2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport on 2040-cars
Mc Grath, Minnesota, United States
Email me at : VidaDavisa092o404@yahoo.com I have owned my truck for about 7 years. Last owner owned it since 2001. Hesimply used the truck to compute to work mainly. Said he pulled a small boat afew times. Dodge never has had a fifth wheel plate. Since I've owned it hasonly pulled a car trailer. Was painted once before I got it. Has bubbles showingat bottom of doors. Also has bubbles showing on top of box fender well ondrivers rear. I listed pictures of bubbles. For a Minnesota truck it is verysolid. I have changed oil around 5000 mile intervals since I've owned it.Within the last two years I've replaced the starter, alternator, waterpump, front brakes and a week ago I replaced the air conditioner pump and hadthe air recharged. I also had the transmission rebuilt with a heavy dutyrebuild. New torque converter, total cost was $2600. The Dodge has always beenmaintained very well. At this time I don't think it needs anything. Tiresare 285/75-16 load range E that are over half tread. Interior is very clean andin good condition. I also installed the frame tie up by the steering sector. Itallows the truck to drive better down the road. Only thing not stock on thetruck is I straight piped it which in my opinion allows it to run better. I putnew sport headlights in it. The stake sides will be off the truck. I'm sureI'm missing something. If I think of it I'll up date later. I haveloved the truck. I have clear title in my name. Only reason it's for saleis I bought another one with half the miles and rust free. This truck shoulddrive home trouble free. Please ask questions as I want everyone happy with thispurchase. I will post a Buy it Now if we agree on a price.

Dodge Dart Mopar '13 special edition recalled over airbag woes
Mon, 09 Dec 2013Dodge is only building 500 examples of the black-and-blue Mopar '13 Dart, but the majority of them are now being recalled. Part of the Mopar upgrade included replacing the stock seat skins in the Dart with black and blue Katzkin leather, but the seat-mounted side airbags were reinstalled improperly during the upfitting process, which could affect the performance of the front seat side airbags.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration bulletin, a total of 374 Mopar '13 cars are being recalled due to side airbags that might not deploy in a side-impact collision. There have been no reports of the airbags not going off, but Chrysler will still need to reinstall the bags to ensure proper deployment. The recall notice is posted below, which gives information for Mopar '13 owners to contact Chrysler and NHTSA.
This 93-car Iowa auction is like a Big 3 classic muscle museum
Tue, Aug 27 2019Bill "Coyote" Johnson has been buying cars since high school and has amassed a collection totaling 113 vehicles, according to NBC 6 News. But time has changed his motivations and priorities, and he's decided to auction 93 of those cars, many of which are classic muscle from Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Plymouth and Pontiac. The megasale will take place Sept. 14, 2019, in Red Oak, Iowa, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. A 1969 Plymouth Road Runner infected Coyote with a love for Detroit muscle when he was just a teenager, and his desire quickly turned into an obsession. He's spent the past 40 years finding, buying and working on a variety of makes and models. Unlike some collectors, Coyote didn't discriminate against certain brands and has rides from each of the Big 3 automakers. Included in the auction are Camaros, Satellites, Super Bees, Chargers, Challengers, Barracudas, Coronets, GTOs, Mustangs, Cutlasses and others. Possibly the most intriguing aspect of the auction is that all of these cars will be sold as-is with no reserve. Many of them will need work, depending on quality standards, but this seems like a golden opportunity to find a classic car without leaving a bank account in shambles. The auctions are open for bidding online now, and the full auction will take place on September 14. Check out the full listings and bid at VanDerBrink Auctions.
2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon sheds seats and insulation to drop weight
Tue, Jan 31 2017You've probably already heard that the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will be lighter than the Hellcat Challenger – to tune of more than 200 pounds. What you probably don't know is that the Dodge team did it by dropping most of the seats, along with a few other tricks. The Demon loses 113 pounds by making the front passenger seat with its seatbelt (58 pounds) and back seat (55 pounds including restraints and floor mats) optional, which accounts for a large chunk of the weight loss compared to the Hellcat. The Demon also has unique 18-by-11-inch wheels, which are 16 pounds lighter than the Hellcat's, a manual tilt/telescope steering column instead of the powered one, which loses four pounds, and an 18-pound loss thanks to removing 23 noise, vibration, and harshness parts (the Demon will not be a quiet car, to say the least). Another 20 pounds is lost removing the trunk interior trim and spare tire. Still, the Demon gains 17 pounds thanks to the wide fender flares that accommodate the massive drag radials, which also add 3.5 inches to the car's width. For reference, the lightest Hellcat weighs 4,448 pounds with a manual transmission, and the automatic-equipped car comes in at 4,455 pounds. The Demon will be revealed in April before the New York Auto Show, and Dodge will continue to tease its latest satanic muscle couple weekly until then.
