For sale is a 2005 Dodge Dakota truck no reserve this truck is also for sale locally. 609-408-5391. It can be pulled from auction up to 2 hours before the end of the auction if it sold locally. It has served our family well and drives well and has less then 120,000 miles on it. There are plenty of pictures. And we are still using it currently, it has a valid NJ inspection sticker until March 2015. Transmission was rebuilt by aamco this past May 2013, however it is a 5 seater vehicle and we will be moving to a 6 seater Ram truck to fit the entire family, my wife and I are expecting again.
Vehicle issues: Its a used truck, which means scratches, review the pictures to see anything wrong cosmetic. It runs well and it will get you from point A to point B easily. It is reliable and can be driven home obliviously, but when some sort of air isn't running the glove box clicks. Doesn't effect us we always keep the air on. Both air and heat work. Other issue is that the two back wheel wells have some rust, although not rusted through... please see pictures one for each side. This truck has no water damage and never has been in or near any flood or hurricane sandy nonsense.
Note for buyers: Upon winning the auction buyer acknowledges that we expect phone contact within 12 hours of end of auction or it will be relisted. Call 609-408-5391 contact person: Clarence. We will not wait for paypal so if that's the method you are going to choose you need to work with us quickly to get the money cleared and it sold. And if you pay cash we will take $100 off of the final auction price. You are welcome to come and test drive it before you bid a bid is legally binding so don't do it unless you are serious thanks. No refunds or returns will be accepted as we are using this money for another vehicle, but you can drive around as a test drive until you are comfortable with it. The local DMV is 5 miles from here so transferring the title will be easy. And finally we expect full payment and pick up of the vehicle within 4 days of the end of the auction. Good Luck and Happy bidding and if you have questions call us. 609-408-5391
One final thing the truck will not leave our possession until we have the cash in hand, and we aren't willing to use or wait for paypal unless you are paying all of the fees and can ensure that the money is available to use right away and clears our accounts. We will not be letting the truck leave until the money is in our bank account. Simply stated test drive it and cash and carry home thanks. 609-408-5391 Contact Clarence

This incredibly '90s Dodge Ram video shows roots of the luxury pickup truck
Sat, Oct 3 2020To paraphrase the Talking Heads, you may find yourself behind the wheel of a Ram 1500 Limited with a 12-inch touchscreen and sumptuous leather, and you may ask yourself, "How did we get here?" Well, some of that credit goes to that loaded Ram's predecessor, the second-generation Dodge Ram. As you'll see in this fascinating promotional video for the truck uploaded by YouTube Channel TheClassicSports, it seems to highlight all the things that make up the modern pickup truck, albeit in a slightly more modest form. Right off the bat, the video starts talking about how the new Ram isn't your traditional pickup. It has features like anti-lock brakes, a spacious, comfortable cabin and standard driver-side airbag. Later, it notes the extensive sound insulation, as well as the cupholders and a giant center console to set up your mobile office, with space for a cell phone and laptop. But it's not just a comfortable truck. It's a powerful, practical and intimidating one. This Ram is frequently credited as the truck that changed pickup design, moving from simple rectangular boxes to ones with style, particularly semi-truck style. In the video, the host notes that regardless of what people think, "They all call it 'big'." And of course, there's the all-important utility aspect. Highlights include various interior storage bins, slots in the bed to create divided sections, and the critical towing and payload capacities; best-in-class of course. Don't forget the wide array of engines, too, from the base V6 to the unique at the time gas V10 engine. This isn't to say that competitors from Chevy and Ford weren't changing to this more stylish, more well-appointed truck philosophy, either. The mid-'90s Silverado was quite modern, too, with its sleek, if still boxy shape. And the late-'90s F-150 ushered in a sleek, curvy design that has yet to return to the full-size market. But the second-generation Ram really encompasses everything about how the truck market was about to change for the next few decades. Related Video:
Dodge Demon makes so much torque, it needs stronger driveline parts
Thu, Mar 2 2017Torque is a lovely thing, a sweet and wonderful force that twists and pulls and can help propel a two-ton metal box forward at comical speeds. Torque is also fickle and will bend and break those same metal parts without a second thought, which is why the new Dodge Demon is compensating for its increased torque with some new re-engineered and reinforced parts. And there's software intended to combat wheel hop, which one of the most dramatic ways torque can break stuff. Week 8's video, "Race-hardened Parts," gives a hint towards what all these new parts can do. While we still don't know how much torque the Demon will throw out, we do know it's enough to warrant an upgraded prop shaft, half shafts, and a differential housing. The Challenger Hellcat, which is the basis for the Demon, makes 650 pound-feet of torque already. The new parts will go a long way toward making sure the work from the Demon's engine is properly translated into motion by those Nitto drag radials. The new prop shaft uses high-strength steel, heat-treated stub-shafts, and increases the tube thickness by 20 percent for a 15 percent increase in torque capacity. Additionally, Dodge says the upgraded differential housing allows for a 30 percent increase in torque capacity by using heat-treated A383 aluminum alloy and a higher strength shot-peened gear set. The 41-spline half shafts that deliver 20 percent increased torque capacity through the use of high-strength low alloy steel and 8-ball joints. In addition to the hardware, the Launch Assist software has been tuned to help alleviate wheel hop. Dodge says the Demon is the first factory production car that uses wheel speed sensors to detect hop and momentarily cut torque to compensate. This means a driver can keep their foot planted on the floor while the computer sorts out the traction. Previously, the best solution was to back off the throttle to manually cut the load. Finally, the Dodge Demon will offer a four-point harness mounting bar as an optional accessory. The part will be supplied by Speedlogix and fits in place of the deleted rear seat. Customers can install the bar without having to hack apart their cars to find a proper mounting point. SRT partners with Bondurant for performance driving classes
Fri, Nov 6 2015Dodge and Bob Bondurant have announced a new partnership that will see the latter become the former's official high-performance driving school. The deal will see the Bondurant school's entire fleet of nearly 100 vehicles switched over from mostly General Motors products to Dodge Chargers, Challengers, and Vipers. It will give paying customers the chance to drive models like the new Hellcats and even the Viper ACR (for those deemed qualified to drive it) on the track in Arizona. The arrangement won't only benefit Bondurant clients, though. Anyone who buys or leases a new SRT model will get a one-day course at the school, including professional instruction on track.
