Up for bid is a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 pickup. It is an extended cab with a short bed. I am selling this truck because I recently purchased a 2500 diesel. This truck is driven daily and is in good running condition. The condition is what can be expected for a well maintained 17 year old truck with 151,000 miles on it. It is a Black and Driftwood color combo with a tan interior. It has a bedliner, an aftermarket air intake system and front wind deflectors. As far as I know it has not been in any accidents, I am the second owner. I purchased it about 2 years ago in upstate NY where it was owned by an older gentleman. It does have the typical rust found on a vehicle from the Northeast. The interior is in very good condition with the exception of the drivers seat which is worn. It has a factory AM/FM/CD/Cassette Player. It passed a NY State Inspection in April at which time the front brakes were replaced as well as a front wheel bearing. It also had the water pump replaced in June. The tires have about 40% of the tread remaining. Buyer will be responsible for picking up the truck which is located in Smithtown, Long Island, NY. 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
Tue, 12 Mar 2013I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.

Real-life Bravado Banshee from Grand Theft Auto up for sale
Sun, 01 Jun 2014Remember the Bravado Banshee that West Coast Customs built last year to promote Grand Theft Auto V? Given away by GameStop, the woman who won it says she's better off with money to send her two kids to college than with a race car, so now you can steal buy it on eBay.
Based on a 2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10, every exterior panel was redesigned to match the Banshee, and the red embroidered badging inside won't let you forget it. There's still that V10 up front that can make some kind of racket, and a SEMA-worthy stereo filling the entire trunk to make a different kind of racket. Oh, it's also got hood struts that have crapped out, so you'll notice the hood is held up with a wooden rod.
The auction ends on June 5, and you can make an offer or hit the Buy It Now button and hand over $170,000. Might be time to change the outfit and run a few jobs for some quick cash.
Chrysler to accelerate production of 2013 Ram and V6 engines
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Chrysler is adding a third shift at its Warren Truck plant to meet demand for the new 2013 Ram pickup. And with tight supplies of its Pentastar V6, the company is also boosting output at its Mack Engine plant.
The expansions will add 1,250 jobs and are part of a $238 million investment by Chrysler in the Detroit area. Warren's third shift will begin work sometime in the spring, a Chrysler rep told Automotive News. Mack's increased Pentastar production a could include both 3.6 and 3.2-liter engines.
The company says it also plans to invest $40 million in its Trenton Engine plant to allow for production of a 3.2-liter V6 as well as the Tigershark inline-four for the upcoming Jeep Liberty replacement.
