Up for sale is a 2002 Dodge Dakota R/T, powered by a huge
5.9L 360ci motor. This Dakota has always been garage kept in Florida and only
has a 2 owner history. The body is in excellent condition for a 12 year old
truck! The exterior shows very little signs of wear and the paint is in great
condition. The truck bed also features an additional bed liner mat, as well as
a leather tonneau cover, worth over $350! The interior is also in great
condition, with only one blemish on the driver’s side carpet. Having only 67k miles and bright red paint
this little red truck is truly a show stopper. In 1999 Dodge decided to create
a modern day hot rod truck for consumers, and this truck was the result of
those experiments. With only 299 R/T trucks made in 2002, surly far fewer were
optioned with Flame Red exterior, dark slate gray interior and chrome wheels. This
truck has also been lowered 2” to give it an aggressive look, while also improving
the driving experience greatly. A brand new install Cold Air Intake has just
been installed and really gives this big motor a unique sound, plus all new
headlights, fog lights and a custom grill to set this truck apart from the
crowd! This Dakota not only rides great down the highway, with the air blowing
cold, but it’s also guaranteed to turn heads at any car meet! It really is a

Dodge recalling 2k SRT Hellcat Challengers and Chargers for fuel leak
Tue, Mar 3 2015Bad news for fans of the obscene output of the Dodge Hellcat twins, as FCA has announced a voluntary recall of both 707-horsepower variants of the 2015-model-year Charger sedan and Challenger coupe. According to FCA, a total of 2,211 cars are being recalled after a dealer discovered a "possible fuel leak" during a pre-delivery inspection. Despite getting cleared by suppliers, FCA claims its engineers found "improperly installed" hose seals. Owners of affected vehicles will receive notification and be asked to report in for repairs. Of the vehicles affected, the overwhelming majority, 2,012, were sold in the US market. The remainder were sold in Canada (148), Mexico (30) and just 21 outside of North America. Thieves relieve Detroit-area Dodge dealer of $70,000 in SRT wheels
Tue, Apr 26 2016Okay Mopar fans, this won't be easy to read. A video, which has since been made private, popped up over on Reddit's Cars subreddit over the weekend and detailed the aftermath of a massive wheel heist at a metro Detroit dealership. Thieves broke into Sterling Heights Dodge and made off with at least $70,000 worth of wheels and tires. The thieves ignored the V6 models and instead targeted Hellcat, SRT392, Scat Pack, and R/T versions of the Charger and Challenger. The poor muscle cars were left sitting on blocks, with the voice behind the video saying the treatment led to underbody damage. We only counted 12 cars, but the person shooting the video said thieves targeted 14 vehicles. That works out to about $5,000 in wheels per vehicle. We've reached out to Sterling Heights Dodge general manager and the Sterling Heights Police Department for comments. We haven't heard back yet, but we'll be sure to update this post with any additional information. Oh, and if you're in metro Detroit and perusing Craigslist for a new set of alloys, we'd advise against buying Dodge wheels for the next few weeks. They might be hot. Related Video:
