is awesome Dart GT V8 in incredible unrestored original RUST FREE condition... This original California black plate classic was a one owner car purchased by a retired mechanic from an estate a few months ago. I bought it recently with some changes in mind but the car is just too nice and original to start with my plan. The miles are original and the condition is outstanding. It has the matching numbers 273 V8 and 3 speed tourgefilght push button auto transmission. Motor looks rebuilt to me but I have no documentation of that... in any case it runs excellent with excellent
power. This car runs and drives like it did in 1964. The condition is that of a 2-3 year old garage kept car not a 50 year old car. This little classic is in fantastic driver condition all around. Cool

collection... The body is amazingly straight with some minor bumps and blemishes... no signs of collision damage or rust that I can see... I'm going to have dent masters handle a couple of minor dings this week. Undercarriage and frame looks super clean and solid. Repaint in original color presents very well with some minor imperfections and blemishes... Trim and chrome are excellent with some small imperfections. Car has a very cool stance and period correct look and maintains its original comfortable ride. Get's looks and compliments everywhere we roll... a little love and this is an easy weekend show car. The interior is original and immaculate. Everything is in excellent condition. headliner and rear seat both have a tiny tear. Dash is amazing... everything works properly including original am radio. Steering wheel has a little ware but they all do... refinish or just cover while you use the car... 273 V8 motor is all stock. Starts idles and runs fantastic... Great power!. Legendary Torqueflight bush button 3 speed auto shifts smooth and strong through the gears... stock 7.25 rear end. Gear ratios are great around town and cruises nice on the freeway as well. Suspension and brakes feel excellent... Rides nice and stops straight and sure. Can easily be a daily driver and it drives like new... strong and reliable. Really Nice, powerful, Fun driver.... ready to roll. Overall this is a super cool Classic Dart Gt in outstanding condition all around. Awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or potential show car.. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool Vintage Classic Muscle Car at a great price. The car is located in Beverly Hills... Junkyard Gem: 1963 Dodge Dart two-door sedan
Mon, Mar 6 2017The 1963-1966 Dodge Dart, sibling to the Plymouth Valiant, was sturdy, cheap, and easy to drive, and it sold very well. Here's a worn-but-solid example of the two-door '63 Dart sedan, spotted in a Denver-area self-service wrecking yard. The only transmission choices for the Dart this year were a three-speed manual and an automatic controlled by Chrysler's famous dash-mounted pushbutton shifter. These shifters worked surprisingly well, even when used for road racing. Starting in the 1964 model year, the Dart could be purchased with a 273-cubic-inch V8 engine, but in 1963 Dart buyers had but two engine choices: a slant-6 displacing 170 cubic inches and good for 101 horsepower and a slant-6 displacing 225 cubic inches and making 145 horsepower. This car has the big engine. This is one of the most reliable engines to come out of Detroit, period. The interior is pretty beat, but the metal isn't rusty. You'd think that someone would have rescued this car long before it came to this sorry end, but perhaps Dart restorers only want numbers-matching V8 cars these days.
