2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Slt on 2040-cars
Peru, Indiana, United States
This truck runs great, had it for 4 years and I am the third owner. The first owner put only a couple thousand miles then it was sold to a guy in the deliver business. He put 100,000 miles, mostly highway on it and sold it to me. Since then I have drove it mostly to school and work. My school was 30 miles away all highway. This truck's powertrain is in very good condition, it runs great. I've had no problems with the engine or transmission whatsoever. I have put in an aftermarket audio system including; a head unit, subwoofer, and amplifier. I also have a Diablosport Predator PCU tune for better gas mileage, the truck was mostly ran with 93 octane gas. And had the oil changed regularly. The only towing I've done with this truck was my 2,000 pound Yamaha boat and it had no problems pulling it. The exterior is in good condition no major scratches or dents. And the inside is great condition only a small hole in the drivers seat. The reason I'm getting rid of the truck is because I leave for the Marines soon and don't want to be stuck under the payment while I'm gone. If not for that I would probably use this truck for 4 more years no problem. Some other things I've done is added window tint, muffler delete, and leveling kit. It sounds great and looks great most people have no clue it's 10 years old. Feel free to text me at (765) 469-7838 or email at bmarburger@live.com with any questions or concerns. |

Dodge Vipers selling for $480k in China
Wed, Apr 29 2015Want to get your hands on a new Dodge Viper? Be prepared to pay dearly. It starts at nearly $90k here in the US, but that's nothing compared to what you'd have to pay for one if you lived in, say, China. CarsNewsChina.com reports on one Viper available in Beijing for an eye-watering 298 million yuan – equivalent to about $480,000 at today's exchange rates and representing more than a 500-percent markup. Part of that premium comes down to the Chinese tax code that charges a reported 60 percent for anything with an engine displacing over four liters. And the Viper's, we needn't remind you, is more than twice that. It naturally costs some to import a car to China as well, but most of the rest is pure profit. The Beijing dealership reportedly gets the cars from dealers in California, has already sold three and plans to import several more. The dealer can also get you (or wealthy Chinese individuals) a Corvette Stingray for a comparatively cheap 1.73 million yuan (or $280k). Related Video:

The 2013 GRC season kicks off on April 21 in Brazil with plenty of dirt-spewing, ramp-jumping action. Scroll down for a video from the cars' main sponsor, Red Bull, and a press release from Chrysler.
Mopar Dodge Challenger special edition celebrates a mod decade
Thu, Aug 29 2019Despite the current Dodge Challenger hitting the age of 11 this year, it continues to be a top seller for the brand. One of the reasons for its popularity is its customizability. FCA acknowledges this with the just-revealed, limited-edition Mopar 2019 Dodge Challenger celebrating its factory-backed performance parts and accessories straight from the its own in-house parts division. For 10 years, Challenger owners have benefited from upgrades directly from Chrysler’s Mopar division. This has been a big deal because tuning a car often required aftermarket parts, which could jeopardize factory warranties. But with upgrades directly from original equipment manufacturers, such a risk was eliminated. “Over the last decade, weÂ’ve customized an impressive group of vehicles with exclusive Mopar performance parts and accessories that our enthusiast customers crave,” said Mark Bosanac, head of Mopar Service in a statement. “This year weÂ’re commemorating our tenth Mopar build with another unique and collectible Dodge Challenger, which continues to be the modern muscle car every bit as beloved today as the first-generation vehicle was 50 years ago.” The 2019 Mopar Dodge Challenger starts life as R/T Scat Pack model. Under the hood sits a 392-cubic inch (6.4-liter) Hemi V-8 with 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque with the choice of a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic. But Mopar sweetens the deal by adding a performance cold-air intake, strut tower braces to improve structural rigidity and handling, as well as strut caps and braces painted in silver for eye candy whenever the hood is popped. ItÂ’s only available in two hues, Pitch Black or White Knuckle, and comes with a variety of bespoke interior and exterior upgrades. They include special Mopar Shakedown graphics and blue striping from the front fascia all the way back to the rear decklid spoiler. Completing the look is a set of 20x9-inch forged aluminum wheels wrapped in Goodyear P245/45ZR20 performance tires and the optional shaker hood package made standard. Sales commence next month with a starting price of $45,835.
