I am selling my 69 dart. I have owned it for over 15 years but it is time to face the facts that i'm not going to get it done. First off, this car needs a full restoration. Thats the bad news. The good news is i have everything for the car...Brand new quarters, trunk extensions, a mint set of wheel wells, i have all the original chrome off the car which could use to be restored but they are all in very good shape. The dash is brand new, with a brand new wiring harness for it. The dash bezels have been restored to like new condition, i have new carpet, headliner, seat covers and front seat cushions, new trunk matt, new headlight and tailligh bezels, new center caps for the wheels, tires are like brand new, suspension was redone with eurothane bushings, has new leaf springs, new front and rear sway bars. This car is tight. I have lower front fender patch panel for right fender otherwise the fenders are good. All the glass is in the car and good. I have all the interior panels ....in great original shape.   I swapped out the rear end for a posi..i think i have 355's in it...not sure. Both bumpers are straight but need to be rechromed. The engine wiring harness is also brand new. I have the original radio and a new glove box liner as well as a brand new vynal top. All the window chrome is good...none of it dented.  I would like a $500 deposit and you will have to arrange delivery yourself,if i can help i will. Car will not be let go until all money is cleared. Thanks for looking and any questions you can email me direct at countryboy40@me .com. The pics u see are not of all the parts i have but i have everything for this car.

NHTSA investigating Chrysler for airbags, ignition switches

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

Chrysler is being targeted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in a pair of actions that focus on over 1.2 million Jeeps, minivans and crossovers.
The first is a "preliminary investigation" that focuses on an airbag issue afflicting the Jeep Commander built in model years 2006 and 2007 and Grand Cherokee from 2005 to 2006. In total, 700,000 vehicles could potentially be affected. It's not entirely clear what the airbag issue is, with The Detroit Free Press simply stating that the restraint systems in the affected Jeeps may be "faulty."
The other investigation is what's called a "recall query" and it covers a problem that General Motors should be familiar with. In this case, there could be a problem with the ignition switches of 525,000 vehicles, ranging from 2008 to 2010 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans, to the 2008 to 2010 Dodge Journey crossover. Again, it's not entirely clear what sort of behavior prompted the 32 complaints that NHTSA has received on these vehicles.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: The next five years

Tue, 06 May 2014

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. We had individual brand reports from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and even Ferrari, but in the interest of simplifying and summarizing, we're going to list out the hard facts once more. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.

What does Jeep have cooking with this stretched Cherokee?

Mon, Feb 15 2016

Chrysler has been spotted testing what appears to be a stretched Jeep Cherokee prototype. Which seems odd, considering that Jeep already makes a Grand Cherokee, and that's an entirely different model. The question then is just what the company has in the works here. We don't know for sure – but we do have some ideas. We're anticipating a new Grand Wagoneer to serve as the brand's flagship model, but stretching the Cherokee's wheelbase to leapfrog the Grand Cherokee's would take more than eight inches – and stretching a "compact" platform to get there wouldn't seem to make a lot of sense. Alternatively Jeep could be looking to wedge a new model into its lineup in between the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee, potentially offering a third row of seats and wearing the Wagoneer name - sans the "Grand" - as part of a new range of seven-seaters. Just what the point would be, however, when the Dodge Durango already offers three rows based on the same platform as the Grand Cherokee, is a bit of a mystery. Another possibility is that it's not a Jeep at all, but rather a Dodge. The brand is in need of a replacement for the current Journey, and we're also waiting to see what FCA does to replace the Grand Cherokee since it unveiled the Chrysler Pacifica to replace the Town and Country. More of a crossover approach could take the Cherokee's Compact US Wide (CUSW) platform as its starting point, but stretched like this prototype to offer more space. Whatever it is, we're sure this won't be the last we'll have seen of it, so watch this space. Related Video:
