Here I got a overall nice 4x4 truck for sale only due I just got a job that requires to drive a lot more miles so im gonna get a small car to drive and use this to fund that cause I have a few other trucks.....1997 dodge Dakota sport edition. extended cab, 5.2 liter magnum engine ..4 speed automatic w O/D, power windows, locks a/c tilt, cruise, sport package class 3 hitch..lots of power and sounds good, not too loud, but throaty.. has sporty muffler , one into duals after muffler. runs great, rides nice 173k miles young yet.. these are great engines...runs good, shifts good, rides real nice, 4 wheel drive works great, uses no oil, has a small drip now and then. not enough to see between oil changes or nothing...just typical for this year vehicle, also normal is some minor scuffs and scratches and few very small dings.. took side pics to show nice straight body and the best thing is this truck has ZERO rust on the body or frame outside or underneath.. NONE. super nice. only rusty thing that could be replaced to be real nice is rear bumper.. weird spot, but these had rust issues with bumpers and I actually just put a brand new front bumper on it. also the interior is super nice, no rips or tears in seats or dash, a few wrinkles in front of headliner, and a few normal carpet stains that's it. I got the truck from a friend at work too who just upgraded so I know its history and was taken care of. has hand done roll in or spray in bedliner..again bed in excellent condition, liner is a little thin here and there, but again no rust inside bed or under it...a few minor things to mention that I know of is it will need tires before winter and the cruise didn't work when I tried it, a/c works but could prob. take of bottle of coolant to blow ice cold. drivers side mirror has crack in glass but can see fine and it works.. one tiny stone chip at top of windshield. has keyless entry which I think just needs a new battery, did work.. and these also had a clear coat peeling problem..so my buddy did recoat the hood and the roof at one point and he is no expert painter.. don't look terrible but its not show quality that's for sure.. just wanted to mention its hard to see in pics, but at least it is protected, overall rest of paint real nice... ya know normal little stuff.. nothing major or much for the year, I just like to try to as honest and detailed as can be unlike most on here.. like I said this truck overall is very nice and would make a great truck for a new driver or a second vehicle or whatever, will need inspected it just ran out in may, I never got done cause I actually only used lightly around my land I just bought cause it was a fair deal from my friend and have a thing for vehicles...but 1 needs to go to get car. I would be comfortable saying it will need nothing to pass besides tires probably. which brings me to some new items I did do just as the norm when I buy something cause I like to know its done... so new items in last 20 miles have been...oil change , new distributor cap, and rotor , lower power steering hose had a leak, new front bumper as mentioned, new front brake pads and new air filter..so that's about it , im offering truck very fair to get a car so don't miss...its a nice rust free 4x4 truck. lots of room in back for kids too and storage under seats..alot nicer than most mid size trucks... and just wanna mention even though its known.. this truck is a very nice 1997 and I described very well and it is sold as is, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied.. thanks and any ?? or offers feel free to message me..

2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye is the Demon spawn
Thu, Jun 28 2018The Demon has passed from us, but the Demon's spawn are here, so please allow them to introduce themselves. A new demi-Demon trim level has been anointed as the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye. Plus there's an updated Challenger SRT Hellcat and new Challenger R/T Scat Pack Widebody. Like with the Charger introduced this morning, they have inherited some of the best parts from the Demon. The Hellcat Redeye is possessed by the Demon's howling supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi, making 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. Dodge proclaims it the "most powerful production V8" and "quickest production muscle car," with a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds and quarter-mile time of 10.8 seconds at 131 mph. Top speed: 203 mph. Dodge can claim these superlatives, of course, because the 840-horsepower Demon's limited production run has ended. The Hellcat Redeye's Hemi is paired with an eight-speed automatic. Dodge says the powerplant gets 25 major component upgrades, including a larger supercharger (2.7 liters, up from 2.4) with higher boost pressure (14.5 psi, up from 11.6), strengthened connecting rods, pistons and valve train, high-capacity fuel injection system and improved lubrication. It gets a second fuel pump and a higher redline of 6,500 rpm. Theoretically, if you were someplace where you could operate at full throttle without letting up, Dodge says the Hemi would drain the fuel tank in under 11 minutes. Yet the car gets a 22 mpg highway rating from the EPA. View 30 Photos It also has the Torque Reserve system that starts building boost before launching, as well as the air conditioned intercooler to provide extra cool intake air. Both of these were features in the Demon. Furthermore, if the standard 2.62:1 final ratio isn't quick enough for you, Dodge offers a 3.09:1 rear axle. The Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye also comes with the Demon and Hellcat Widebody's fat fender flares. It's an unsurprising inclusion, since you'll want as much tire as possible for all that power. Now, a mere clear-eyed Challenger SRT Hellcat gets a 10-horse boost for 2019 to 717 horsepower, and a smidge more torque at 656 pound feet. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, and an eight-speed automatic is an option. Both Hellcat models get the new dual-snorkel hood we've seen in spy shots. It's meant to evoke 1970s Dodge muscle cars. Dodge says the airflow from the hood alone reduces engine temperature by 4 degrees Fahrenheit.
Stellantis wants to outfit cars with AI software to drive revenue
Tue, Dec 7 2021MILAN — Carmaker Stellantis announced a strategy Tuesday to embed AI-enabled software in 34 million vehicles across its 14 brands, hoping the tech upgrade will help it bring in 20 billion euros ($22.6 billion) in annual revenue by 2030. CEO Carlos Tavares heralded the move as part of a strategy that would transform the car company into a “sustainable mobility tech company,” with business growth coming from features and services tied to the internet. That includes using voice commands to activate navigation, make payments and order products online. The company is expanding existing partnerships with BMW on partially automated driving, iPhone manufacturer Foxconn on customized cockpits and Waymo to push their autonomous driving work into light commercial vehicle delivery fleets. StellantisÂ’ embrace of artificial intelligence and expansion of software-enabled vehicles is part of a broad transformation in the auto industry, with a race toward more fully electric and hybrid propulsion systems, more autonomous driving features and increased connectivity in automobiles. Ford and General Motors also are banking on dramatically increased revenue from similar online subscription services. But the automakers face immense competition for monthly consumer spending from movie and music streaming services, news outlets, Amazon Prime and others. Stellantis, which was formed from the combination of PSA Peugeot and FCA Fiat Chrysler, said the software would seamlessly integrate into customers' lives, with the capability of live updates providing upgraded services over time. New products will include the possibility to subscribe to automated driving features, purchase usage-based car insurance or even increase the power of the vehicle with a tune-up to add horsepower. As a baseline, Stellantis generates 400 million euros in revenue on software-generated services installed in 12 million vehicles. To meet the targets, Stellantis will expand its software engineering team of 1,000 to 4,500 in North America, Asia and Europe. More than 1,000 of the expanded team will be retrained in house. Stellantis also announced a new partnership with Foxconn to develop semiconductors to cover 80% of the companyÂ’s needs and simplify the supply chain. The first microchips from the partnership are targeted to be installed in vehicles in 2024.
2019 Dodge Challenger Review and Buying Guide | Cause we still review awesome cars, too
Tue, May 28 2019The Dodge Challenger has now been kicking around without a complete redesign for a decade, yet it actually seems to be getting more popular in its old age. Credit a substantial overhaul a few years ago, constant tinkering, and a yearly roll out of exciting new variants. For the 2019 Dodge Challenger, we welcome the 797-horsepower Hellcat Redeye and R/T Scat Pack Widebody. However, there's an inherent honesty and unique goodness to the Challenger that allows it to still duke it out with the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro – despite those age-old rivals' transformation into something more akin to a sports car. The Challenger, by contrast, is 100% muscle car more concerned with straight-line performance than handling precision. It's also much bigger and practical, lending itself better to daily driver duty. That, plus its distinctive style and diverse model lineup, make it easy to see why the Challenger continues to enjoy such massive success. You can certainly count us among its fans. What's new for 2019? We say goodbye to the SRT 392 and Demon, but hello to the 797-horsepower Hellcat Redeye and R/T Scat Pack Widebody. The regular Hellcat gets a 10-hp bump as well as a new "dual snorkel" hood. Further down the Challenger pecking order, you can now get all-wheel drive on the base SXT. What's the interior and in-car technology like? The Challenger's interior certainly isn't as characterful and flamboyant as its exterior would suggest. The Mustang and Camaro are more interesting and distinctive inside. Still, there are some interesting design flourishes that spruce things up, from the base trim's standard houndstooth cloth to the two-tone leather choices available as options. Besides, we're not sure how flamboyant you need the interior to be in a car available in electric orange, blue, green and purple paint colors. Furthermore, what the Challenger interior may lack in visual pizzazz, it makes up for with space (see below) and technology. A 7-inch touchscreen is standard, but all trim levels have an 8.4-inch version available as an option or standard. Both are among the easiest to use in the industry, and we prefer the 8.4-inch unit in particular to what's offered by the Camaro and Mustang. Heck, the Ford doesn't even come standard with a touchscreen, let alone the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that are included on every Challenger. How big is it? For a performance coupe, the Challenger is enormous.
