2007 Dodge Ram Mega Cab Laramie for sale. Truck is in great condition. It has one scratch on the passenger side door about 6 inches long, and has a small door ding in the passenger side door as well. Truck has normal wear on it. No large dents, or rust anywhere on truck. Underneath of truck is spotless. No mechanical issues on this truck. Recent things done to truck include brakes, tie rods, and water pump. Truck is sound as drives down the road nice and straight. The bed of the truck has a dodge carpeted bed liner. The interior of the truck is also spotless free of any stains on the carpet or tears in the seats. The driver seat is showing very minor wear, but outside of that the seats are flawless. Everything on the interior of the truck functions properly. This truck has been adult driven its whole life and not been off the road.It has been very well maintained, and taken care of. The truck has been great and gets a lot of attention. I recently bought a new truck, so this truck is getting sold for that reason. You will not find a cleaner Hemi Laramie mega cab out there. I did a lot of research before putting this truck online, and have been watching other trucks go for more than what I want out of this one that are not Laramie models, and were not as clean. My reserve price on this truck is below Kelly Blue Book pricing. You will not be disappointed in this very clean mega cab ram. Truck is very solid and drives like a stock one.

COUPLE OF NOTES: This truck is a heavy half ton. Essentially this truck is a 3/4 ton, however it is titled as a 1/2 ton in this model year. In 2008, they had the same exact trucks titled as a 3/4 ton. This truck has 8 bolt wheels, frame and full front axel. I just don't want buyers to get confused at all. So what im saying is that you are essentially looking at a 3/4 ton truck.  Mileage will increase a little bit over auction time.

Please feel free to contact me about anything concerning this truck.

Didn't get the toy you wanted for Christmas? Grab this '79 Dodge Macho Power Wagon

Thu, Dec 26 2019

This Christmas, kids everywhere got tons of toys, but what about the grownups? Adults like toys, too, and we particularly like this 1979 Dodge Macho Power Wagon pickup for sale on eBay. Dodge plugged it as one of its "adult toys" back in the day, which makes it the perfect post-Christmas purchase for anyone who's feeling a little left out. Dodge began advertising a lineup of specialty trucks as "adult toys" back in 1977, during the period when trucks were first becoming personal-use vehicles rather than just workhorses. Dodge's specialty models ran though the end of the decade and included the Street Van version of its B-series panel van, the Macho Power Wagon 4x4 pickup, the Warlock short-bed stepside pickup, the Ramcharger SUV, and even a variant of the Ram 50 mini-pickup. The Macho Power Wagon was a 4WD W100 pickup with a Sweptline bed, and could be had in short- or long-wheelbase configurations. Two-tone paint included black on the lower body, the hood, and the roof. Tape stripes, painted spoke wheels, and a bed-mounted roll bar added to the look. This '79 Macho Power Wagon is a long-bed version, riding on a 131-inch wheelbase. It's powered by a 318-cubic-inch V8 with dual exhausts, mated to a three-speed column-shift automatic and four-wheel drive. Not the most manly powertrain, maybe, but it was the late '70s, and one's engine wasn't as important as one's graphics. This Power Wagon's visuals make an emphatic statement indeed, with the two-tone white and black livery set off with bright orange stripes, wheels, and most critically, POWER WAGON emblazoned on the bed and tailgate. It's enough that we can forgive the missing roll bar. Inside, we find a vinyl bench seat, a floor-mounted shifter for the two-speed transfer case, and a period-correct Craig cassette stereo. Factory A/C is also present. Sure, you could get a new Ram 2500 Power Wagon, but would that really have the gold-chain-in-a-bed-of-chest-hair swagger of this beast? If this Adult Toy speaks to you, we would point out that sometimes the best presents are the ones you get yourself. Related Video:

Jeep Wrangler 4xe's hybrid powertrain: Could it be headed to other FCA products?

Fri, Sep 4 2020

On its own, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid is a big deal for the brand and the model line. It's the most powerful and most efficient Wrangler by significant margins, and it doesn't give up the off-road capability that makes the Wrangler so special. But another great thing about this hybrid powertrain is its potential to be transplanted into other FCA vehicles. Just to recap, the layout of the Wrangler's hybrid powertrain, front to back, is as follows: engine, clutch, electric motor, clutch, transmission. The engine is the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that's a standalone engine for the Wrangler. The transmission and electric motor are sort of one unit, with the motor and clutch replacing the torque converter of the transmission. And the transmission itself is the ubiquitous eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox. Its transmission code name is 8HP75PH. The ZF eight-speed is available in every FCA product with a longitudinally-mounted engine and rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, with variations in the amount of power and torque it can handle. Not only that, but the Ram 1500 and 2500 and the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator all have powertrains that utilize the non-hybrid version of the 8HP75 transmission specifically. Even the gear ratios for that transmission as well as the 8HP70 used in the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango, Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 are nearly identical to those in the 8HP75PH. And a Fiat-Chrysler representative confirmed that the transmission portion of the hybrid drivetrain is basically carry-over from the regular 8HP75. So a transplant could be a relatively simple process. As for which of these models would be the most likely to receive the hybrid powertrain first, the Jeep Gladiator and Ram 1500 would seem like good bets, since they likely have the most similar transmissions, and the Gladiator in particular because of its closely-related underpinnings to the Wrangler. Both are also highly profitable trucks that sell well and could justify the development costs of adapting another powertrain. And in the case of the Ram, there's the impending F-150 hybrid to think about. Although Ram isn't going after a fully electric model, a PHEV could be a nice middle ground. A potential limiting factor would be whether the hybrid powertrain would be sufficiently robust to handle heavy payload and towing demands, particularly over longer periods.
