This 2006 mega cab is in immaculate shape. I have the clean title in hand, as well as all scheduled maintenance. The truck only has 38,000 miles on it and was taken care of extremely well. The truck comes with 35x12.5x22 Fuel MT tires on 22" black and machined fuel hostage wheels ($3200), and a 5 inch turbo back exhaust with an aero-turbine muffler ($250) with 6" tip. ($500), 3" leveling kit ($250), 20% tint all the way around ($150). It also has all new Fox 2.0 suspension all with reservoirs ($1200). Along with that it comes with brand new pro comp dual Fox 2.0 steering stabilizers ($400). It also has Black Recon LED tail lights, cab lights and 3rd brake light and factory black painted headlights ($600). The truck has a factory navigation system. The truck also comes with heated seats, and a remote start (2). The trim on the interior is a white metallic to match the paint on the outside. You will not be disappointed. Top torque-to-weight ratios under $100k, $50k and $25k
Tue, 07 Oct 2014Horsepower may steal a lot of headlines, but the always-more-complex torque figure is often a critical one for both the workingman and the motoring playboy. The measure of rotational force represents the twist that can liquefy one's tires or haul one's horse trailer. Good stuff.
It follows then, that as with the horsepower-to-weight list that we assembled for you a few months ago, a list of cars that offer the most pound-feet with the fewest pounds to carry, is an interesting one to break down. Sure, there's a big difference in how the torque is applied from a turbocharged six-cylinder in a Swedish luxury sedan and a massive heavy-duty truck's turbo-diesel. But being the car/stat geeks that we are, we think it's kinda neat that those two vehicles rank near each other where torque and weight intersect.
As with the horsepower list, we've given you figures as pounds per every one pound-foot. Again broken down into broad price categories, we've got a mixed bag of 2014 and 2015 models here, too. Every effort has been made to select the most up-to-date prices and specs, and we've also to omitted some '14 cars that won't be re-upped after the ongoing yearly changeover.
Chrysler extends fuel tank warranties on LX cars, NHTSA ends probe
Tue, 18 Feb 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has ended its investigation of 153,817, 5.7-liter and 6.1-liter Hemi V8-powered 2006 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Magnum models after reports of stalling. Chrysler has responded by granting a lifetime warranty on the fuel tanks for these vehicles.
NHTSA received 299 reports of engines stalling while the models were stopped or driving at low speeds, and began an investigation. The government agency found that the control valve shutoff float in the V8s' 19-gallon fuel tank could malfunction if the fuel had too high of an ethanol content. In many cases, the valve would break in the open position, allowing the tank to be overfilled, which would then cause the cars to stall. However, there were no accidents reported, and the vehicles could be restarted immediately.
There will not be a recall on these vehicles because, "the condition represents a low risk to motor vehicle safety and is adequately addressed by Chrysler's extended warranty," NHTSA said to The Detroit News.

Travis Pastrana drove his GRC Dart to victory lane in the fourth race of the car's inaugural season, and his race team is looking for even more success with the addition of off-road racer Bryce Menzies behind the wheel of the second car.
