If this van is not exactly what you're looking for, to see more like it visit us at: www WichitaAms com 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan SE with the Braun Companion Van handicap wheelchair ramp conversion package. The Braun Companion Van conversion is great for someone that will always have an attendant with them. One of the great things about this conversion is the sliding door and the ramp are both manually operated. This means less things to go wrong and cost money in the future! The door and ramp are both VERY easy to operate. I equate it to picking up a half gallon of milk off the ground. The ramp is spring loaded to help you raise and lower it with very little effort. The ramp itself is rated to 800 lbs capacity and is 29 3/4" wide. The door entryway is 53 1/2" tall and the interior is 57 1/2" tall. The Companion Van conversion lowers just the center area of the van floor. It alllows you to carry 5 people seated and one wheelchair. The van does have dual sliding doors, so that you can enter/exit without having to lower the ramp. There are also wheelchair anchoring points in the center area and 1 set of wheelchair anchoring straps are included. Someone could also park their scooter in the center area and then move to the driver's seat, if they were able to walk that distance. The Companion Van series offers a lot of mobility with out all the price or liability of power equipment breaking This van is equipped with 3.3 liter V-6 engine (19mpg city 25mpg hwy), automatic transmission, and brand new Goodyear tires. The van has 126,032 miles on it. Autocheck verifies the clean title, actual mileage, and just 2 owners on this one. This van has been in Florida it's entire life. It has NO RUST and NO paintwork (except of course the ground effects and such that were painted when the van was converted). The body is very straight. You will have to hunt to even find a minor "door ding" on this van. The paint is still very nice as well. There are some small rock chips and such if you look really close, but nothing else that stands out. The tires are BRAND NEW. The van has NEVER been smoked in. . This van also has power windows, power locks, front and rear air conditioning, tilt, cruise, am/fm/cd player and rear wiper. The interior of the van shows virtually no wear at all. There are no holes, tears or rips anywhere in the carpet, headliner or cloth seats. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me or email. Bring us your trade we'll work with you to get you a fair trade-in towards this very nice van. For more information contact Jeremiah at (3l6)262-8267. Remember to check us out: www WichitaAms com |

The Fate of the Furious music video shows how much Demons love donuts
Fri, Mar 3 2017The new Dodge Demon is leaking into everything related to The Fate of the Furious in the lead-up to both the car and the film's debut in just over a month. The latest teaser involves Demons doing donuts and burnouts in the Get Off music video, with copious amounts of both tire smoke and hip hop to accompany the tire-shredding shenanigans. It also gives us a look at some of the film's other cars. Get Off is a song by Travis Scott, Quavo, and Lil Uzi that's featured on The Fate of the Furious soundtrack, which is out now. The teaser for the music video features a pack of Dodge Challengers - both Demon and non-Demon spec - along with a line of non-SRT related products. From what we can see, the movie will have a Scion FR-S/Toyota 86, a highly modified C2 generation Chevrolet Corvette, and a Mercedes-AMG GT S. In typical over-the-top fashion, the final shot shows a submarine bursting through ice in pursuit of several cars, including a Subaru WRX. We can't see much else as the full music video hasn't been released, but expect a few more teasers once it does. The Fate of the Furious debuts Friday, April 14, just days after the Dodge Demon's debut at the New York Auto Show. 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody First Drive | Same snarl, more bite
Thu, Jul 20 2017By now, you've read a lot about the Dodge Demon, including our driving impressions from the drag strip. You've also heard a lot about the Challenger Hellcat, which we've had the pleasure of driving at Portland International Raceway, Willow Springs, and on our home turf of Woodward Avenue, both during the Dream Cruise and for an episode of AutoblogVR. Last week, Dodge and SRT invited us out to Indianapolis to sample the Demon, as well as the Durango SRT. Sandwiched between those two launches, however, was another distillation of Dodge's retro-cool coupe, the 2018 Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody. The Widebody shares most of the guts of the standard Charger Hellcat, but went to the same cosmetic surgeon as the Demon. The Hellcat 6.2-Liter V8 with 2.4-liter-per-rev supercharger, producing 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, is unchanged. It comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, but our tester had the optional eight-speed automatic with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. It's 3.5 inches wider (look at those fenders!) than the standard Hellcat, though, which allows it to accommodate 20-by-11-inch "Devil's Rim" wheels. It shares its front splitter with the Demon, but retains the Hellcat's rear spoiler. The Widebody also features an electronic power steering system with selectable drive modes. It just slightly outperforms the standard Hellcat, as well, with better cornering grip, improved acceleration, and better braking (even though it shares the same Brembo brake package as the standard Hellcat). Dodge claims that the Widebody does the quarter-mile 0.3 seconds quicker, dropping it just out of the 11s to 10.9 seconds. 0-60 miles per hour drops from 3.5 to 3.4 seconds. Lateral grip increases by 0.04 G to 0.97 G on the skid pad. On the company's 1.7-mile road course, Dodge says the Widebody drops two seconds off its lap time compared to the standard Hellcat, finishing about 13 car lengths ahead. We spent our time with the Hellcat Widebody on the infield road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Sliding into the car, the seating position is cozy and comfortable even with a helmet on, and we have no trouble adjusting our chair and steering column to ideal placement. The infotainment display shows us our drive settings for the next few miles: the transmission and suspension are in Track Mode, steering is set to Sport, with traction set to Street. We fire up the car with an instructor in the right seat, and head out of the pit lane.
Dodge not being dropped by Chrysler, CEO reaffirms
Mon, 16 Sep 2013Dodge isn't going anywhere. Despite some rumor and speculation over the future of the crosshair grille and the cars that wear it, Dodge brand boss, Tim Kuniskis, sat down with TheDetroitBureau.com, explaining that the marque isn't going anywhere. His sentiments echo those of SRT boss Ralph Gilles, who told a group of enthusiasts in July that "Dodge is here to stay!"
Dodge's death won't be "a part of a master plan to consolidate brands," Kuniskis told TheDetroitBureau.com. Instead, the brand, which is ultimately under the command of Fiat/Chrysler CEO, Sergio Marchionne, will likely ditch some of its badge-engineered models, like the Dodge Grand Caravan. A more focused Dodge, which was something Gilles has already hinted at, will likely see it exploring areas of the market that haven't been exploited by other Chrysler brands.
Kuniskis, not surprisingly, wasn't willing to delve into any detailed product plans, telling TDB that the size of the brand's lineup "remains to be seen." Regardless of how big the brand actually ends up being (it is presently Chrysler's volume brand - and not by a little), hopefully the statements from Kuniskiss can put the rumors of a Dodge closure to bed.
