Dodge Ram 1500 SRT-10 Quad Cab 2005

V10 VIPER MOTOR

This is a Very well maintained SRT-10.

I am only the Third Owner, It was Purchased new From a Guy that worked at the Viper Store down in Miami, He had several Vehicles and put few miles on the truck. Since he did work at the Viper store he Installed a Fully tuned Viper Computer and kept the original computer (which Will come with the Vehicle). He eventually wanted a New Mercedes and Wanted to trade it in along with another vehicle. One of the Guys working at the Mercedes Dealership really like the vehicle and was able to just purchase it from him.
He then kept it for several years. He to had several Vehicles and drove it on the weekends. After he retired he wanted to do some other things and that’s when I purchased the vehicle.
I have since added new Pirelli Zero Tires on the 22inch Wheels.
Added Polyurethane bushings on the rear and Installed a one inch drop shackles to give the truck a more level look. I just recently had the rear axle fluid changed wife new Mobile one factory spec fluid and limited slip additive add.

This truck Is in pristine condition, Inside and out. The leather and swayed interior is in perfect condition along with the carpet.  It has the full Infiniti Stereo system w/ Sub, XM, and turn by turn navigation
Has a Hi flow Intake Filter that just roars when you give it some heavy throttle, matching the sound of the exhaust perfectly.

I love this truck, it’s a BEAST. I’m putting it one the market because I have a 1yr old Son and looking at adding another addition to the family. I’m planning for the future and trying to get caught up on a few things before the upcoming adventure. I have several Vehicles so this one is a weekend driver. I only have 53K miles on the Truck. I think what I’m asking for the truck is Fair and will entertain Offers. But, please don’t call/text/Email offering $22,000 or lower. I do know there are some of these trucks out there for $22-24K with over 100k miles.

FCA, Ford idle plants due to semiconductor shortage

Fri, Jan 8 2021

DETROIT (Reuters) - Ford and FCA will become the latest automakers to idle production facilities due to a semiconductor shortage. Ford's Louisville Assembly Plant in Kentucky will idle for a week, borrowing a down period from later in the year to compensate. Per Automotive News, FCA is idling its Brampton facility in Ontario, Canada, and one other site which has not yet been identified.  Louisville Assembly is the production site for the Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair SUVs; Brampton Assembly produces the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger for FCA.  A Ford spokeswoman, who declined to identify the semiconductor supplier, confirmed the temporary shutdown to Reuters. In this, FCA and Ford join Nissan and potentially Honda in idling production in the wake of the shortage, which also hit Volkswagen late last year. The shortages are being blamed on consumer demand for silicon after production slowdowns resulting from the coronavirus pandemic. Volkswagen said it had to adjust production schedules in China, Europe and North America to compensate.  Nissan said it planned to reduce production of the Note, a hybrid electric car, at its Oppama Plant in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan, but did not give details of the scale of the output cut. The Nikkei newspaper reported that Nissan would slash its Note production at Oppama to about 5,000 units in January, from an initially planned 15,000 units. "A global shortage of semiconductors has affected parts procurement in the auto sector. As a result of this shortage, the Oppama Plant in Japan will adjust production in January, reducing production of the Nissan NOTE," Nissan said in a statement. Jay Leno's 426-powered 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 is simple and simply fun

Wed, Dec 21 2016

This week on Jay Leno's Garage, the man in denim presents one of his most subdued-looking cars, a 1966 Dodge Coronet 500. Despite that, it's one of his favorites. As he shows, the car is nearly free of any unnecessary options, excepting bucket seats and a console shifter. At least those are the only visible options, since the original owner also opted for the massive 426 cu. in. Hemi V8. What Leno really likes about the car is the honking huge V8 combined with the car's simplicity, especially the lack of frivolities like scoops, stripes, and wings. It's finished in a low-key, dark metallic green, and has plain-Jane "dog dish" wheel covers. The one downside to the vehicle is the lack of stopping and turning ability, Leno says, which is not surprising considering the four-wheel drum brakes and lack of power assist. And keep in mind, the Coronet is not a small car. Still, it's a mean green machine, and it sounds great. Leno also demonstrates the engine's capability to chirp the tires going into second gear, despite having a three-speed automatic and a relatively tall 3.23 rear axle gear ratio. Check out the video above to get the whole story and to hear rumbling V8 noises. Related Video:

Aficionauto drives Vin Diesel's fast and furious 1970 Dodge Charger

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

The Aficionauto host Christopher Rutkowski has a real passion for original and replica cars from movies and television, whether they are from James Bond, Jurassic Park, or incredibly obscure Japanese shows. However, he might have outdone himself this time because he hopped into one of the biggest automotive stars of contemporary cinema. This 1970 Dodge Charger appeared in Fast & Furious and came back in Fast Five, where Paul Walker actually drove it. The menacing, black muscle car will make its return to the franchise in the seventh film, too.
The Fast and Furious Charger is a real beast no matter how you look at it. The interior is nothing more than two seats and a roll cage, and as the video shows, this thing vibrates constantly like a coiled mass of muscle ready to strike. The camera can barely stay in place most of the time. Also, Dom's Dodge is more than happy to do a smoky burnout and leave the driver partially deaf afterward from its wonderful, ear-splitting engine roar.
The Aficionauto also interviews the man who controls the keys to this beast. Bob Hartwig was once an F-15 pilot, but he also loved Hollywood vehicles. Now, he's a partner at Picture Car Warehouse, a company with about 850 cars that supplies vehicles to film studios. This Charger definitely seems to be Hartwig's favorite in the collection, as it should be.
