2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4 Door 4x4 4.7l on 2040-cars
Hawley, Pennsylvania, United States
You are looking at a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 4 door. Truck has typical rust on bed as most trucks of this year do (see pics). Front bumper was hit in parking lot (hit and run). Replace bumper or drive as is. Has typical nicks, dings and scratches for a 10 year old truck. Interior is typical for a truck of this age. Ash tray will not stay closed. Everything else works as it should. Engine light is on at this time. Had it reset by the dealer a couple times in the last seven years because of a gas cap diagnostic code. Does not affect how it drives. Truck has a reconstructed Title and a reconstructed VIN#. I bought it back in 2007 as a recovered theft from Michigan. It is now titled in PA. If you are a PA resident the title transfer will be no problem. Out of state buyers should research reconstructed titles in thier state before bidding. I haven't had any major problems with it over the past 7 years other than normal maintenance. Just passed PA inspection and is good until next February. Had both lower front ball joints and right front axle replaced. Oil was changed regularly and was just changed upon inspection. Tires have about 30% tread left. Wheels are original and have pitting, scratches and some gouges. Comes equipped with tow package and brake controller. Has 1500 lb helper springs installed for load leveling. I would say it is in fair condition for it's age. Still runs good and has decent miles for a 10 year old vehicle. Serious bidders only. There will be a $300 nonrefundable deposit do to nonpaying bidders in the past. My feedback speaks for itself. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, ASK BEFORE YOU BID! Thanks and good luck.

2 men die in Dodge Challenger Hellcat crash at Colorado airport
Tue, Sep 12 2017Two friends died in the crash of a Dodge Challenger Hellcat over the weekend after they shot off the end of an airport runway, authorities said. That someone died in a 707-horsepower Hellcat is, sadly, not unexpected. But two aspects of the story are remarkable. First, the men's ages: The Denver Post reports the crash victims were Lynd Fitzgerald, 71, of Colorado Springs, and his passenger, Roger Lichtenberger, 76, of San Marcos, Calif. Second, their speed: The car was likely moving at over 100 miles per hour, authorities said. The men had permission to use the 8,300-foot runway at Central Colorado Regional Airport in Buena Vista. That's more than a mile and a half long. But when the car left the runway, it went 300 feet before flying over a ravine, hitting the ground, becoming airborne again, flipping end over end across a second ravine, and ultimately landing on its wheels 650 feet past the end of the pavement. Responding police officers tried to provide first aid, but the men were declared dead at the scene. "They were just test-driving this car. They went a little too fast. I don't want to surmise. ... They probably got to the end of the runway and, at that speed, didn't realize they were there so fast. And they lost control. It was just too high a speed and they got to the end of the runway," said Chaffee County Sheriff John Spezze. There were skid marks near the end of the runway, but the sheriff didn't know the length. "I've never seen anything like it," Spezze told the newspaper. "They had permission to be there. There were no laws broken." Related Video:
FCA CEO Mike Manley will take undefined new role after PSA merger
Wed, Dec 18 2019MILAN — Fiat Chrysler Chief Executive Mike Manley will remain with the new group set to result from a planned merger with French rival PSA-Peugeot, Chairman John Elkann said on Wednesday. In a letter to Fiat Chrysler (FCA) employees on the day the two companies announced a binding agreement for a $50 billion tie-up to create the world's fourth-largest carmaker, Elkann said he was "delighted" that the combined group would be led by current PSA CEO Carlos Tavares. "And Mike Manley, who has led FCA with huge energy, commitment and success over the past year, will be there alongside him," he said. He did not say what position Manley would hold. Elkann — who will chair the new group — said there was still much to be done to complete the merger. "Over the coming months we must work tirelessly and determinedly to fulfill all the approval requirements needed to finalize the commitment we have signed," he said. Mopar '13 Dart priced from $25,485*
Wed, 12 Jun 2013For the past few years, Chrysler's Mopar in-house tuning division has created its own one-off versions of several cars in the automaker's portfolio, including the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger and Mopar '12 300. For 2013, the black-and-blue up-do has been given to the new Dart compact, and Chrysler has announced that the limited-edition sedan is now available for order, priced from $25,485, not including *$995 for destination.
Like previous Mopar edition vehicles, the Dart is painted in a signature Pitch Black exterior with an offset blue racing stripe. The sedan sits seven millimeters lower to the ground and gets visual add-ons like a chin spoiler, decklid spoiler and rear diffuser, along with gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Performance wise, the Dart's 1.4-liter MultiAir inline four-cylinder engine remains, producing 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Mopar car gets a sport-tuned exhaust system along with revised power steering calibration and beefier brakes.
