For sale is a good, heavy duty 1989 Dodge Ram W150 work truck.  The truck has 12000 miles on a completely rebuilt 360, new water pump, new alternator, new steering box, and new boots on the stabalizer bars.  It is a four wheel drive with an automatic transmission and has a good quiet exhaust and a good muffler.  The transmission and the 4x4 work perfectly.  It has good diamond tread running boards, the bumpers are good as is the tailgate.  It has near new tires on it and absolutly drives straight as an arrow, frontend has been lined up when the steering box was put on.  The interior is clean and not all ripped up or beat up, has crank windows, a slider rear window, good seat, good glass, good headliner, good dash, and a great heater.  The body is pretty good for the age, it has no rust through.  The bad part on the body is the passenger door has a dent in it with the paint off of it.  The doors shut as they should as the dent does not affect this, just cosmetic.  There are also a few places where the paint is off but just adds some character to it.  The bed is in really good shape and it does have a hide-away 5th wheel ball installed in it, I have never used it but my neighbor has a couple of times, works really nice.  This is a very nice older Dodge truck that should serve the next owner for many years to come.

If you have any ?s please ask as I will get right back to you.  Check my feedback and feel comfortable bidding.  I am selling as I do all of my auctions with No Reserve so high bid owns it.  Again, if something is of question, please ask.  Thankyou for looking at my auction.

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Redline revs into Chicago

Fri, 01 Feb 2013

When Dodge released the Challenger Rallye Redline last year, it brought a new dimension of styling to the car's classic muscle car lines, but it was only available in V6 form lacking the oomph to back up its sinister appearance. To remedy that situation, Dodge is unveiling the Challenger R/T Redline, powered by a Hemi V8 engine, at the Chicago Auto Show.
Other than the extra cylinders, most of the R/T's Redline package carries over from the Rallye model including the custom-look 20-inch black chrome wheels with red paint accents, but the R/T version of the package gets more of a retro look to the side stripes with graphite graphics featuring Redline lettering. Cars equipped with the six-speed manual transmission will get a performance-tuned, low-restriction exhaust allowing the engine to produce 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque; cars with the five-speed auto are rated at 372 hp and 400 lb-ft, but they do offer a bright chrome Mopar t-handle shifter and steering wheel paddle shifters.
The R/T Redline Group is offered only on cars painted in Billet Silver, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Pitch Black, and it adds just $1,995 to the MSRP of the Challenger R/T (starting at $31,990) and the Challenger R/T Plus (starting at $33,990), which adds features like Nappa leather and Boston Acoustics speakers.

Dodge hoping Fast & Furious appearance gives Dart a sales jolt [w/video]

Tue, 28 May 2013

According to Automotive News, Chrysler is hoping Fast & Furious 6 will be kind to the Dodge Dart. While the compact sedan doesn't actually show up in the film, Dodge has partnered up with the movie franchise for a new ad featuring the Dart.
Chrysler hasn't exactly seen the high sales numbers it was originally hoping for with the new sedan, thanks in part to a couple of missteps. For starters, most early-production vehicles were only offered with a manual transmission. Analysts believe Chrysler squandered around 95 percent of potential Dart sales because automatic transmission options weren't immediately available.
Right now, the Dodge Dart rakes 19th among compact cars, pulling down 31,064 sales through April. Last month was the company's strongest, with 8,099 units moving off of dealer lots. Unfortunately, the model has also been handicapped by its older sister, the Avenger. With Chrysler throwing heavy incentives at the aging sedan, many consumers have taken advantage of a better deal with the slightly larger, more powerful Avenger.

Roadkill builds crazy-cheap 1968 Dodge Charger rat rod using an old motorhome

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

Certain requests for description simply cannot be fulfilled, like if someone asked you to describe Picasso's Guernica or Gilliam's Brazil. There is only one appropriate answer to such entreaties, and that is: "You just gotta see it." That's where we are with the latest episode of Roadkill, wherein Messr's Freiburger and Finnegan dig out a 1968 Dodge Charger that Freiburger acquired in exchange for a set of cylinder heads, and intend to stuff it with the big-block motor from a long-bed, three-quarter ton Dodge pickup.
Only the pickup is too nice to tear apart, and the Charger needs a whole lot more lovin' - and parts - than initially expected. Enter, stage right, the Class A Dodge Pace Arrow motorhome with a 440 big-block purchased for $1,000, and a retired Plymouth Fury from a previous episode.
What ensues over the course of the 40-minute installment is more cuttin', yankin', leakin', stallin', hammerin' and smokin' action than you've seen in a long time, and some techniques that would have made even Cooter wonder, "I'm not sure if we should do that." By the end, though, the payoff is good enough to make you think about perusing AutoTrader for a '68 Charger just to see if maybe...
