Hi you are looking at a very nice well maintained 1978 Ferrari 308 Targa, This is a carburetor engine car that starts, runs well and sounds excellent! This Ferrari has been meticulously maintained thru out its current owners life and is a real joy to drive on nice days and a definite HEAD TURNER on the road! The Ferrari had the expensive timing belt changed approximately 12 k ago. Overall I would say that this is a VERY NICE well taken care of driver as the paint still looks nice and shinny with only a few very small spots around the out side of the car needing a very little attention. The engine bay looks clean as does the trunk area. The interior is also in very good condition with no rips or tears in the leather seats also the surrounding leather and carpet has a fresh look to it for its age. There is a custom built in schumacker battery maintainer up front to keep the battery fresh and power up while in winter storage. It looks like the jack assy, Ferrari books and spare tire are all there and in there proper place. The last 5 years this car been owned by a dedicated Ferrari enthusiast that only drove the car on evenings out in excellent weather!
THIS FERRARI IS PRICED TO SELL !
The opening bid on this car is well under the actual value and will be sold to the highest bidder!
SORRY NO FOREIGN BIDDERS.
Thank you,
Have a very nice day.

Ferrari reports fewer sales, more profit to prove strategy is working
Thu, 01 Aug 2013Ferrari's angle of emphasizing exclusivity by limiting deliveries is appearing to bear fruit. The company posted a 7.1-percent increase in revenues to 1.7 billion Euros ($2.2 billion at today's exchange rates) during the first half of 2013. Net profits, meanwhile, saw a jump of 20 percent to 116.2 million Euros ($153.5 million). The Prancing Horse delivered 3,767 cars, which, while an increase of 2.8 percent, represents a rate of growth that's slower than in the first quarter of 2013.
While Ferrari may be actively trying to slow its sales down to below 7,000 in 2013, it's seen increased numbers in the US, Great Britain and Germany, along with double-digit growth in the Middle East and Japan (39 percent and 28 percent, respectively).
The move to limit sales should have a greater impact on the numbers that come in later this year, which we told you about back in May. Ferrari's controversial move has already seen a drop in sales to China, which saw 50 fewer Prancing Horses than this time last year.
Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and a Final Four of automakers | Autoblog Podcast #723
Fri, Apr 1 2022In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski. We start out with news on the Lotus Eletre and Ferrari Purosangue. These two high-end crossovers are followed by discussions about the new inline-six engines from Stellantis and an overabundance of Hummer EV orders. Next we try something we've never tried before: ranking automaker blue bloods. We took inspiration from the current NCAA tournament, which features Duke, North Carolina, Villanova and Kansas — very much traditional blue-blood basketball programs — to name our Final Four automakers. Let us know if you agree or disagree with our picks and what your definition of a blue blood car brand is. We wrap up with a discussion about the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk that Jeremy's been driving all week. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. Ferrari launches 488 GTB configurator
Mon, Apr 27 2015Though it may not be as expensive as, say, a Pagani or Bugatti, the bottom line is that most of us will never be able to afford buying a new Ferrari. And most of those who can would probably get one already consigned to a dealer rather than wait on the list. But we can certainly dream. That's where configuration utilities come in, and Ferrari has just added the new 488 GTB to its online customization tool. The system demonstrates just how deeply customers can specify every detail on their new Prancing Horse, from the exterior paint and interior upholstery down to the tiniest detail. Ferrari's lets you choose the color of the brake calipers, the amount of carbon-fiber trim inside and out, the stitching on the leather seats, the color of the carpets and the seat belts. You can even play with the height of the sun in the sky to see how your choices would stand up to the changing light of day. Play around with it first-hand and you'll see, there's really no reason any two should ever have to roll out of Maranello alike. Related Video:
