is of coarse the seatbelt light. Front lights pop right up and operate. Air conditioning blows cold for a car over 20 years old. These Ferraris do not have power steering! The power windows do function and do go up and down but not as fast as newer cars, this is to be expected with older Ferraris. Photos included show actual real time condition of car, notice that driver seat on bolster has started to fade from getting in and out of the vehicle. Overall this car is a top and defiantly turns heads and is a great enjoyment to own and drive. Serious buyers ONLY! Have any questions? Call Race 214-244-0998.

Ferrari to introduce a V8 hybrid supercar this year

Fri, Feb 15 2019

Ferrari is bringing a new mid-engine V8 supercar to the market this year — but with a hybrid drivetrain this time. Last year, then-Ferrari CEO Sergio Marchionne told Auto Express that a hybrid V8 was coming, and Automotive News is now reporting that a hybrid supercar will debut later this year. According to Automotive News, the new Ferrari won't be displayed at the Geneva Motor Show next month, but it will have an unveiling event of its own later on. It will sit above the 488 Pista, as it will have more power. Automotive News quotes Ferrari CEO Louis Camilleri as having confirmed the car on an earnings call in late January, saying that it will be more profitable than for example the 812 Superfast and that deliveries will start a year from now. The hybrid V8 supercar marks a step ahead for Ferrari, as it means hybrid tech will no longer be reserved to limited-edition specialties like the KERS-boosted LaFerrari, but that the technology will feature in a "regular lifecycle" model. Camilleri also stated that 60 percent of the Ferrari lineup will have a hybrid variant by 2022; this means that there will be pure gasoline variants for petrolheads shunning electric assist, but that Ferrari can also move ahead with the times. The electrified technology that Ferrari is developing is also expected to trickle to Maserati's upcoming Alfieri model that replaces its GranTurismo; that car will also be made in Ferrari's hometown of Modena. Jay Leno gets five of Ferrari's greatest hits together for an epic track day

Tue, Nov 8 2016

America's favorite car guy, Jay Leno, isn't a huge fan of Ferrari. But even he can't stop from gushing over five of Ferrari's greatest cars. Thanks to David Lee, a Ferrari collector and watch dealer, Leno got to drive a Ferrari LaFerrari around a track with the Enzo, F50, F40, and 288 GTO close behind. The short five-minute clip has Leno driving conservatively behind the wheel of the LaFerrari and cautiously enjoying the supercar's 950-horsepower hybrid powertrain. Lee brings up the rear of the Ferrari train in his 288 GTO, while his brothers took the other three Italian supercars onto the track for a leisurely drive. Lee, who is an avid Ferrari collector that brought Leno his 1967 275 GTB4 to drive earlier this year, drives these Ferraris regularly and is extremely passionate about the brand. Despite not being one of Ferrari's biggest fans, Leno has nothing but good things to say about the LaFerrari. The five Ferraris are some of the most sought-after vehicles of all time, and for good reason. The supercars represent the best that Ferrari could do at each of those moments in time. Though it looks like Leno and Lee are going painstakingly slow, they're surrounded by an estimated value of $12 million worth of Italian metal. With a new season of Jay Leno's Garage set to premiere tomorrow at 10 p.m. Eastern Time on CNBC, we're expecting more more footage from this Ferrari fest. Incredible French barn finds could fetch over $18M [w/video]

Sat, Dec 6 2014

We all dream about taking a drive and discovering the mythical barn find of a vintage Shelby Cobra or Porsche Speedster hidden way under a sheet, totally forgotten. An upcoming auction from Artcurial in France on February 6 proves that these treasure troves still really do exist, and this might be one of the ultimate barn finds ever. Decaying away on a French estate, there was a collection of about 100 dirt-covered cars that had been undisturbed for decades, according to The Telegraph. They included all of the great European marques, like Bugatti, Porsche, Maserati, Ferrari and many more. Most of the vehicles were underneath a shed but generally exposed to the elements; however, two very special sports cars were hidden away in a garage (pictured above). In there was a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider with covered headlights. It was one of just 37 made and thought to be lost. Beside the Ferrari was a 1956 Maserati A6G Gran Sport Frua. The collection belonged to Roger Baillon, a French transport magnate, according to Artcurial. He amassed this wonderful collection, but when his business fell on hard times in the '70s, Baillon sold part of the group off. These were the ones he kept, but they eventually went forgotten. Artcurial thinks that only 60 of the cars are actually in salable condition, and they cross the block during the Retromobile Salon in February. The auctioneers believe the Ferrari could sell for as much as 12 million euros (14.74 million) and the Maserati for 1.2 million euros ($1.5 million). Check out the gallery to glimpse the breadth of classics in this collection. Be sure to scroll down for a must-watch, gut-wrenching, patina-laden video showing off the collection and for Artcurial's press release about the sale. This content is hosted by a third party.
