Monster Truck & Custom Hauler!
Monster Truck----- Built on a 1953 Army 2.5 Ton chassis, this one of a kind package deal is the legit! Designed as a company promotional package, this this combo has bright future! The truck has 5'x2' tires, a high output Dodge V-10, Transmission and transfer case. High performance Headers and Exhaust. Dodge Dakota cab with full roll bar. Racing seats with 5-point harness. Full engine gages built into a custom dash. Hurst shifter, power steering, and brakes on the rear axle only. This truck is a true gem and looks like something out of a time capsule. Regular maintenance performed and it functions great. Never used off-road and used strictly for Ecolab promotional purposes. Truck has been to 48 states, shows all over the US and transported with this custom carrier. Engine is like new and all service has been done and in working order.
It is a lot of truck and would be a great hunting or mud truck for someone who knows this stuff... I do not, and want to get the beast out of my steel building.
I have priced this so someone will walk away with a solid investment if you have a need for this truck. Chrysler custom made V-10 engine for a Viper and made special for this application. Engine alone is worth the reserve price.
Please contact me and I can have you speak to Truck Utilities out of St. Paul Minnesota for details on the build. Over 100k into these vehicles when new and they have been lightly used and simply serviced the past 8 years. Less than 5500 miles on Super-Truck. Miles were used in parades only.
Zero liens on both vehicles, for sale locally and will end auction if it sells here in MN.
The truck hauler is a 1995, 1900 International 8200 that has been re-certified to 26,000 lbs. The engine is a 350 HP Cummins Diesel w/ a 9-speed Eaton Transmission. The starter, batteries and alternator are all new. Has a Rear Air-ride suspension, a custom Drop-deck design w/ custom tie-down points. Cruises easily and comfortable at Freeway speeds. Total traveling height w/ truck on tractor is less than 12'6" w/ a width of ~ 108". Tractor is serviced and ready to go.
These items are available for purchase separately if someone wants one or the other but please call to discuss. Call Mark for information. Item is 100% cool and built like a tank.
I can help arrange shipping if needed. International was just inspected and ready to transport. Super-Truck is ready and recently serviced.
Call me for more info. Mark . 701-367-7073

Dodge revives Challenger T/A and Charger Daytona trims for 2017
Tue, Aug 16 2016Dodge is reviving the Challenger's T/A trim and the Charger's Daytona line for 2017. Introduced on iconic Woodward Avenue just days before the annual Woodward Dream Cruise kicks off, the new variants promise more performance hardware and sportier aesthetics. We'll start with the two-door. The Challenger T/A, available with either the R/T trim's 5.7-liter V8 or the fire-breathing 6.4-liter Hemi V8, is inspired by the Challenger T/As of old. That means a less restrictive, 2.75-inch active exhaust system and a conical Mopar air filter. But there's no clear bump in output – Dodge still lists the base 5.7-liter at 375 horsepower and the 6.4-liter model at 485 hp. But hey, they're going to look cooler. Unlike the Challenger Hellcat, which should have it as standard, Dodge is including a Satin Black hood on every Challenger T/A. In fact, Satin Black is a recurring theme on this Challenger's front fascia, roof, rear decklid, and T/A bodyside stripes. And yes, the 20-inch Mopar wheels are black, too – they're also an inch wider than normal. Dodge is offering the T/A in three different trims. The base T/A has everything we described above, while the T/A Plus adds some comfort features like heated and vented Nappa leather seats, an 8.4-inch UConnect system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a six-speaker stereo, and a shortcut button for the Dodge Performance Pages. The T/A 392, meanwhile, adds the 6.4-liter V8, even wider wheels, and Brembo six-pot calipers. If you prefer smoking tires with four doors, there's the new Charger Daytona. No, there's not an enormous wing on the back. But Dodge added the same kind of engine/exhaust upgrades found on the T/A while upping the top speed from 135 to 150 miles per hour. Satin Black features prominently again, with hood and rear fender graphics. The roof is also black. Unlike the Challenger, Dodge is only offering two different versions of the Daytona – the 5.7-liter base model and the 6.4-liter version, called the Daytona 392. Prices for the Challenger T/A start at $38,485, including a $1,095-destination charge, while the T/A Plus adds $2,750. Adding the 392 means shelling out $45,090. For the Daytona, you'll need a check for $40,985 for the 5.7-liter or $46,090 for the 6.4-liter. Orders for the Charger Daytona open in September, while the T/A is a month later. Related Video:
IIHS says these are the safest cars of 2013
Wed, 02 Jan 2013The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has revealed its annual list of Top Safety Picks, an award that highlights automobiles it says offer "superior crash protection." A new and still more significant award, the Top Safety Pick+ honor, is given to those vehicles that earn good ratings for occupant protection in four out of five areas of measure. And while some 117 vehicles were given the TSP seal of approval for 2013, just 13 passed muster for TSP+.
To be fair, IIHS only evaluated 29 vehicles with its new testing procedures for TSP+ (we'd expect that the number of qualified cars will rise substantially for 2014). Luxury and Near Luxury midsize cars were the first groups evaluated, followed by midsizers in the Moderately Priced Cars category - unsurprisingly, it's only midsize cars that you'll find among the class this year.
Only two luxury sedans made the list of 13 for 2013: the Acura TL and Volvo S60. The other 11 cars on the list included entries from domestic, Japanese and German car makers: Dodge Avenger, Chrysler 200, Ford Fusion, Honda Accord (sedan and coupe), Kia Optima (but not its close kin, the Hyundai Sonata, strangely), Nissan Altima, Subaru Legacy and Outback, Suzuki Kizashi and the Volkswagen Passat all made the grade.
Dodge Durango could get eTorque mild hybrid system in 2020
Fri, Dec 27 2019The 2020 Dodge Durango appears slated to get a mild-hybrid powertrain option. That's the word from moparinsiders.com, which unearthed the news from documents relating to contract negotiation between the FCA and the UAW. Although the documents give no further details, it's a pretty safe bet that we're talking about Chrysler's eTorque mild-hybrid system, which was introduced on the Ram 1500 pickup and has since been extended to the Jeep Wrangler. Currently, the Wrangler offers the eTorque system on the 2.0-liter inline-four and the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, both on the Sahara model only, while the Ram 1500 makes the mild-hybrid system standard with the 3.6-liter V6 and an option with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8. The V6 eTorque powertrain makes 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque (Ram) or 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet (Wrangler). The Wrangler's four-cylinder eTorque is good for 270 horses and 295 lb-ft. The V8 version in the Ram is good for 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. In all cases, the eTorque system does not increase peak output over the standard version of the gasoline engine. The mild-hybrid system does provide a minor fuel-economy boost. In the Wrangler, the 3.6-liter with eTorque has EPA city estimates that are 1 mpg better than without the system. On the Ram's V8, eTorque adds 2 mpg city and 1 mpg highway. (The 2.0-liter sees no improvement in its EPA ratings.) It's not known whether the Durango will add eTorque to its V6, or V8, or both. Either engine could do with a fuel-economy boost, as the V6 is EPA rated at 19/26 mpg city/highway (RWD) and 18/25 mpg (AWD), while the V8 version has estimates of 14/22 mpg. Related Video:
