Van drives really smooth and accelerates excellently. All the lights work fine. All the mirrors and lenses are in good condition. Super Reliable! The AC and the heater works fine. Loaded with power door, locks, power steering, cruise control. 13' TV, etc. All the power controls seems to works fine. It has AM/FM cassette and CD and they work perfectly. Dash has barely any noticeable cracks. There is a little rust bubble on the bottom of the left rear window( see Picture ). Exterior paints has oxidation which is typical of Dodge vehicles but it can be buffed off but expect some dings and scratches and scrapes due to the age of the vehicle. Interior seats and carpet can use some cleaning. All the gauges seems to work correctly. This van will serve the next fortunate owner for many years and many miles. Plenty of life left. Cheap, reliable and easy to maintain transportation. These vans are good road trip vehicles and will make any trip to anywhere anytime. All the fluids are topped off. Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango to lose color options temporarily

In the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Dodge Durango? Well, if you fancy a more expressive color for your new SUV, you'd better get your order in, or plan on waiting until well into 2015.
The SUVs will be limited to just four monochromatic shades - black, white, silver and gray - until at least February, thanks to an upgrade to the paint shop at the two vehicles' Jefferson North factory. For the Grand Cherokee, that means it's losing more than half its color palette while the Durango is dropping two-thirds of its color catalog.
The loss of colors is inconvenient, but the upgrade will have a slightly bigger effect on the overall supply of SUVs, as Chrysler will need to end its relentless build pace at the factory for a three-week shutdown starting on December 22. The good news for fans of the SUVs is that once the work is completed, we should see a gradual expansion of the color palettes for both the Durango and Grand Cherokee, beyond even what's offered now.

Chrysler recalling 2009-2010 Ram 1500, Dodge Dakota pickups over axle pinion nut

Chrysler is issuing a recall for the 2009 and 2010 Ram 1500 and Dodge Dakota pickup trucks due to improper installation of the rear axle pinion nut. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a total of 44,300 trucks are affected by the recall, and there have been 12 confirmed incidents including one crash.
The issue on both trucks is that the pinion nut is loosening on some trucks due to a lack of thread adhesive, and it is causing the rear axle to lock up resulting in loss of vehicle control. NHTSA's recall notice says that eight incidents occurred at speeds over 35 miles per hour and most also exhibited driveshaft failures as well since the loss of the pinion nut would cause the gear to separate from the driveshaft. In one complaint, the driveshaft separated from the rear axle and punctured the gas tank.
Chrysler will begin sending out recall notices to affected owners in November, but scroll down to see the official NHTSA notice.
