1999 Dodge Viper RT10. 47,000 miles. 450hp. 8.0L V10. 6 Sp. AM/FM CD. A/C blows cold. Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors. Stock. Never modified, other than aftermarket exhaust. No curb rash on any of the wheel. Runs and Drives excellent. Engine is dry with no oil leaks. Maintance records for last 9 years. Body in excellent shape. All body gaps and lines and are perfect. Shows no sign of an accident. Carfax also shows no accidents. Has a little bit of drive wear on lower front bumper from being so low as shown in pictures. I was quoted $600 to fix. Interior is very clean and in almost excellent condition. The car is almost 15 years old so it is not perfect, but it is in very good condition. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country. This is my second Viper. New rack and pinion at 43k due to a oil leak. Tires have a lot of tread. Private Seller, no sales tax in Arizona. $28,500. Blue book is $34,000. Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production

Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.

Toyota, Lexus dominate KBB's Best Resale Value Awards

Toyota and Lexus stormed the 2014 Kelley Blue Book Best Resale Value Awards, winning a combined 18 categories including best brand and best luxury brand. This marks the third year in a row that both automakers have won the Brand and Luxury Brand resale value awards. In all, Toyota won 11 categories and Lexus won seven.
Honda made a good showing, as well, winning two segments (Accord Plug-In Hybrid and Civic Si) and putting one car on the top-10 Best Resale Value list (CR-V). Chevrolet did even better, winning two segments (with the V6 Camaro and the Corvette) and placing three cars on the top-10-overall list (again, the Camaro and Corvette, plus the Silverado 1500).
The other winners came from Jeep, Dodge, Infiniti, Subaru and Audi. To give you a clearer picture of the Toyota and Lexus domination, their 18 mentions represents more than half of the 34 awards (including the top-10-overall list).

Dodge and SRT Motorsports announced that the Dodge Dart will be returning for its sophomore season of the Global Rallycross Championship with a two-car team fielded by Pastrana Racing. Travis Pastrana drove his GRC Dart to victory lane in the fourth race of the car's inaugural season, and his race team is looking for even more success with the addition of off-road racer Bryce Menzies behind the wheel of the second car.
