1994 Dodge Stealth R/t Hatchback 2-door 3.0l 5 Speed Red Clean Car Fax And Title on 2040-cars
Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, United States
I am selling my "toy" 1994 Dodge Stealth R/T
non-turbo. It is in great condition. I have the original build sheet, a clean car fax with no reported accidents and
a clear North Carolina title with two keys. The interior is very nice. Just spent $1,000 on
the engine with a tune up and fixing a few leaks here and there. Mechanic has
gone through this from back to front and it is all good! The exterior has a few
faded spots and nicks. It is a five speed and shifts smooth. There are no known issues with this car. It is
a toy that I keep garaged and use it for cruise nights. I have manuals,
brochures, original build sheet and models. It does have 166K on it, but does
not look it. It is all original and not hacked up! There are not tranny issues,
no noise issues, no motor issues. It is just a cool car that looks fast just
sitting there! It is not a turbo version.
I have bought a new toy and this must go. The dash is GREAT and all the gauges
WORK and there NO check engine lights on. You would be pressed to find a better
running stealth. There are a lot of trashed and beat Stealth’s out there, but
this is not one of them. There are three pieces of chrome molding that wear
over time on Stealth’s. I have three new replacement pieces still in the box and will include them for an additional $250.00. I
have several original sales brochures, Stealth toy models, Warranty book and
manual. The VIN # is: JB3AM54J6RY006331. The car was #759 out of 2493
made that year. The car was built the 1st week of July 1993 at the
Nyyoga plant. There were 4 cars built with the identical Model, Interior and
exterior color, equipment and chassis. Needs: The clear coat
is coming up in a few spots. There is a small tear on the back seat at the top.
It dried up from the sun and cracked. Passenger window operates from passenger side only. The gas cap sticks and we have a brand new latch not installed. I have great feedback on EBAY and you should as well. I
suggest that you inspect the vehicle before you bid. It is currently registered
in North Carolina and starts and runs like a dream. Remember when you bid it is
a binding contract. Winning bidder must send $500 non-refundable deposit within
5 business days. I can store the care up to 30 days inside for free, then
$25.00 per day after that. The buyer is responsible for transporting. We can
help with loading. |

Ron Burgundy returns for four more Dodge Durango ads
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Dodge has released several more of its Anchorman 2-themed commercials, starring Will Ferrell as inept newsreader Ron Burgundy. The four spots, one of which is a sequel to a previous commercial, follow roughly the same pattern as previous ads, with Ferrell's Burgundy misunderstanding or generally making a fool of himself. For some of the ads, though, Burgundy is selling more than just Durangos - the red-suited host of San Diego's most watched news broadcast shilling the entire Dodge lineup.
We've included all four ads down below, and you can also hope over to our original posts to see some of the older commercials. Oh, and if you're getting tired of these - we aren't, aside from the Do-dge spot - just remember that Ferrell reportedly filmed around 70 ads for Dodge.
Chrysler expecting up to 200,000 9-speed transmissions for 3 models this year
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Striving for improved fuel economy, we already knew that Chrysler will begin using a nine-speed automatic transmission in some of its new products this year, but what we haven't known is that volume at which this gearbox will be used. According to Bloomberg, Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has been quoted as saying that the automaker expects to sell close to 200,000 units equipped with this new transmission in 2013. Those gear-rich trannies will be spread out across three models, consisting of the redesigned Chrysler 200, the still-unnamed Jeep Liberty replacement and the Dodge Dart.
This transmission should play a pivotal role in making Chrysler vehicles more competitive in their respective segments. Just for comparison, one of the Dart's key competitors, the Toyota Corolla, still uses a four-speed automatic, and a previous report indicates that the next-generation 200 could get up to 38 miles per gallon on the highway, which is better than most non-hybrid midsize sedans on the market. Marchionne says that the new Jeep model is expected during the second quarter of this year, but there is no word as to when the new 200 or nine-speed Dart will debut, but clearly Dodge would like to have the transmission in its compact yesterday. As for that volume figure, it definitely doesn't seem out of reach since the Dart, Liberty and 200 combined for a total of more than 225,000 units in 2012.
How many more gears can we expect in future cars? Probably not many more, since the CEO of transmission-builder ZF, Stefan Sommer, previously stated that nine speeds was the "natural limit" for transmissions.
2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
Tue, 12 Mar 2013I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.
