Thank You For Looking At My No Reserve Auction!
2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab / Long (8 FT.) Bed Pick-Up. 2 WHEEL DRIVE. 360 5.9L V8 Engine, automatic transmission, 4.10 gearing. 141,200 miles (mileage may vary slightly). I bought this truck a few months ago from a county here in Michigan where it was used for a parks department. I am the 2nd owner of the truck. It has hand crank windows, manual seats, locks & mirrors, rubber floor, vinyl seats. No cruise control. The dash is NOT cracked. Headliner has minimal damage. All the glass is good, no cracks in the windshield. All 4 doors open but sometimes it takes more effort than usual for the right rear quad cab door to open...& right now its' stuck shut. The truck has damage on the left rear 1/4 panel, rear, & right side. These are probably the worst spots as far as body damage. It has the usual rust on the front door bottoms & some in the rear wheelwells. Front bumper is also dented. There are a few problems with the truck: A/C comes on but the air isn't cold (might just need freon added?). Seats are damaged & were 'repaired' (taped) by the previous owner. One of the door speakers isn't working. The truck pulls to the right a bit; not sure if it's just an alignment problem/tierod, etc. I never had it looked at. Check Engine light comes on every now & then. Transmission buzzes in reverse...but ONLY when it's cold. It still goes in & out of reverse fine. All this said, I've driven the truck around locally on back roads, a few miles on the freeway going 70-75mph. I park it in the same place & there are no puddles from anything leaking. It starts right up on the first try & always has as long as I've owned it. Oil pressure is good, no overheating, etc. Tires are fair...about 60% tread I'd guess. Right rear is more worn...I'd say it's about 25%. Clear (green) Michigan title will be available to the winning bidder. Truck is sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied. $200.00 deposit via paypal is due within 72 hours of auction close. Remaining balance is due in U.S. currency upon pick-up or via paypal. Must be picked up within (10) business days of auction close. Located in Allenton, MI, 48002....about an hour north of Detroit. Due to the problems I've had with new(er) "members", I will not accept bids from anyone with a feedback of 5 or less unless you email me first. Any questions, please use the "Ask a question" link through ebay. There is a video below the pictures of the truck running. CLICK HERE for a video of this truck running |

2013 Dodge Dart GT offers subtle menace in compact form
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Dodge has already shared all of the relevant information about its all-new 2013 Dart GT, but it wasn't until now that we've seen the car, live and in person. The slightly meaner front fascia and bigger wheels look great on the Dodge, and the red-on-black perforated seats are sporting in an aftermarket sort of way.
To recap: The Dart GT also gets a bit more power, using a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine to make 184 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. A starting price of $20,995 will get you LED taillights, dual exhaust, an 8.4-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch TFT display.
Feel free to re-acquaint yourselves with the full Dodge Dart GT information in the press release below, or have a leisurely browse through our gallery of live images.
2018 Dodge Challenger GT Drivers' Notes Review | The right car for the season
Fri, Feb 9 2018Associate Editor Joel Stocksdale: Dodge uses the Challenger GT trim to denote its V6 all-wheel-drive model, but it seems apt for reasons besides that. The Challenger, even with a V6, is an excellent, affordable American grand tourer. It's still extremely stylish, despite barely changing looks since Dodge introduced it for the 2008 model year. The solid gray on this one was particularly attractive. It also seemed appropriate considering the Challenger's battleship size. This thing is truly massive. That's beneficial in the sense that it has an enormous trunk (perfect for touring), but not so much for maneuvering. But thankfully, it's easy to spot the corners, which helps a lot. The Challenger GT is a pretty able handler, too. It feels composed in corners, not too heavy, only mild body roll, and steering that weights up very naturally. The ride is relatively comfortable. It takes the edge off of most pavement imperfections, but you feel more than you might expect. So the Dodge Challenger GT has the style, space, and a decent balance of sportiness and comfort — which just leaves one thing left to address, the powertrain. And as it turns out, the V6 actually works quite nicely in the big Dodge. Under full throttle, you get an angry, throaty honk from the intake that, while not as smooth and classic as a V8, is still fairly satisfying. It also has more than adequate acceleration, if not exhilarating. It's a combo that makes not only a fun affordable GT car, but just a solid commuter with an extra dose of style. The only caveat is that if you need something more truly sporty, you may still want to look at a Camaro or Mustang. Associate Editor Reese Counts: I spent the latter half of last week in Idaho and Wyoming driving a pretty sweet Nissan 370Z in the snow. That car was equipped with tracks and skis and allowed me to do some pretty dumb things with few repercussions, though it was one of the loudest and most uncomfortable cars I've ever driven. Coming home to Detroit and a Destroyer Grey Challenger GT was a very nice change of pace. The thing is, this car is still plenty capable in the snow. I like the Challenger quite a bit, especially in the bonkers Hellcat and Demon guise. But not everyone needs a 700-plus horsepower brute that guzzles gas with a nearly unequalled thirst. The Challenger GT checks a lot of boxes. It looks good, it's comfortable, roomy and thanks to all-wheel drive, genuinely usable year round.
Dodge brings Charger Widebody 'concept' to Spring Fest
Sun, Mar 24 2019Last week we asked if an Instagram user had really seen a Dodge Charger Widebody cruising suburban Detroit. The answer is yes, he had. Dodge brought its Charger Widebody concept to Spring Fest 14, a celebration of everything built on Chrysler's LX platform. Note the use of the word "concept," and a Fiat Chrysler spokesperson telling journos, "We are taking a Charger design concept to Spring Fest to gauge feedback from the huge Dodge Charger, Challenger, and Chrysler 300 enthusiast base that attends the California event each year." Mark Trostle, head of design for Dodge and SRT, shared a few snaps of the Charger Widebody to Instagram. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Now ignore the word "concept." Of course a thing isn't done until it's done, but two years ago a thread on Charger Forums mused on a Photoshop of the sedan as a widebody. User ResumeSpeed chimed in to say, "Rear is not accurate as it's being revised. 2020 model year. Two Charger WB models: Hellcat and 392 Scat Pack." Fast forward to February of this year when Mopar Insider said its sources confirmed a thick-hipped Charger R/T Scat Pack and Hellcat with "drastically different looking front and rear fascias." Then, earlier this month, Allpar received a slide from what looks like an internal Dodge presentation explaining the "2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat Wide Body." The sedan in the slide looks almost exactly like the "concept." And now this. They even designed it with the Dodge Durango SRT grille treatment, which seems like a logical part of that 2020 revision. Giving the Charger a nip and tuck, a little more tire, and a $6,000 surcharge similar to the Challenger Widebody makes too much sense to merely toy with and then file away. Check out this video for a complete walkaround, and stay tuned.
