This pickup looks as well as it drives! I'm nearing retirement and want to buy newer vehicles for both the wife and myself. What I would consider in a trade, primarily a low mileage, late model pickup with good options, consideration will be given to an earlier muscle car that has practical value for re-sale.  Other trades could be older muscle cars or any other vehicle that will have a strong resale value because I personally am looking for a newer pickup.

This truck rides and drives fantastic, the powerful V8 runs strong and the transmission is solid  and only has 76,500 miles on the vehicle. This truck has always been well maintained and is extremely clean inside and out besides running fantastic & great looking too !!!!

A description of the vehicle includes:

  •   5.7 Hemi Magnum 5.7 V-8 engine runs like new and is accompanied with an automatic transmission with overdrive.
  •  Power driver's seat
  •  Gray cloth split bench seating
  •  Power windows
  •  Power door locks
  •  Power & heated mirrors
  •  Tilt steering wheel
  •  "VERY" cold Air Conditioning
  •  Overhead trip computer
  •  Cruise control
  •  Premium 17" polished wheels with Goodyear Wrangler P265/70R 17 tires (these wheels are off of a 2011 Ram)
  •  Cargo light and a rear sliding center window
  •  Driving lights

Always garaged, this truck is 100% factory paint with a very straight body.

Additional add-on accessories include a:

  •   Reese style tow hitch and wiring (both 4-wire flat and 7-wire round)
  •  Electric trailer brake controller
  •  Chrome side step bars
  •  Soft tri-foldable tonneau cover (new last fall)
  •  It has both a hood bug deflector and sun/rain guard smoke vent shade window visors.
  •  Molded flat black fender flares

Title in hand, Very clean interior, Well maintained Serious inquires only. Possibly open to trades? This is an outstanding vehicle, buy with confidence, and save, it is as good as it looks.  Non-smoking, title in hand and a very reliable vehicle.    Please contact me with any questions by message or call 419-341-5610.

Dodge shows can-do attitude with grand Can'avan sculpture

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

There are lots of ways to celebrate an important birthday, and all of them are well deserved. You can throw a big party, buy yourself something nice, or - if you're the altruistic type - do something for others in need. The latter is how Chrysler has opted to mark the 30th anniversary of its Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country.
Together with hunger-advocacy organization Canstruction, the Chrysler Foundation has built a full-scale replica of the Grand Caravan out of 30,000 food cans in the square at the corner of Yonge and Dundas in Toronto, a ways down the highway from where the real vans are built in Windsor. The sculpture was built over the course of 10 hours by 30 volunteers and was displayed earlier this week.
Now the installation is being taken down, and the cans of food are being donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank, which will assemble them into 2,000 food baskets to be distributed to those in need through its network of 200 food banks across the Canadian metropolis. Check out a neat time-lapse video of the build and the press release below.

MotorWeek proves '90s were awesome with Supra, Stealth, RX-7, Corvette, 968, 300ZX comparo

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

Oh, the heady days of 1993, back when the Clinton Presidency was just getting underway, and it seemed like every hot new rock band was coming out of Seattle. Sports cars in the US had finally shaken off the shackles that slowed them during the '70s and '80s, and you could buy any number of legitimately quick vehicles again. MotorWeek recently went digging into its archives to find this six-model test from 1993 showing off some of the best semi-affordable performance coupes that money could buy at the time, and it's priceless.
Featuring the 1994 model year Toyota Supra in twin-turbo guise and MY 1993 versions of the Porsche 968, Nissan 300ZX TT, Mazda RX-7, Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo and Chevrolet Corvette LT-1, MotorWeek definitely covered all of the bases. One thing that might surprise younger readers is these cars' performance. The video only provides 0-60 acceleration times, but several of these vehicles would still be considered pretty potent today - over 20 years since going on sale. The Supra is especially impressive, hitting 60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds. Even today, that's nothing to sneeze at.
Given their performance potential and still-attractive looks, it's amazing that some of these coupes are old enough to drink now. The progress of interior design and safety equipment in the intervening years is pretty shocking, though. In most of these models, having two airbags is touted as a big deal. Scroll down to watch a Throwback Thursday blast from the past about some of the '90s best sports cars.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has 707 glorious horsepower [w/video]

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

Hold onto your butts. "600-plus horsepower" is what we were told to expect from the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 engine. But as we've just learned, those were incredibly conservative numbers. Dodge has officially announced that the range-topping Challenger will hit the asphalt with 707 - seven hundred and seven - horsepower, making it the "most powerful muscle car ever."
Of course, 707 hp is only part of the story, as the Hellcat has also been confirmed to produce 650 pound-feet of torque. All that power will run exclusively to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission that differs from other Challengers. The new gearbox, 8HP90 (rather than the 8HP70) is "upgraded to handle the extra power and torque," says Dan Reid, SRT's manager of product design and motorsports.
We certainly hope you're prepared to spend a ton of money replacing tires.
