The condition of the exterior, interior and engine can vary depending on the vehicle's history. See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"The vehicle was used as a church bus along with one other dodge van. The tires and battery are practically near new. The van has dual AC but is not working (have not had AC checked out). Engine and transmission run great, starts quickly every time. It is good for travel hauling cargo or people (quick release seats)and towing. I would not be afraid of long distance travel in the van. The interior has minimum wear for the year vehicle. The drivers door lock does not work with key. The exterior paint is spotty on the front hood (it was kept under a canopy with front exposed)and church's name has been sanded down on the sides and backdoor (body is smooth, dark spot on left front of hood is where I sanded it for possible paint). I had plans to paint hood and church name over in original white. Evidently they carried a heavy load on the top, it is slightly dented down(hard to see without getting on top and looking. There are steel steps for the front passenger and side entry passengers."

The vehicle rides and runs good. Tires have plenty of rubber left, practically new. The battery was purchased 2 months ago by me. Great work, hauling, towing or passenger travel van. My original plans were to repaint in original white color (dents and dings or very low to minimum, needs some sanding to ready for paint).  Interested make an offer.

Dodge Viper recall requires small-handed mechanics

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

It has been over a year since Chrysler first announced its recall of 3,660 2003-2004 Dodge Vipers because the airbag could suddenly deploy. The repairs are finally beginning, and it appears to be a nightmare for mechanics.
According to the automaker's filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag control module can fail, which causes the bag or the seatbelt pre-tensioner to deploy without warning. It took over a year to design the new parts, according to The New York Times. However, Chrysler finally has a new "jumper harness with an in-line diode filter circuit" ready to fix the problem.
The dilemma now moves to the mechanics who have to actually install the part. A 47-step guide from Chrysler explains that the procedure should take about two hours. It's not an easy job, though. Most of the dashboard has to be taken apart, and the instructions include this helpful bit of advice: "Installing the jumper harness and filter box into position is not an easy task. Patience, perseverance, and small hands are required." We wish the best of luck to them. The fix comes just in time for the Vipers to enjoy the summer sun.

2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.

Chrysler recalls small number of 2013-2014 cars and trucks over engine debris

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

Chrysler is recalling a small number cars over issues with their 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. The recall, which affects 522 examples of its 2013 Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 models, as well as 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot CUVs has to do with potential debris in the balance shaft bearings.
The abrasive stuff can cause the oil pressure to drop, which could lead to the engine stalling or outright failure. This situation could at best leave drivers stranded and at worst lead to a crash.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners, who will need to report in to have the balance shaft module replaced. All repairs are naturally free of charge. Scroll down for the bulletin from NHTSA.
