Selling my 1993 Dodge truck, runs and drives good, I would no hesitate to drive this anywhere (in the past month I have been to Grand Rapids, Peoria IL, Indy, Toledo, Fort Wayne and many other places). It gets 21MPG average and about 14MPG with a 8000# trailer. This truck came from Oregon, there is no rust underneath or on any sheet metal, not even a blister on the joints under the cab. I just put $850 in tires on it (BFG All terrains)> It has a Borgenson steering shaft and new rag joint, new steering box last year. It drives good, but its a 20 year old Dodge...they never drove great when new!
The bad: windshield cracked, headliner is loose, rear main seal leaks, cruise not working and typical 90's Mopar paint problems...ALL of this is the way I bought the truck in August last year...nothing has gotten worse.
The pump is turned up slightly, it will only smoke under initial takeoff, it has never been hopped up, stock intake and stock exhaust still on it, adult owned from day one.
There is a OEM Mopar hitch included, there is also a fold down gooseneck hitch in the bed already.
New vinyl floor put in about a month ago, seats are nice, dash is good, no cracks, door panels are just OK.
Miles will change daily as I am using this truck all the time...I could really use a crew cab, that's the only reason this is for sale.

Challenger A/T Unlimited Concept could be your next Hellcat-powered ORV
Fri, 29 Aug 2014This past June I spent an excellent day hanging out with Joey Ruiter, driving and discussing his Reboot Buggy project. Before heading home, I let him know that he was more than welcome to keep me abreast of whichever new automotive project he'd get into. You can never have too many car designers and one-off fabricators in your Rolodex, right?
Ruiter recently made good with the follow-up, emailing me with details on this Dodge Challenger A/T Untamed Concept that pushes a lot of hot buttons for the muscle car and off-roading enthusiasts.
This all-terrain Mopar is a lot more than a Challenger body dropped on a truck chassis, too. A materialized version of the A/T would included a completely new, long-travel suspension, skid plates, body armor and rock sliders, and obviously flared fenders to help accommodate a hellacious set of off-road-ready tires. The dramatically revised underpinnings would be topped with a slick graphics package and a killer lower light bar, all making the A/T look quite cohesive in its own, radical way. And the result would be a car no longer limited to mere road-driving.

"This is a car that most brands would never bring to market." - Tim Kuniskis
Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis had reason to be confident, perhaps even a bit cocky at the reveal of his brand's newest halo car, the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. As he said simply, it's the "quickest, fastest and most powerful sedan in the world."
Watch Jay Leno drive an ex-highway patrol '61 Dodge Polara
Tue, May 17 2016The latest vehicle to swing by Jay Leno's Garage is a 1961 Dodge Polara. This one was used by the California Highway Patrol half a century ago, ordered specially by the state police instead of the Darts that were usually used by law-enforcement. After sitting out in the sun for a few decades, it recently underwent a comprehensive, ground-up restoration by the historians and craftsmen at the Automobile Club of Southern California. As you can see for yourself, the result of the restoration is really quite stunning. The ACSC apparently spared no expense, bringing the 413-cubic-inch V8 back up to working order, along with the emergency lighting, radio, certified speedometer... the works. In the process they even found the engine cranked out more than the factory quote of 325 horsepower, recording 332 hp and 406 pound-feet of torque on the dyno. The Polara CHP cruiser hadn't even been back out on the freeway since the restoration was finished. But after getting the full run-down from the guys responsible for its resuscitation, Jay wasted little time in bringing it back to its natural habitat.
