2001 Dodge Viper GTS. RARE color combo / Bumble Bee. I purchased this vehicle 3 years ago from a collector offering this car thru Palmer Dodge. My transaction was swift and accurate.  When I bought it this car had 749 miles on it. This car is NEVER driven in the rain, always garaged and covered. This is an occasional night out, weekend driver, great for Date night with the wife, valet, and occasional day trips to the beach. Never raced I have only put about 2100 miles on it myself, averaging 700 / year.  This vehicle is 100% stock GTS. Fully functional with no issues. It is being sold AS IS. There is no warranty and i am not making any representations other than this listing and accuracy of the pictures. Qualified bidders only! Don't waste my time.  I expect it to sell quickly.  As far as I was told it was a one owner car I am the 2nd owner. This car has no accidents, wrecks, or unknown stories. This is pretty straight forward.

This listing Is for buyers only no tire kickers. $1000 deposit due in 24 hours of end of auction and payment in full within 5 business days of the end of the auction.  Payment can be in cash or wire transfer. No checks. Vehicle will not ship until payment is made in FULL.

Don't bid and expect to come here after the fact to inspect it. It's not going to happen. If you are biding you are BUYING. I bought this car without test driving and no one else will test drive it.  This vehicle is in EXCELLENT condition and is represented accurately. You are more than welcome to a 3rd party inspection locally if you would like at your expense or to come inspect before bidding. Buyer is responsible for all expenses associated with transportation. I can assist if needed.

I am selling this vehicle because we are moving and cannot take it with us.

Is Mopar readying a special-edition Dart for Chicago?

Sat, 26 Jan 2013

Chrysler has released the above teaser of a limited-edition Mopar 2013 model that will be unveiled at next month's Chicago Auto Show. Although the automaker doesn't announce what vehicle will get the Mopar treatment, closer investigation of the seats and center console suggest that this car will be a special version of the 2013 Dodge Dart.
This will be the fourth Mopar model in as many years, following on the heels of the Mopar 2010 Challenger, Mopar 2011 Charger and the Mopar '2012 300. There are no details for the Mopar '13 Dart, but we do see that the car will retain the signature black-and-blue color scheme as past Mopar editions. Like these previous models, we expect production of Mopar '13 Dart to be limited to just 500 units.
Scroll down for Chrysler's press release teasing the new Mopar model, and we'll be sure to bring you plenty of live images from the show floor in a couple weeks.

How to turn a Dodge airport tug into a trail slayer

Sun, 16 Nov 2014

Sometimes, having a ton of fun requires takes a ton of work. Just nine days before the so-called Ultimate Adventure 2014, the folks behind 4-Wheel & Off-Road had 40 tasks to complete in order to turn the ratty truck pictured above into a machine that could excel on treacherous off-road trails while still being able to handle highway jaunts. Much of process behind the build was chronicled on the latest episode of Dirt Every Day.
The team's vehicle started life as a 1990 Dodge tug truck that spent part of its life hauling around airplanes. The builders hung on to the Cummins six-cylinder diesel, but they tossed out practically everything else for the project, with some seriously heavy-duty replacement parts for the transmission, transfer case, axles and a whole lot more. The process was certainly a ton of work, but the end result looks like a fantastic crawler.
Sure, it might have been easier to bring a truck that was already prepared, but where would the fun in that have been? Stay tuned until the end of the video for a few glimpses of the completed Dodge and peek at some of the punishment it goes through.

MotorWeek revisits the awesome, original Dodge Viper

Sat, Jun 6 2015

MotorWeek is bringing the automotive world a wonderful blast from the past with its latest Retro Review. Not only does the video feature the now-famous, original Dodge Viper, but this is also a chance to watch one lapping Pocono International Raceway in a test of track prowess. This segment was MotorWeek's first chance to unleash the Viper around a racecourse, and the show took advantage of the opportunity. In addition to the usual 0-60 mph and quarter-mile tests, the 400-horsepower V10 is let loose to do lap after lap. The clip offers a great dose of nostalgia and is worth a watch to remember the intense enthusiasm surrounding the Viper at the time.
