For sale is my 1993 Dodge W250 4x4 extended cab truck. Engine is a Cummins 12 valve 5.9 Turbo Diesel with an automatic transmission. Truck currently has 268,641 miles.
I bought the truck from Oregon 3 years ago and had shipped, body and frame is not from the rust belt of Wisconsin. Mostly garaged during the past 2 winters. Truck has ice cold AC, power windows, power locks, cruise control, lock out hubs, 3.5 ratio differentials, engine block heater. Truck runs great and the bullet proof 12 valve 5.9, and should last another 250k miles if maintained. Summer of 2012 @ 260,000 miles: - New Tires BF Goodrich AT KO LT265/75R16 $1100.00 - New Billstein shocks front and rear - New Borgeson steering shaft - New Headliner - Replaced all light bulbs. - Interstate Battery new. - New Windshield - Drive shaft U-joints and rebalanced - Tekonsha Prodigy 3 brake controller and trailer wiring added - New Radiator - New Water pump / tensioner / Gatorback belt - Replace transmission ATF/ Flush cooling system / Gear Oil in Transfer case and differentials. Recently replaced both rear brake drums and shoes. Front Disc's are in good shape. The only items I see are an alignment (pulls to the right, but have been driving it and it's not terrible) and the automatic transmission does not "lock" between Neutral/D/2/1. It has been like this since I owned the truck, you can move the shifter between them but it doesn't click into each position. Has not been a problem for me to drive this way. Also cassette player doesn't always work in the radio when first powered up. The reason I am selling is I bought a new 2014 truck, and have too many trucks and thinning the herd. Clear Wisconsin title in my name. Truck is located in Baraboo,WI 53913 and is available by appointment to inspect. Downpayment of $500 is due via paypal with 24 hours of auction ending. I will accept cash upon pickup for the remaining amount. Checks will be held 10 business days to clear before truck is available for pickup or shipping. Full payment due withing 7 days of auction closing. Truck sold as-is and no warranty is implied. I can load onto any trailer (have outdoor loading ramps for step decks and flatbeds) Truck is for sale locally. Any questions please ask. Thanks! Junkyard Gem: 1963 Dodge Dart two-door sedan
Mon, Mar 6 2017The 1963-1966 Dodge Dart, sibling to the Plymouth Valiant, was sturdy, cheap, and easy to drive, and it sold very well. Here's a worn-but-solid example of the two-door '63 Dart sedan, spotted in a Denver-area self-service wrecking yard. The only transmission choices for the Dart this year were a three-speed manual and an automatic controlled by Chrysler's famous dash-mounted pushbutton shifter. These shifters worked surprisingly well, even when used for road racing. Starting in the 1964 model year, the Dart could be purchased with a 273-cubic-inch V8 engine, but in 1963 Dart buyers had but two engine choices: a slant-6 displacing 170 cubic inches and good for 101 horsepower and a slant-6 displacing 225 cubic inches and making 145 horsepower. This car has the big engine. This is one of the most reliable engines to come out of Detroit, period. The interior is pretty beat, but the metal isn't rusty. You'd think that someone would have rescued this car long before it came to this sorry end, but perhaps Dart restorers only want numbers-matching V8 cars these days. SRT partners with Bondurant for performance driving classes
Fri, Nov 6 2015Dodge and Bob Bondurant have announced a new partnership that will see the latter become the former's official high-performance driving school. The deal will see the Bondurant school's entire fleet of nearly 100 vehicles switched over from mostly General Motors products to Dodge Chargers, Challengers, and Vipers. It will give paying customers the chance to drive models like the new Hellcats and even the Viper ACR (for those deemed qualified to drive it) on the track in Arizona. The arrangement won't only benefit Bondurant clients, though. Anyone who buys or leases a new SRT model will get a one-day course at the school, including professional instruction on track. They'll have to pay for their own travel and accommodations, but the instruction will hopefully show more drivers of SRT vehicles how to handle all that muscle they've got at their disposal. DODGE/SRT PARTNERS WITH LEGENDARY BOB BONDURANT SCHOOL OF HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVING The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving Is Now "The Official High Performance Driving School of Dodge/SRT" - All customers who buy a new 2015 or 2016 model SRT will receive one full-day session of high-performance driving with professional instruction and time on the track as part of the Dodge/SRT package - Bondurant attendees will get to experience the full line of Dodge/SRT vehicles, including the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger Hellcats - Bondurant's entire fleet of cars is being converted over to Dodge Chargers, Challengers and Vipers - Non-Dodge owners can purchase racing instruction through Bondurant and experience their full line of Dodge SRT vehicles on the track - Racing participants who qualify will get to experience the Dodge Viper ACR, the fastest street-legal Viper track car ever November 3, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - New Dodge/SRT buyers grab your racing shoes and helmets – Dodge is teaming up with the legendary Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving to create "The Official High Performance Driving School of Dodge/SRT." Starting Jan. 1, 2016, Dodge customers who purchase or lease a 2015 or 2016 Dodge/SRT can experience a high-performance driving class with professional instruction and time on the track where they can develop their racing and driving skills in a one-day performance-packed adventure. Dodge will provide the rides – nearly 100 SRT vehicles – including the 707-horsepower Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcats.
Dodge Charger Hellcat makes 1,032 hp with Hennessey help
Fri, Feb 26 2016Sometimes you just want four doors. Earlier this week we brought you Hennessey's riff on the Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Now comes the Charger. Much like its two-door sibling, the Charger gets boosted to as much as 1,032 hp and 987 lb-ft of torque (at the crank) thanks to the addition of a twin-turbocharging setup that works with the factory supercharger. The turbo headers and downpipes are stainless steel, and there is a high-flow air-to-water intercooler and dual-turbo waste gates. Hennessey also beefs up the fuel injectors, fuel pump, and the rest of the fuel system. The engine management system and chassis are recalibrated to accommodate all of this. You also get numbered plaques signed by John Hennessey, the boss of the Texas tuning outfit, and the technician who does your build. Hennessey's additions result in zero-to-60 mph sprints in 2.7 seconds, and the big sedan can run the quarter mile in 9.9 seconds at 142 mph. Like the Challenger, the Charger has the same disclaimer: the lofty horsepower figure comes from an engine dyno, and it will be a 15-to 20-percent lower at the rear wheels.
