I have for sale a 2000 Dodge 3500 dually with a 24V Cummins Diesel Engine. it is mated to a 5 Speed manual transmission. the truck has 250k +/- miles on it, but the engine has only 118K. it has 40 horsepower injectors and a brand new injection pump. it also has a brand new F.A.S.S. Lift pump system capable of producing 150 gallons per hour. this is a great supplement to the VP44 injection pump that comes on these engines as these injection pumps are known to go out over time. the F.A.S.S. reduces the wear and tear on the VP44 thus increasing its longevity. it also has an EDGE chip to assist in the utilization of the upgraded injector nozzles. now that I have said all that, this truck is designed to haul loads, pull hay, and move trailers. I did not build this truck to hotrod and abuse it. I am a diesel mechanic and I frequently have to work on all these trucks that people soup up and end up breaking something. I don't dog my truck out or try to burn every Camaro and Mustang that pulls up to the stop light. now having said that, with all the upgrades that I have done, this truck will pull just about anything that I hook it up to. it is a 2 wheel drive and therefore on the highway I am averaging 20 miles to the gallon (not bad for a 1 ton!) it has a Ranchhand rear bumper and a hideaway gooseneck hitch. currently the truck has 5 inch dual stacks, a toolbox and bedrails, but these items are not included in the price. they could be if the price were right. the interior is in great shape other than a small rip in driver seat(Duh!) I installed 6x9 high definition speakers in the doors that sound fantastic when you play some good ol' George Strait through them. the Radio is aftermarket. tires are in good shape and I would be willing to jump in this bad boy and drive it anywhere. my name is Dusty and my number is 432-770-2998. if you cannot reach me(cell service sucks in the oil field) call Zach @ 512-525-5863. I am negotiable.

Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
Does the future of Fiat-Chrysler include Dodge?
Thu, 13 Jun 2013Wards Auto reports the future of Dodge is looking uncertain. Fiat has more or less laid out it's game plan for the next few years, and while the Chrysler, Fiat and Jeep lines are set to receive plenty of love, Dodge isn't so lucky. Fiat has already hobbled Dodge significantly by splitting off the brand's trucks into a separate Ram line.
Wards says that after the Avenger rides off into the sunset early next year, Fiat-Chrysler won't replace the model, leaving a gaping midsize hole in the Dodge lineup. The report also cites unnamed sources as saying that at least two other current Dodge products will move to the Chrysler line.
One of those could very well be the Grand Caravan. Chrysler has already made it clear that it plans to trim redundancy between its minivan offerings, but it has yet to clarify which other vehicle could sail under the Chrysler banner moving forward. Either way, such changes to the product line would theoretically leave Dodge with just four models.
Dodge Scat Pack for 5.7L Hemi V8 detailed, priced
Sat, 05 Apr 2014Dodge revived the Scat Pack name back in November at the 2013 SEMA show. At the time, though, we were short of details on forthcoming upgrade packages, which were destined to add some oomph to the Challenger, Charger and Dart. We're still waiting to hear about the upgrades to the Dart's 2.4-liter four-pot, but Dodge has gone ahead and released the details on the upgrades to the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 in the Challenger and Charger R/T.
As we detailed in our original post, three different Scat Packs will be available that will allow customers to upgrade their cars without voiding the warranties. Starting with the $2,195 Stage 1 kit, owners will net an extra 18 horsepower and 18 pound-feet of torque thanks to a Mopar-branded cold-air intake, exhaust and ECU ref lash. Stage 1 is also the only package that could be installed outside of a Chrysler-authorized service center without voiding the warranty (a mechanically competent owner could even do it at home, we're told by Dodge). Stage 2 builds on the entry level Scat Pack, and adds performance camshaft kit, which boosts output over the stock 5.7 by up to 30 hp for $1,895. As with the Stage 1, the ECU is tweaked.
For those that want to go whole hog, they can add the Stage 3 for $4,995. The top-tier gets quite serious, adding CNC-ported cylinder heads, as well as high-flow headers and cats. Output over stock is 58 hp and 47 lb-ft of torque. Each kit comes with a pair of badges, just in case owners want a bit of visual flair.
