2006 Dodge Viper Srt-10 Ultra Low Miles, Showroom Condition, All Original Papers on 2040-cars
Evansville, Indiana, United States
Up for auction is my 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 limited edition coupe with only 3,166 miles! This car is numbered 017 of 200. I am the second owner of this vehicle as I purchased it from my uncle with 1,007 miles. This car has been completely babied in every way including its own climate controlled garage, car cover at all times, battery tender, hand waxed often, and on and on. This car has literally never spun its tires as you can see in the pictures of the front and rears. Every tire is the original from the factory and all have well over 90% tread left. The only thing this car has been used for since day one, is the occasional car show and a one way trip from Atlanta to Indiana. The paint is shiny and slick with wax with no scratches, dints, or dings. The interior is also spotless and looks beautiful with black leather/suede with blue stitching and accents. Mechanically, this car has never had a single issue and has had regular service and oil changes at the local Dodge dealership completed by the "Viper Certified" technician. Upgrades Include: Corsa Track Exhaust- chrome (This car sounds MEAN!!!!!) Chrome Side Vent inserts K&N Air Filter Tinted Windows *All receipts are included for all upgrades This car speaks for itself in person. Everyone who sees it asks me if it is a "new" viper. This car needs absolutely nothing, except a new home. My wife and I are building a new house and will not have room due to fewer garage doors. I have the title in hand and ready for a quick transaction. Please don't hesitate to call with any questions or if you want additional pictures. This car is for sale locally so this auction may end without notice. Thanks for looking Andy (812) 568- 7418 |

China's Great Wall confirms its interest — in Jeep, or all of FCA
Tue, Aug 22 2017HONG KONG/SHANGHAI — Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor reiterated its interest in Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV on Tuesday, but said it had not held talks or signed a deal with executives at the Italian-American automaker. China's largest sport utility vehicle manufacturer made a direct overture to Fiat Chrysler on Monday, with an official saying the company was interested in all or part of FCA, owner of the Jeep and Ram truck brands. Automotive News first reported the news, quoting Great Wall Motor President Wang Fengying as saying she planned to contact FCA to discuss acquiring the Jeep brand specifically. Those comments sent FCA shares higher but also raised questions over the ability of China's seventh-largest automaker by sales to buy larger Western rival FCA, or even Jeep, which some analysts value at as much as one-and-a-half times FCA. Great Wall sought to dampen speculation on Tuesday. It confirmed it had studied Fiat Chrysler, but said there was "no concrete progress so far" and "substantial uncertainty" over whether it would eventually bid. "The company has not built any relationship with the directors of FCA nor has the company entered into any discussion or signed any agreements with any officer of FCA so far," the company said in an English-language stock exchange filing. It did not give further detail. Fiat Chrysler stock dipped on the statement on Tuesday. Great Wall said trading in its Shanghai-listed shares would resume on Wednesday after having been suspended. Fiat Chrysler declined to comment on Great Wall's statement. On Monday, it said it had not been approached and was fully committed to implementing its current business plan. FLUSHING OUT RIVALS? Great Wall Motor, which was early to spot China's love of SUVs, had revenue of $14.8 billion last year and sold 1.07 million vehicles - but that compares with FCA's 2016 revenue of 111 billion euros ($130.6 billion). Analysts said Great Wall would need to raise both debt and equity to complete any deal, meaning its chairman Wei Jianjun could lose majority control. One possible scenario, according to analysts at Jefferies, would see Wei keeping a roughly 30 percent stake, while Great Wall would raise $10-$14 billion in debt and $10 billion in equity - hefty for a group currently worth just $16 billion. Ultimately, politics could be the clincher.
2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat
Wed, 29 Oct 2014Including all-wheel-drive models, there are ten versions of the 2015 Dodge Charger. The tenth variant - better described as the ten-tenths variant and the topmost model - is this Charger SRT Hellcat.
Superficially, you already know what it is: take the massively powerful Hellcat engine that's Frankensteined into the Dodge Challenger and stitch it into the recently facelifted Charger sedan.
Oh, but that would be superficial knowledge indeed. Russ Ruedisueli, vehicle line executive and head engineer for SRT, claims the Charger Hellcat is, "The industry's most irreverent four-door supercar." We looked up the word "irreverent" in the Oxford dictionaries, and it turns out the word doesn't mean "707 horsepower," nor "650 pound-feet of torque" nor "3.7-second 0-60 time, and seats five adults." It does mean, "Showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken seriously."
Will Dodge limit 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat to 1,200 units?
Sun, 20 Jul 2014With over 700 horsepower on tap and a price tag barely over $60k, Dodge appears on paper to have a winner on its hands with the new Challenger SRT Hellcat. But if you want to get your hands on one, you may have to act quicker than this most powerful of muscle cars covers the quarter-mile.
That's because, according to our compatriots over at Edmunds, Dodge may limit production - in the first year, at least - to just 1,200 units. That would amount to barely a quarter of the Challengers that Dodge moves each month, and would also mean only one Hellcat for every two Dodge dealers in the US - which could lead to some serious contention over which stores and which customers can get their hands on the ultimate Challenger.
Reached for comment, SRT spokesman Dan Reid told Autoblog that "there is no plan to limit production of the Challenger Hellcat," echoing the words of Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis who told Edmunds: "We don't know what the market demand is." Which doesn't mean that it won't restrict production, but doesn't mean that it will, either. It just hasn't decided yet - or announced any such decision, at any rate - over what will be the final allocation strategy for what could be a game-changing muscle car. That is, at least, until new versions of the Mustang and Camaro come along in pursuit of Dodge's bragging rights...
