hello i am selling my 1998 dodge neon that is 4 cylinder and auto matic, this car was bought new and has only 57k miles on it original it is a one owner car that was never smoked in.all the service is up to date the car runs very well. it is a very simple car it doesnt have and power windows or locks. does have power steering the motor sounds very good the transmission shifts the way it should.the body is clean please look at the pictures.the car was used to go to church and shopping the entire time we owned it. the car doesnt leak any oil what so ever.I encourage any one who may be interested in a nice little car to call me at 315-323-5364 to set up and appointment and take a look at it. Also the car gets great gas mileage it is a reilible car it was well taking care of the only reason we are selling it is cus we are getting ready for the holidays and money is tight. the back tires are fairly new and the front are 60 percent if i had to guess the brakes are good and thier are NO dashboard lights on of any kind. the car has a spare tire in the back. i hope i didnt miss anything but feel free to call with any questions A 500 deposit is due at the close of the auction and the buyer is required to make contact at the close of the auction. Also this is a no Reserve auction please do not bid unless you are serious this is a great car at a great price cause of the low mileage. The Dodge Demon's massive hood scoop sucks air like a jet intake
Thu, Feb 9 2017You know what they say about cars with big hood scoops? They usually hide big blowers. At least that's the case with the Dodge Demon and its 45-inch wide hood scoop, the largest ever fitted to a factory production car. The fifth Demon teaser, "Forced Induction," shows off the increased capacity of the car's air intake and the resurrection of the Air Grabber hood scoop on Dodge's upcoming quarter-mile killer. View 4 Photos As with previous teasers, few details have been given outside of the Subaru-trouncing scoop's dimensions. Dodge says the scoop drops air inlet temperatures by more than 30 degrees. Where the more pedestrian Hellcat only has one air catcher headlight, both inner lights on the Demon are used to feed in air. The hood itself appears to channel air in and to the right into a new airbox that appears to be fitted with a K&N-style filter. Dodge seems intent on preventing any asthma issues with the new car. Standing in front of the car might literally take your breath away. Outside of that, the images don't show any new cryptic messages like previous teasers, or at least none that we can spot. One thing we did notice was that the engine block appears to be painted red, not orange like on the Hellcat. Doing some back and forth comparison also shows that the supercharger appears to be the same size as the current one. Tue, 16 Sep 2014The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is probably one of the hottest cars of the moment mostly because of its insane, 707-horsepower supercharged V8. However, there are conflicting reports coming out that the powerplant might be having problems with its emissions compliance and may be capable of even more power.
Jalopnik says that an unnamed source within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles told it that the Hellcat was having problems meeting emissions standards at its 707-horsepower tune. The person claimed that the automaker has been testing the V8 with different types of sensors, possibly to make it a bit cleaner in the future. Autoblog spoke to SRT spokesperson Dan Reid, and he said about the claimed poor emissions, "It's totally speculation."
The source also claimed that the Hellcat had been dynoed at a monumental 825 horsepower, internally. Based on the other rumor, though, it's hard to imagine the engine being emissions compliant like that. Autoblog also asked Reid about this speculation about more power and was told, "They are totally speculating about that."
