Vehicle is in great condition, it has 43k miles on it. I bought the vehicle with 35k miles 11 years ago and have kept it garaged the entire time I've had it. Keep in mind it's a 19 year old car soon to be a classic next year so it has some minor wear. It has the typical scratching on the lower section of the front bumper do to how low it sits. There maybe a couple minor rock chips as it does have one rock chip in the windshield. It has a Sony stereo unit with a hidden cassete player behind the fold down faceplate as well as a cd changer in the glove box that was already installed when I bought it. It has the newer style Viper chrome rims as opposed to the gray sawblade style rims. I have the canvas soft top as well that has some minor wear/marks on it, I think mostly from it staying folded up in the trunk as I rarely used it, the cars look so much better without the top on.  The door side curtains I also have but the clear platic portions have become foggy again do to age as they are original. Although this car is very clean, kept garaged and has low miles it has been driven and not kept in a bubble and will have the typical minor flaws as with any used vehicle that has been on the road. The dash has been painted red to match the exterior and has subtle ghost flames around the radio that show when in the sun. Also if you were unaware 1994 was the first year they added Air Conditioning! I also replaced the factory 6 speed shifter with a B&M short shifter that did wonders! It also has Billit aluminum Viper head engraved inner door handle trim bezels. Overall this is a beautiful car that I hate to get rid of but as with life other things come up and I need to sell the car, this is why I'm listing it at a resonable price in hopes to move it quickly!  Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions!  You can send me your phone number if you prefer I call you.

2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

Wed, 29 Oct 2014

Including all-wheel-drive models, there are ten versions of the 2015 Dodge Charger. The tenth variant - better described as the ten-tenths variant and the topmost model - is this Charger SRT Hellcat.
Superficially, you already know what it is: take the massively powerful Hellcat engine that's Frankensteined into the Dodge Challenger and stitch it into the recently facelifted Charger sedan.
Oh, but that would be superficial knowledge indeed. Russ Ruedisueli, vehicle line executive and head engineer for SRT, claims the Charger Hellcat is, "The industry's most irreverent four-door supercar." We looked up the word "irreverent" in the Oxford dictionaries, and it turns out the word doesn't mean "707 horsepower," nor "650 pound-feet of torque" nor "3.7-second 0-60 time, and seats five adults." It does mean, "Showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken seriously."

Dodge lets us drive 100-years' worth of history [w/videos]

Thu, 03 Jul 2014

A raft of important production models from the last hundred years were available for me to either drive or ride in.
Dodge is 100 years old this year. So, as happened on Ford's recent centennial, the 50-year birthday of the Porsche 911, and others, the company has an excuse to trot out the highlights of its history next to its upcoming model lineup, and declare that "these are the fruits of the Dodge Boys' tree whose roots have grown strong." Or something like that. Never so hampered by marketing skepticism that I'll pass up the opportunity to burn someone else's rubber, I was happy to drive out to Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills, MI - former grand estate of the Dodge family - to hear the spiel.

Dodge Viper to out-Hell the Hellcat with supercharged V10?

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

The Viper wouldn't be the Viper if it wasn't the most powerful model under the Chrysler umbrella. But with the arrival of the Hellcat engine in the Dodge Charger and Challenger, the Viper has fallen behind in the bragging rights department: where the new supercharged V8 produces 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated V10 offers "only" 640 hp and 600 lb-ft - gargantuan output figures by almost any other standard, but crucially behind on the SRT power scale. Conner Avenue is going to have to do something about that.
Although the Hellcat's engine reportedly won't fit under the Viper's hood, SRT is now rumored to have another trick up its sleeve: supercharge the existing V10. According to the Pentastar performance enthusiasts at allpar.com, Chrysler has already taken delivery of the first such prototype engines so that it can begin the process of fitting it into an upgraded Viper.
The spooled ten-pot is tipped to produce around 800 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. More than that and the Viper's drivetrain, chassis and bodywork would have to be substantially reworked. Though beefier transmissions are available, fitting them would reportedly set off a domino-game of changes required to handle the added torque. Which may be something Chrysler would be prepared to do for the next-generation model, but in the meantime, 800 hp could prove enough to put the Viper back atop the Mopar performance ladder where it belongs, and give it an edge against the new Corvette Z06 to rekindle sales.
