If you’ve wanted a half ton Cummins here is your chance, all work professionally done. Selling my 97 Ram,This is a 1500 SS/T it has a built twin turbo 12 valve Cummins with a built ATS 47re auto. I’ll start with the body, new paint with cowl hood and 2001 sport grill, bumper and headlights. The color is ford tungsten gray the code is off of a ford GT, paint and body work with the hood and sport parts was $6000. The bed is a Line-X spray in liner $400.The truck has 165 k on it but the only thing that hasn’t been replaced or rebuilt drive train wise is the rear end. The interior has as you can see a roll bar, viper seats, billet B&M shifter and full auto meter gauges including pyrometer, fuel pressure, water temp, 3 boost gauges overall, drive pressure, and primary. It has a pioneer head unit with touch screen 2 rockford amps , a 10” pioneer sub and alpine separates in the doors.The stereo system was about $1500 The engine has been completely rebuilt with the following: ARP main studs 14mm =$225 ARP rod bolts =$175 Arp Head studs= $450 Mahle 286110 pistons and kit from Enterprise =$800 Hamilton head and valve train with custom porting o ringing and assembly =$4100 Hamilton 188 cam with bolt on retainer and tappets =$900 Adjustable pump gear from JD+$340 Benched 215 pump by DPE set a 400cc’s (will flow more with plate slid) =$700 Steed speed manifold=$700 Source auto’s twin kit with 64-70-13 stainless housing over 75-96-1.32 =$3500 Banks twin ram=$550 ATI super damper=$475 Billet aluminum front and side covers=$550 Mishimoto aluminum radiator=$675 BD intercooler=$1150 ATS 47re with triplelock converter, billet input shaft and supporting mods for this application=$4500 Air Dog 200 gph pump=$700 DDP stage 4 injectors=$1100 BD billet flex plate and arp bolts=$470 All machine work and balancing=$1800 Labor to assemble engine= $1000 Alternator,water pump, oil pump and cooler, belts hoses all new Billet freeze plug plates side and rear of block=$130 Full 5” exhaust=$400 I am sure I am forgetting a few things but you get the idea pretty much everything you can do has been done for a reliable strong engine. I have between 500 and 600 miles since completed, this truck runs awesome! I get bored easy so its time for the next project, I will not give my truck away if I cant get what its worth I will keep it. I have over 40k into it, you fellow diesel junkies know how much it takes to build one of these. The front end has been gone through most everything has been replaced shocks all around, ball joints, idler arm, steering arm, all tie rod ends and sleeves, new borgeson upgraded steering box, steering stabilizer, break pads, calipers, wheel bearings and races. Converted to single battery mounted in a drop down box on the frame. Installed a potentiometer in place of the tps. Installed a lock up switch on the floor. Thieves still love older Hondas and pickups most, says NICB [w/video]
Wed, 20 Aug 2014No one wants to have their car stolen, but a new study by the National Insurance Crime Bureau has some bad news for older Honda owners and pickup drivers. Fortunately, it has better news for drivers overall. The group is reporting that according to preliminary data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, thefts were down 3.2 percent in 2013 (versus 2012) to fewer than 700,000 cars. That's the lowest figure since 1967. That's also less than half of the peak of over 1.66 million thefts in 1991. "The drop in thefts is good news for all of us," says NICB President and CEO Joe Wehrle. "But it still amounts to a vehicle being stolen every 45 seconds and losses of over $4 billion a year."
Honda drivers might not find it such good news with older Accord and Civic models topping this year's theft study. Toyota and Dodge can't really celebrate, either, with two models each on the list, as well. Overall, this year's list was split evenly between foreign and domestic models, which were mostly pickups.

2020 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak comes solely with supercharged power
Wed, Nov 6 2019The Dodge Challenger Drag Pak has returned for 2020, five years after the last one arrived, and two years after it began development. And while in many ways it looks like past Drag Paks, there are a number of tweaks that should make this the fastest and most capable factory drag car yet from Mopar. Unlike the last model, only a supercharged 354-cubic-inch (5.8-liter for the imperically challenged) V8 is available. Mopar says it's more powerful than its predecessor, though exact horsepower wasn't given. It did confirm that the previous car was capable of a stunning 1,200 horsepower. The engine is coupled solely to a three-speed automatic transmission with a manual shifter. 2020 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak View 17 Photos Supporting the massive engine are many chassis, suspension and driveline enhancements. The independent rear suspension and axles are gone in favor of a solid axle from Strange and a four-link suspension. The front remains stock except for double-adjustable Bilstein shocks. The engine is mounted to a subframe member that's beneficial both to weight distribution and center of gravity. The car gets high-performance brakes and custom Weld Racing wheels with "DRAGPAK" engraved on them. The interior features a welded-in roll cage certified for quarter-mile times as quick as 7.5 seconds. Helping keep the car planted without increasing drag too much are front and rear spoilers from the road-going Challenger, a new addition compared with the previous car. Every Drag Pak car also comes standard with a wheelie bar and parachute. Dodge will only build 50 of these cars, and they'll only be offered as race cars that aren't legal for the street. The cars will be eligible for competing in sportsman classes in NHRA and NMCA drag racing series. Pricing and availability hasn't been set yet, but will be revealed sometime next year.
