If you are in the market for a well cared for, low mileage
newer body style Dodge Grand Caravan and would love to have the top of the line SXT model with leather seats then you
are going to LOVE my 2008 SXT with only 49k original rust free, accident free Florida miles! This van is as close to
new as any 2008 model vehicle could be and it is also a non-smoker's van so it is fresh as new inside. This van is a
local FT.Myers/Naples van that has been here in sunny Florida it's whole life and it shows, there is no rust and even
the underside is still like new, you won't see that on any northern vehicle. It was traded in at our local Cadillac
dealership as well, NO auctions! It received a great score of 92 points on Autocheck out of an average rating of
between 69-82 points so you know it has a great history as well. This is a spotless, non-smoker's van, period! This
is the new body style Grand Caravan so it is very up to date looking and I just love the burgundy color as well. The
exterior is very clean with no dents, scrapes, fade or rust. Just a deep Dodge shine. The factory aluminum wheels
look nice and there are matching tires with great tread remaining to help give this SXT a smooth and quiet ride.
There is a roof rack, nice factory running boards and NO hitch so this SXT has NOT been pulling anything, which is nice. Look close at the
pictures, it looks every bit this nice in person. The interior too looks near new with no stains, rips or odors and
again this is a non-smoker's van so it is nice and fresh inside. Even all the factory floormats are there and they
too are spotless. It's a bit hard to find these van's with leather but this one has heated leather seats with center
captains chairs that are stow & go's as well as the rear third row. All the seats still show like new and there is
also a center console between the two fronts for extra storage. Options include dual power side doors, power rear
hatch, rear back-up camera, dual air conditioning, dual power front seats, power pedals, cd stereo and full power
options and everything looks and works like new. There are also dual front and side air bags and all the rear side windows have the pull down shades which is nice. Again, look close at
the pictures, it truly is like new inside. What a pleasure to drive, so smooth and quiet. The peppy V-6 runs smooth
as silk and should with only 49k miles and will deliver 25mpg. I just had it serviced with new brakes and the
transmission and suspension are both tight as new with no shakes or rattles, just as you would expect from a vehicle
like this. I know I am talking this one up but I see a lot of vans that have been pretty beat up from kids and
animals and they get very dirty. This one is NOT like that and when it was traded in at the Cadillac dealership it
was this clean! I'm sure you will love it and at less then half the price of a new one it's a steal and with only 49k
miles and leather you are sure to enjoy it for years to come.
I have great feedback so you can be sure that this vehicle will be just as nice as I am stating. Should
you need help with shipping call me, if you decide to fly into Ft.Myers to pick it up in person I will meet you at
our local airport right here in town. I know buying a vehicle you haven't driven is a little scary so I try to make
it easy as well as fun!! As with all my vehicles, this one was put through a safety check to be sure it is safe
and road worthy. This includes an oil change and an inspection of the brakes, belts, hoses, cooling system, fluid
levels, etc. It's just one more thing I can do to make this a good experience for you. I encourge you to call with
any questions @ 239-872-5281. Thanks! ![]()

Chrysler announced a pair of recalls for the Dodge Dart, Durango, and Jeep Grand Cherokee. They're unrelated, as the Dart recall concerns windshield washer pumps, and the Durango and Grand Cherokee recall is for fuel rails. But, as Automotive News discovered, the number of cars involved in both totals up to 88,888 cars, which is rather bizarre. Breaking down the coincidental number, we first have 34,633 2016 Dodge Durangos and Jeep Grand Cherokees recalled because fasteners on the intake manifold can come into contact with the fuel rail on some vehicles. This could lead to a fuel leak, and a subsequent fire hazard. Chrysler believes only 30 vehicles will have this defect, but it's inspecting any that could have had the issue. The other part of the 88,888 cars recalled in total consists of 54,255 2016 Dodge Darts. The windshield washer pumps on affected cars could short-circuit the wiper system, disabling the wipers. Chrysler will notify owners of all vehicles, and will replace any faulty parts at no cost to the owner. Owners can also contact Chrysler's customer care center at 1-800-853-1403. Get ready for a wave of nostalgia and the rapid realization of the huge progress in performance cars over the last 30 years. For its latest Retro Review, MotorWeek takes a look back at two, front-wheel drive coupes from the '80s that seem to have entirely vanished from the roads today. Both the 1986 Dodge Daytona CS and the 1986.5 Ford Escort EXP were considered affordable, sporty options in their day, but the passage of time hasn't been kind to either of their specs. The Daytona certainly looks the part of a performance machine with a body that's reminiscent of other '80s coupes, like the third-gen Chevrolet Camaro. However with 146 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque from a 2.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, acceleration wasn't exactly a strong suit. MotorWeek complained about copious torque steer, as well. The optional CS suspension upgrade package on this Daytona was apparently a nod to Carroll Shelby who was working with Dodge at the time. If anything, the Escort EXP withstands the test of time even worse. As a two-seat coupe, you might have expected Ford's engineers to really turn up the performance to fit the sporty image that the exterior conveyed. That didn't really happen, and depending on which model buyers ordered, they got either 86 horsepower with a 1.9-liter engine or the "high-output" version of that mill with 108 hp.

Mistakes happen, and they happen all the time. But when that mistake means a customer doesn't get what he or she paid for, something's gotta give. That's what one Dodge Charger buyer claims he is trying to sort out with his local dealership. Two months after taking delivery, the owner (going by the user name Dakrbouncer4689 on Reddit) says he got a call from his local Dodge dealership reporting a little problem. He had ordered and paid for the Charger SXT (pictured above on the dealer lot), but was given a Charger SE instead. The SE being the lower trim level, this presented one set of problems – namely a $2,000 discrepancy in equipment, like a five-speed automatic versus an eight-speed, a 4.3-inch infotainment display instead of 8.4, heated seats, leather steering wheel, premium audio, remote starter and so on. The second set of issues is that the VIN number on the paperwork (including the registration and insurance papers) of course doesn't match that of the car itself. The dealer, having obviously made a rather large mistake, apparently called the owner in to sort out the mess, but according to the customer's account, things didn't go as smoothly. Instead of immediately working to address the problem, the salesman kept the owner waiting, acted like it was no big deal, and offered only to swap the cars with no compensation for the trouble. Fortunately, the manager proved more sympathetic and apologetic, and offered the customer three options: he could swap the cars (re-doing the tinted windows on the SXT that the customer had done on the SE and throwing in leather seats for free), he could keep the SE (with the dealership handling the paperwork, throwing in the leather seats, adjusting the price and refunding an extra $400), or they could cancel everything, return the car and part company. As we go to press, the Charger owner had yet to make (or at least share) his decision. But while the principle of caveat emptor makes us wonder how he managed to take home a different car from the one he paid for, clearly the salesman and the dealership made a pretty large mistake by presenting him with the wrong set of keys and letting him off the lot without double checking it all.
