Up for sale is this 2005 Dodge Durango SLT 4x4 with the Magnum V8 engine. This Durango is an all original vehicle and has no accident history on the autocheck report. This SUV looks great inside and out and runs like a new Durango would. Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water flood and its being sold with a Pennsylvania salvage title. I am not sure why the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. This SUV is in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should, and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons. There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. I have been driving this vehicle on and off and its a really nice driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done recently and its ready for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The vehicle was also just professionally detailed inside and out. The tires are in great shape and have about 80% tread remaining. They are all matching BF Goodrich tires. This is a very well taken cared of vehicle and it will last someone forever. This Durango runs and drives like a new vehicle would. You literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without any problems. This vehicle also has the more powerful Magnum V8 engine. So, it can tow more and has much better performance on and off road.
This Durango SLT is loaded up with all the options. It has the SLT trim package, Upgraded Magnum V8 engine, 4 wheel drive, third row seating, fog lamps, remote keyless entry, upgraded 17 inch alloy wheels with on/off-road tires, luggage rack, hood wind deflector, window vent shades, power seat, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, CD player, fixed running boards, cruise control, and just too much more to mention. This Durango has it all.
The car comes with the orignal Dodge remote key fob. We all the owners manuals and booklets, as well as the original build sheet and window sticker for the vehicle. The vehicle cost $36,000 when it was new! We also have all the original floor mats, an extra set of winter floors mats, and the complete spare tire and jack set for the vehicle.
The exterior of the car shows extremely well. The car is very clean with no major dents or scrathces worth mentioning. The paint looks to be in nice and it shines like glass. You can see your face in the paint. This is a nice all original vehicle with no accident history in the autocheck report. The exterior of this vehicle is in above average condition in my opinion.
The interior of the car is like brand new. The seats are is fantastic condition and show no any wear at all. The carpets and other panels are all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%. This car looks and drives like a newer vehicle would, its that great!
This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage title. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. My name is Matt and my number is 646-243-9866. Thanks and good luck bidding!

Stellantis reports $15B profit in first year of merger

Wed, Feb 23 2022

FRANKFURT, Germany — Automaker Stellantis said Wednesday that it made 13.4 billion euros ($15.2 billion) in its first year after it was formed from the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Group. The earnings nearly tripled profits compared with its pre-merger existence as two separate companies, as the maker of Jeep, Opel and Peugeot vehicles exploited cost efficiencies from combining the businesses. The result compared to a combined 4.79 billion euros for the separate companies in 2020 before the merger, which took effect on Jan. 17, 2021. Revenue for the combined business rose 14%, to 152 billion euros. CEO Carlos Tavares said the results “prove that Stellantis is well positioned to deliver strong performance" and had overcome “intense headwinds” during the year. Automakers have struggled with shortages of key parts such as semiconductor electronic components and rising costs for raw materials as the global rebound from the worst of the coronavirus pandemic brings more demand. The company said the benefits of the merger were worth some 3.2 billion euros during the year. Mergers can lead to streamlined costs as companies combine functions and spread fixed costs over a larger revenue base. The company accelerated its rollout of battery-powered vehicles, with sales of low-emission vehicles reaching 388,000 — an increase of 160%. Stricter environmental regulations in Europe and China are pushing automakers to roll out more electric vehicles with longer range. Stellantis started production of a hydrogen fuel cell commercial van under its Opel brand in December. Stellantis' other brands include Chrysler, Citroen, DS, Fiat, Maserati, Ram and Vauxhall. Ward's announces 10 Best Engines 2015

Wed, Dec 10 2014

Ward's Auto has named its 10 Best Engines for 2015, covering a range of powerplants from fuel-sippers to fire-breathers. As with past years, forced-induction reigns supreme, with seven of the ten engines featuring a turbo or supercharger. This year is slightly different, though, as two of the seven blown engines are turbocharged three-cylinder mills, from the Ford Fiesta and Mini Cooper. They're joined by the 2.0-liter turbo four from the Volvo S60, the 1.8-liter turbo four from the Volkswagen Jetta and the 2.0-liter boxer from the Subaru WRX. BMW and Chrysler were the only marques to be named to this year's list twice, with the electric motor from the i3 joining the Mini's three-pot, and the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 in the Ram 1500 and Jeep Grand Cherokee repping the diesel crowd, alongside a certain supercharged monster. Hyundai also took a prize with a zero-emissions powertrain, with the Tucson FCV's 100-kilowatt fuel cell making the list (apparently Ward's is quite generous with what it deems an "engine"). Rounding out the list are two Autoblog favorites, each displacing 6.2 liters, but producing their power very differently. On the one hand, Chevrolet's overhead-valve, 455-horsepower V8, found in the Corvette, makes its power the old fashioned way. And in the other corner, we have one of the most exciting engines of the year – the 707-hp, 6.2-liter, supercharged Hellcat V8, featured so prominently in the Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat. "We spend a lot of time reading the powertrain tea leaves throughout the auto industry, and we're proud that this year's list is a microcosm of all the latest innovation coming from automakers," said Ward's Editor-in-Chief Drew Winter in a statement. "It's not just a list for enthusiasts or for environmentalists," he says. "There's something for every vehicle shopper and every budget. All the powertrains on this list deliver a first-rate driving experience," Winter added. Scroll down for the full list from Ward's, and let us know which engines you think belong and which should have been included in this year's rankings.
